Got a few questions for you master Greens. What kind of fertilizer do you use? Did you add any bat guano or bone meal? Do you know the name for those crystals that people use to retain water? (for less watering) Thanks for all your help, your outdoor plants are all gorgeous looking, all that frosty goodness. All your strains are on my list for next years outdoor. Keep it Green.

Peace.

johnyhash,

Yes, GG will tend to finish earlier if you do start them earlier. However, starting them mid-may will not be early enough for them to finish in July (well a few might, but the majority will still be in August). Also, if you start them one month before I do does not mean that they will necessarily finish one month before mine (I planted mine as seeds directly outside May 29th). The reason for this, as you have already stated, is because the days will get longer until June 21st and this will prolong the flowering period of the GG plants. However, it's not likely that they would reveg (maybe if you started like the beginning of April, they might reveg in June. Never done it).

IMO, GG does not need to be started early to finish early. It's all about the genetics. I mean, my seeds were planted towards the end of May and 94 days later, the majority of the GGs were harvested and it was about 15 days later for the GG crosses.

Super buds, my plants receive only organic goodies for fertilizer. So, I mix in top soil, tropical bat guano, worm castings, and dolomite lime into the coco coir. Then, I sometimes feed them with Earth Juice Catalyst throughout and with EJ Bloom when flowering starts. It's great stuff! I think the stuff you are looking for is called "Soil Moist" or something like that. I don't use it in the swamps. Hey, thanks man for the compliments!

Blackbart, I'm glad you like my pics and strains. Sorry that I slacked updating my thread at the Cabana. Man, I've been busy. You'll have to give the Manitoba Meds and the Guerilla Gold#5 next year. Also, I will have the GG#3 available, which is going to blow everyone's minds. Check the pic. Keep in touch!

I thought forsure clones of gg#2 would flower almost immedietly when put outside early spring, if kept under 24 hours light inside. Isnt a 7 -8 hour dark period enough to trigger flowering?? Greens your than man I cant wait to grow these beans.

Johnyhash, if you have some mature clones going out, they will likely begin flowering even earlier.

dyr, thanks man. Yes, I grew the GG x Danish passion and it is some very nice herb. I really love that smell and it has a nice uplifting high.

Pseudo, hehe too bad about the keyboard. Nice GG cross there man. I think I saw yours months ago and they sure did finish very early! If she's not as potent as pure DF, I'd try the cross over again trying to find a more potent GG male. If you find a male with nice trichs, that's always a good sign. I did like the ducksfoot buds I tried a couple years ago, but GG can definetely be just as potent (and some phenos have actually been way stronger). Try using the GG#3 to pollinate the DF and I bet then you will get something crazy good. GG#5 also has very good consistency for having high potency plants, so that would be another good choice for crossbreeding. Still, GG#2 has the edge for being the earliest and it is such a hardy plant. Most of those will be quite potent, but a couple might be average and a couple will be killler.

I guess I should take some more dry bud pics, but I've been so busy. I'll try to get on that soon because I have some very nice specimens I want to show off. lol.

i thought you might like to know that several of my med patients have been finding the GG and Some of the crosses to be very useful in both pain managment and loosening of tight muscles. The herb is being appreciated

Thanks slarti!

Yeah, I have found the same thing with the GG, especially GG#5 and GG#3. They are great at relaxing muscles and relieving pain, even headaches. One close friend of mine says that nothing works better to relieve his severe acute gout attacks than GG dry sieve kif (and it melts too!).

I thought I should let you guys know that I harvested the last plants last week. There were some of the Freezeland 2bx plants, some Mighty Durban's, the last Mighty Freeze, a couple congo x GG, and one last sour diesel x GG. It wasn't nearly as big as the end of August and the mid September harvest, but it is excellent quality.

They survived a nasty frost where it went down to -2 cecius. One of the congo x GG showed a little frost damage, but the rest were fine. The buds were very resinous and stinky, so I was glad to get this last batch.

Overall, this year I had the best harvest I've ever had both in terms of quantity and quality. The best yield per container I had was with the GG#5. This GG line turned out to be amazing. The plants are productive and are just coated with trichomes. There were two distinct phenotypes that showed up, one being shorter indica pheno and the other being a taller indica/sativa pheno. Almost all of them were done by the end of August except for some of the ind/sat phenos, which went to early-mid september.

The best part about the GG#5 is that every single plant is potent, with many being absolutely killer. The buds are semi-solid, covered in resin, and reek of sweet seasoning, greasy peppary skunk, cheddar cheese, acidic hash, and kind of a minty mocha. The high is a psychedilic stone, with intense euphoria. The more sativa phenos are like this but more trippy and irie. These are all good for pain relief too. Many plants are absolutely debilitating. I love it.

These pics are from the end of August

The best yield from one plant came from that big Manitoba Medicine. The average yield was also very good with this strain. This is another great new strain that finishes very early with awesome potency. The buds have a very complex smell like pine, sweet seasoning, sour grape, black licorice, blueberry muffins, and greasy skunk.

Again, with this strain all plants are potent and some are just mind-blowing. The high is characterized with intense euphoria and giddiness, but with a very relaxing component to it. I found some phenos to be very trippy, while others were heavier. This is another good strain for pain relief or for appetite stimulation.

These pics are from the end of August and mid September...

The most potent single plant I grew this year is a Freezeland x GG#2. I've knocked countless people on their ass with this stuff. Very heavy, very debilitating, but puts a giant grin on your face. It also has a strong piney smell and taste with sweet spicy and skunky undertones. The vapes appear to be thick as smoke with this stuff. lol. Click on that pic to expand it!

Harvested mid-September:

OK, I will be back with some dry bud pics and some more vape reports.

Good luck to everyone pulling in their harvests!

Alright, I thought I would update with a few dry bud pics.

The first pic is GG#5 indica pheno and the second is GG#5 sativa pheno. Both are dank and smell so good. Very potent herb too! It's unbelievable for a strain that finishes at the end of August!

This pic is Auto Timewarp x GG#2. It's a stinky GG leaning pheno and it's just covered in trichs. This is some great herb all around.

The 4th and 5th pics are Freezeland x GG#2. This stuff is so frosty, but the pics don't really do it justice. I'll try again later. This herb is just killer.

Third and fourth are Guerilla Gold x Danish Passion (esbe's cross). It has such a nice sweet spicy, meaty, hashy smell and good resin coverage. Nice uplifting high too!

Your strains looks very interesting and ive been following your grows from time to time.
i have some gg#2 but didnt get time to pop and play with them this year
i cant remember if a fellow dane did this cross Danish passion x GG or if it was another cross with GG and a danish strain, otherwise i might do that cross cause i think it will be some potent, early one

i once somewhere, here or another forum, cant remember where you had a complete list and description on each strain and cross
how it finished, when etc etc

can you point me in a direction with a link?

I'm ordering all gg crosses for next years crop, looks like I made a good choice. Any Idea how many oz. per Congo x GG?
