did you wanna try some new strains and seeds .,?
Thanks friend, I have so many seeds reserved to grow and I will never get to grow. Out of over 1,000s seeds, how many do you think will get grown? Maybe 20 to 100 more plants and the rest will be wasted. It doesn't take that many seeds to have more than enough. I have way more than enough.

I @Creeperpark

I followed your tips regarding the use of Fox Farm soil.

I did grow a Panama Haze and a Golden Tiger with tap water only, up potting 2 times during the grow. The girls went about 14 weeks in bloom without major problems.

... I watered minimally (once every 10 days in veg, once every 5 days in bloom).

STELLAR RESULTS !!!

Thanks again for the great advices ✌️

Are you saying those were in FFOF and fed only plain water? Looks more overfed than underfed to me. Or am I missing something?

I have some co-op space available in my garden if you would like someone to plop some of those for you and to assist in the search!

Exactly !

2/3 HF and 1/3 OF.
Soil itself contains enough nutes. I up potted once in veg and another time after the stretch (week 3-4 bloom).

Pure sats don't need much. Even without liquid fertilizer They burned a bit. I'll be using Happy Frog by itself in the future for my pure sativas.

Then I bet that nutrient burn is from underwatering and letting the soil out a bit too much. I'd suggest keeping the soil more moist. When it dries out the salts can get more concentrated. I try keeping my organic soil more evenly moist. It's better for the microbes too.

Where do you see that?
Maybe I'm not seeing it.
Problems with the ph earlier and water intake gets cut back ro prevent budrot which results in hanging leaves. Taking all that into account, they're fading nicely for day68 imo.
The tips are all burned up and those brown spots. Just looks like nutrient burn or lockout issues to me. I have a feeling it's his watering practice too if all he's giving is plain water. Like I said in the last post, letting the soil dry out too much can cause issues like that over time. I keep my soil moist to prevent that stuff. And the microbes stay happier.

Leaf tip necrosis is typically a sign of deficiency, not overfeeding. When we overfeed its normally an overall necrosis on leaves with no real pattern. Inner veinal necosis vs edge necrosis are tell tall patterns of specific deficiency but people call them out as nute burn all the time when its in fact underfed. Potassium deficiency being the most commonly called out.

That's not just K deficiency. K deficiency starts towards the bottom. That thing has multiple nutrient issues. Looks like lockout to me.

I'm confident it was from transplanting in fresh soil loaded with Nitrogen during flowering (from 7L pots to 26L pots). Those sats don't eat much and were not able to use all the N avaible

I don't worry much about underwatering. Growers often overwater and fuck up the PH of the soil.

Here are 23 days old plants I haven't watered since 12 days.

Here are other plants I grew with the same watering practices ... minimal or no burning.

Im not saying it is K just saying its mistaken all the time as nute burn, the same with leaf tip necrosis from being underfed. I agree its either locked out due to ph issues likely going too low or too low of feed by not adding anything to the ffof.

What are you adding to your water to increase the EC to 400 ppm? Is it CalMag?
I fucked up on this grow friend. Unknowingly, I was using a faulty pH meter during alkalosis and burnt the shit out of my plants with a bottom pH of 5.2 and a substrate pH of 7.7. Calcium carbonate raised my pH in a high range locking out micronutrients and I didn't know it using a faulty meter. I only grow one time a year and I used this faulty pH meter for the last 4 years.

When my faulty meter would act up this time, I would just calibrate it and keep using it thinking it was ok. It turns out it wasn't and I had to get re-dailed in just to get buds for my jars. So I picked up the pieces and made what I had left work using a new pH meter. So I can say I made a mistake in this garden and will be the first to admit it.
