Outdoor Madness in Manitoba with Greens (Guerilla Gold and many other strains)

Vol Funk, the GG is a moderate stinker. It'll definetely reek, but I normally don't smell them until I'm within 25 feet of them outside.

Hi Greens, a quick question for you if you don't mind. You usually don't smell them until you're within 25 feet, of a plot containing how many fully flowering GGs?

I'm aware that, disregarding air currents, odour disperses from the source following the law of inverse squaring, like light and sound. Meaning that if you double the distance from the source of the odour, the smell isn't halved but quartered.

Although other factors such as air current and physical screens (undergrowth and trees) come into play aswel. Thanks.

Damn Greens, that's alot of plants! I'm suprised that you can't smell them from that distance away. Perhaps your nose is desensitized to the smell, due to having plants around you indoors all the time? Even if we take that into account, it sounds as though up to a dozen GGs should be ok at that distance. Far more than I'd ever consider growing anway. Thanks G. :)

Well, you could be right but I haven't been growing indoors for over a year now. That was just a guess though, so I'm not sure exactly what the distance was before I could smell them (I didn't test that because I was miles in the bush).

I hope its jus a joke about greens retirement. Ithink he loves his erb way too much to retire where are you Greens!?????

Im currently growing 10 or so GG X DP. I started them indoors early JUNE.. They are under 24 hours of flourescent light. I checked them out yesterday, and all of the males are showing, they actually look like they are in flowering.. The tops are completely formed, and the pollen sacks are growing now. They look weird bc they are flowering so small.. maybe 5 sets of leaves on them.. Do the males always show early? Or are they flowering bc they are under 24/0?
This is the first time growing this strain, so any info would be greatly appreciated! I intend on using these for breeding, and I was told to keep the most Sat. Dom looking males.
I thought about crossing the GG X DP with the exodus Cheese.

It's a good time to bump Greens's old outdoor threads. They should help to inspire everyone for the upcoming season!
