Looks like the wind and rain that hassled my plants is all over, yesterday was pretty nice here in the PNW, sunny & mid 60s.

This is one of the Honduran Jamaicans from Tycho, this is one of the two that flowered a little bit later, started around mid August. Its about 6 & 1/2 feet tall growing in a 2 gallon container, but its just bare stem for the bottom 3', thats the branches of a bigger HonJam to the right of it
honjam.jpg

The next two are Honduran Jamaican x Blue Jägerschnitzel, this is my first experiment with making a cross with the Honduran Jamaican. On the left in the blurry background of the 2nd pic you can see a 3rd one of these hybrids that got its top few inches knocked off in the weather when the wind blew it over. Once the plant got soaked by the rain it was heavy enough for the wind to take it down like that. They smell kinda like fresh house paint and have fairly open bud structure.

This is a colorful trio of (South African x Jägerschnitzel) BX1 semiautos in front, there are two South African BX1s that are still fully green behind the trio, unadulterated with any ruderalis genes, Strawberry Banana was the partner in that backcross. I grew them because I was hoping to make BX2s, but then I ran out of frozen South African pollen when I was pollenating the full blooded South Africans, so now I'm just growing them to compare them to the South Africans I guess. The (South African x Jägerschnitzel) BX1 semiautos I grew to inbreed and get to the next generation where I hope to recover the autoflowering feature, they smell like cutting into a ripe pear.

This is one of the crop of 62.5% South African semiautos. The full cross is South African x [(South African x Jägerschnitzel) x Poly the polyhybrid autoflower]. I inbred these ones too in hopes of making an autoflowering version of the South African because its got great flavor and because I can't grow it all too well outdoors due to late flowering and weakness to rot in cold & wet fall weather.

These are the two Swazi BX1 x Swazi BX2 females I got out of a dozen plants, the rest were all male. The females are not all that early flowering, I may have to try again next year with this seed batch to see if I can find an early flowering Swazi BX1 x Swazi BX2 female to go along with the frozen pollen from the super early flowering pair of males I got. I seeded a few buds of these two with their brothers anyway, but I'll probably never use the seeds. Thet both smell just right, especially the first one which is fairly loud, weird smell and hard to describe

Last is one of the Swazi BX3s that got a late start. It will be around until late November before its ready unless the climate kills it first. I've had a several years in a row of really good experiences growing full blooded Swazis late into the season without too many problems so hopefully the BX3s are just as robust. I ran out of pure Swazi seeds as a result of not getting any males after the 2nd year I started growing them, I tried every last seed I had of the pure ones and they were all girls. I guess I made a mistake not making more seeds the 2nd year.

Love them purples. Before my last grow here on the Equator, I assumed that purple genetics are only triggered by cold whether. Planted out some purple paralysis this year and found that purple cannabis CAN indeed turn purple regardless of temperature.

October-1
Greetings from the northern end of Sierra Morena (the European one), approximately 39°N and 800 meters (2625 feet) altitude. As predicted by the AEMet, we have had a sunny weekend and the beginning of October, with minimum night temperatures between 18 and 20°C (64.5 and 68°F), maximum temperatures in the shade of 36°C (97°F ), relative humidity between 15 and 50%:

And almost exactly the same weather is forecast for the rest of this week:

Another splendid day to take a walk to "La Perrera" to see the plants, and what we find along the way...

October-1; 20:00 h:
Let's go inside "La Perrera": The first of the 3 bushes, as we enter, is a Zamaldélica fem(A.C.E); she has the 3 lower nodes (6 lower branches) pruned; 1'65 meters tall.
The smell has evolved a bit, changing the slight melon finish to, now, sweet carrot; The current smell is soft, sweet and citrusy: tangerine with a slight sweet carrot finish:

Thanks! Rocket is a great Bible study cat, he helps keep me on track. He can discern the thoughts and spirits whether good or evil. I better stay right with the Lord or else he goes away to eat or starts swatting at me. God's gift! :smoke:

Was busy last weekend scouting for mold and watering and scouting for mold. I have everything staked up now that can be. Plants are much happier when they are upright. If you let them lay over too much, it can throw off their growth and development and they could mold more easily. Ended up watering all the water again, so about 115-125 gal I think it was.

Weather is going to be too wet later this week it looks like to harvest. Temps will cool from mid 80's F to upper 50's to 60F for a couple days then swing back a little warmer and dry with sun to around 70 F! So Next week thursday or Friday hoping to start the harvest, and that will be about the 12th of the month, and plants will be much more fragrant and ripe. Right now, harvested flowers pretty good, but potency isn't there on all of them, an terpenes are generally lacking. Its worth the wait. Going to be watching the weather forecast closely.

Enjoying the early testers though, great medicine. Really love that DC x BB, very tight buds with not too much flavor yet, but definitely potent! The DC x LVPK x HK has great therapeutic indica terpenes developing and provides good relief. I've been getting sore running so hard lately!

How about a few new views? Had some cool nights around 50F, bringing out the color in them now! :smoke:

Early Skunk x Lebanese-- sweet with mild orange/mango background. Fruity light sativa type smell. Looks like the Lebanese came through on these. Can't wait to try, have a few test flowers drying out from small mold spots.

Big fruity beast Sativa Candy Chunk with a 2 topped main cola! This is a good hue of fruit, kind of apple, not the overripe fruit type. Going to be tastey! :smoke:

He dicho.

Pd: juro que en un principio, puse "cogollets", por "cabdells", je, je...
Cosas del caloret...como diría una exalcaldesa de la capital de tu Comunidad Autónoma y Antiguo Reino de Valencia...
