True, @laszlokovacs , but he picked it up a few days after the Cristal Candy, and it was still a little wet to try. I'll comment when I can try it.

As an aside and for everyone, I leave you a photo of a small Golden Tiger that I found walking through this forum... Be careful not to have something happen to you like it did to me, and you are about to step on it accidentally...
Golden Tiger Thai out in the wild.
13 feet tall and she's bulking up with spicy scented buds.

Humidity came in last night as temps were dropping and had to quit jarring. The flower was getting too spongey. Humidity went from 40% in the afternoon to 90-95% a couple hours after dark. Flower was all dry though and ready to jar, just had remoistened. There were a couple flowers on long branches that need an extra day.

Almost done, humidity will be stable this evening with temperatures on the rise today and tomorrow. Smokes really good with the extra moisture though. More potent than last year which was dried out too much. :smoke:

Saw a deer carcus that was cleaned by coyotes. I had to move so I could drive the truck around the field. It had been cleaned down to the bone and was strung out from being pulled on. Fur pelt was still good. Its amazing to think about how the wildlife survives, a lot goes on out here. Its wild and wonderful. :smoke:

Is that going to finish Eltitoguay? I know you are warmer there, but season could be cut off in Jan(...)
Hope God wants it... Ojalá...insha'Allah...

At least I'm going to take care of her as much as I can...
If I see that she can't handle my winter, which is the most likely thing, I will distribute the ones I have, which are quite a few and feminized, between my cousins @el mani and @Hombre del mont and their warmer subtropical Mediterranean climate... if the Germanic cannabis beast of my friend @MadMac doesn't It seems bad...

@Hombre del mont , ¿como va tu Original Haze?

(...)Looks like the (Thai) A5 haze is in August stage for here. Not familiar with sativas though.
...I don't understand how my Thai A5 Haze could look like this in August in your area, if we are both at the same approximate latitude of 39°N (!?). It would have started flowering around the same approximate date.

October-23 :
Zamaldélica,
(Reunion Island's Zamal X Golden Tiger; Golden Tiger being: Koh Chang Thai/Hmong Thai X Malawi Killer), (Asociación de Cultivadores Españoles).
Born during the second half of April, she measures 1.65 meters; She has the 3 lower nodes (6 lower branches) pruned. Increasingly sweeter and more delicate smell: mandarin/orangenade, and a finish with a mixture of sweet carrot and fruity melon:

She has a long way to go yet.

The temperature has really dropped off this last week and we've had high winds and heavy rain, (which fell as snow on the Sierra to the North of our village).
We went from shorts and tee shirts, too long trousers, jumpers and overcoats overnight. Two nights ago I had to light the wood burner, it was that cold!.

Thankfully, the sun has returned this morning, although it's still quite chilly (22c), especially in the breeze.
The snow that fell over the last couple of days is already melting and Mrs DM tells me that the forecast is for warmer weather in the coming week. 🤞we might even be able to get down to the coast one afternoon later in the week for a few hours.

Later in the day I'll try and update my diary with all the other girls.

Everything is now in jars. Moisture content was a little high but was still good in the first round of jarring this week. That's when I was jarring in the evening and at night with a frost on the way and increasing humidity to near 90%. Yesterday it was just right. The jars can be aired out a little longer on a couple dry days an it will end up about right.

The moisture and proper cure has really done something special for the flower. Its much more complete cannabinoid and terpene profile and stronger. The effect is more comforting and refreshing with less anxiety racy effect. Have cut them up a lot, and it risks a little mold, but the outdoor cure for 2 weeks, they are nearly done curing because of the dry/ humid cycles! It said in that article it only takes a couple weeks to complete a cure.

Stay tuned for some smoke tests in the next few weeks. Time to rest, I am so glad! The hard work has paid off! :smoke:

Great shots, Hombre del Monte! Hope the weather works out for you. Weather can change quick in the mountains!

Eltitoguay--What I meant was the A5 Haze is in early stages of flowering similar to my indicas in the month of August. Obviously a long way to go for that one. Hope you get some good tastes.

Thanks for the shots guys, looks like some comforting aromas, I can almost smell them by telepathy. The Spirit moves and gives hints of new cannabis flavors, some I will never be able to actually try, but I know they exist because of perceptions. Interesting plant! :smoke:

@revegeta666 I'll do whatever you say, these buds are so good. Very comforting therapeutic medicine when done the right way!!!! :smoke:

Went out and burped the jars. It will be worth the extra effort to preserve the quality. Will go ahead and burp them daily for a couple weeks as the weather allows. Temps and humidity are perfect this part of the week, hovering at highs in the low to mid 70's F and humidity around 50-60%! Even had a breeze.

Going to have to bury them as soon as possible to keep the flowers from freezing and thawing.

It depends on moisture content of course. When I jar them over dry and crunchy, it doesn't matter much to burp them because moisture is mostly gone. When there is 60% or more moisture they are spongy feeling, and they need to be aired out because of the chemical reactions going on inside, to preserve the fresh resin profile of the harvest. Oxygen must be allowed to be used up and then refreshed. Jars need burped of excess gas and moisture. Warm temps make it more important to make sure the jars are burped.

Most of them were alright and didn't burp much because I pack them so tight, there is very little air.

Some of them had a noticible burp. Moisture content has been pretty much spot on it looks like! Only one or 2 were a little damp to the touch, but its all good as long as there is no condensation on the glass inside the jars! :smoke:

Thanks for the help! Its obviously worth the extra effort. It will get cold and rainy in a few days, and may not be able to burp on one or 2 days.

Never. And I don't think it will be easy to grow it in my mountains without a greenhouse, like I grow...
I had a wonderful and super sativa in 2020 Zamalmistyc [(Zamal Mafate 80's) x (Original Misty x Jack Herer/Afghan)] F5; Tropical Seeds Company / Underground Seeds Collective, which came out very Zamal (I had another one before in which the Dutch part was much more noticeable).
Born on 20-July, I harvested it on December 4 (just 1 month & 3 days before an exceptional snowfall, of which I left photos a few messages ago, when I was commenting on how fickle and different my winters can be in my Sierra).
Strongly cerebral-introspective-creative effect, clear and clean; with a part of physical excitement. High potency.
Fruity mango-melon flavour with a light herbal/creamy finish of mint and baking...
