I tell ya, this is a good thread. Really nice seeing fellow cultivators outdoors and sharing progress and strains.

I just went and checked a patch. Im looking maybe second week of october for the big one, however the white widow x haze gonna be a bit later.

The odd thing about this year is all my girls that are in the ground (afgan x skunk x powerplant) delayed flowering a bit and they are usually first to put out...while all the ones in big pots, are well on way. Only ones in ground really delayed.

One strain Im particular thats impressing me so far is the OG BADAZZ CHEESE...the aroma is very diff...like a clean....floral...very unique. Very nice producer and strong against the elements....

IMG_20230821_175826749_HDR.jpg

Im also doing a test run for my private breeder out of spain....this is a freak auto. Its massive and 30 days younger than the phenos but getting bigger than the phenos....
I was told it takes 30-45 days longer to start flowering compared to other autos.

Im not sure its a true auto, idk, im not an auto grower.
IMG_20230821_135957993.jpg

On the left is the freak auto and on right is pheno white widow thats 30 days older.

IMG_20230821_135942730.jpg

What a beast for an auto. I dont know full lineage , but it does have some jack herrer in it and a spainish genetic used in commercial grows.

Im gonna do a full review and ect. after harvest and post in auto section.

Still figuring how and where im gonna dry and cure, been reading about guys curing in freezer with good results.

Anyone ever cured in a big rubbermaid or sterilite tub? Not wanting to buy more jars.

Whats everyone doing with their trim? Bubble bucket? Throw away? Make some butter?

Fall will be here soon! We are almost there fellas!

Nice work everyone. Keep em coming.

One of the few advantages growing in small containers is the mobility. I was able to bring these two of Tycho's Honduran Jamaicans inside to be pollinated earlier tonight. I'd had the male lying on table for a couple days and not delivering all that much pollen, but enough that I was able to pollinate 4 nodes or 8 short branches worth, should be a couple hundred seeds. In the morning I'll mist the plants with water thoroughly and then bring them back outside and won't have to worry too much about having accidentally cross contaminated any of my other plants.
honjam spends a night inside.jpg

It was the plant on the right that got pollinated, I'd have done both if I'd had enough pollen, but the one on the right is a few days ahead of the other so it won the prize. I marked the top and bottom pollinated nodes with black twist ties.

And for the record, I dry sift all my trim, smalls and leftovers from seeded buds and I don't bother to do all that nice of a job of it, what I get is maybe slightly more potent than regular ground bud, more like keif than hash. Whenever I make really pure dry sift it catches fire when I'm trying to smoke it, I like it better when its full of plant matter, it cherries without turning into a nasty tasting molten ball of flaming tar. I could have the hash pressed for really nice tasty rosin if I wanted something to dab, but I don't even have a rig.

Mountainoutlaw, I don't think thats an autoflower. Might be something that was crossed to an auto. Or maybe its an auto that gets like 15 nodes high before flowering, I've never seen one like that before.

I really screwed up on my outdoor crop :oops:it’s been too wet this season and I didn’t amend my holes enough so I have a catch 22 I can’t feed them and they’re fading fastI and drowning Simultaneously…
Sorry to hear that. May help to make a mound of soil around the base of the plant and could also cut drainage ditches to move the water away from the plants. May need to move the garden next year to somewhere with a little slope and drainage.

Hope they improve for you! Hurricane reminants going out to the west coast I guess. :smoke:

Love that picture of a massive cola looming above a lake in the background. That means there is no need to water those water side plants at all, since their roots will be tapping that ground water as needed.

Nice plants! The IAF must have many phenos, they all have the red leaf stems and long stem single leaves. But the bud structure looks different on all of them, including yours. Any mold?
many thx :) yes worked out very well so far...
and that's what i'll said... IA has many different...
i'll avoided any 3 finger auto leaf pheno's ...
took the most sativa looking and also the high was different...
all other auto's i'll tried where not so good from high and smell...
i'll really don't like the moth balls or old woman smell... lavender or any kind of this ...
IA was the only one with some pheno's that where different but still where kind of auto or very light sensitiv...
no mold until now... but it's wet here too ...
thx

Interesting to see the genes at play there! How is the flower development on the haze dominant Iranian Auto/OHz x OHz ones?

hello,
here some more shot's from today...
had rat's damaging my plants... so had to act before to late
IMG_7103.jpeg

simple but effective ...
IMG_7104.jpeg

and here the flowering IA/OHz x OHz ... from those i've clones and will make S1's if high is ok ... looks like they will finish in time... it's full sativa dom now ... like 75% OHz or more... so they will also flower longer than indica dom... if they are ready before 15 october ... all good...
IMG_7105.jpeg
IMG_7106.jpeg

this pic show's it all ... full flower mode and full sativa dom ...
IMG_7107.jpeg

the yellow fan leaf's ... not normal .. but it's from mouse and other underground animals who made holes under the plant... so water and food was blocked some time until i'll fixed that... now she is full back on track... if this happen ... it's nature... it's in the wild ... not controlled or maintained every day... also the soil is clay and not good for plants... if place is good will fix that too next season...so far they are all resistent against bug's... interesting also the rat's liked only my IA's but not the AK47 or C99 or Kali nor WW ... they are all standing next... they damaged only my plants .. so they liked it... maybe a good sign haha
IMG_7108.jpeg

left AK47 two middle my IA Haze right C99 ... to me the IA/OHz x OHz has the better structure ... and some are more than 3 meter ... with better soil
IMG_7109.jpeg

C99 ... just showing sex.. bg IA/OHz x OHz
IMG_7110.jpeg

AK47 ... same here just showing sex... background my IA/OHz x OHz ... what a difference ;-)
IMG_7111.jpeg

and finally ..we need thick stems for huge flowers ... do you see the face in the stem... it start's smiling... and finally it will look like it say's WOW hehe ... i'll love those tree's ... if 3 plant's get's legit next year... you can imagine ... Size Matter's hehe

thx ..yes that was the idea for this place... was looking long time on Google Earth to find a spot where in autumn also the sun shines ;-) ... and a water source for summer ... have a manual boat pump to get water ... worked well this hot summer... before my spot where in freeway junction's ... can see that now on google earth ... the plants from a few years ago haha ... perfect place... water was also there and tree's around... nobody visit this place until winter... police fly over it but never checked ... because it's so unusual... but that matters... hehe ... can highly recommend those spots ;-)

happy growin'

if you looking for a good spot to plant many plants ... this is the place... sun, water and nobody see the plants... we have many many here... sometimes you have to walk a little... but if you there ... it's sooo cool... gave me everytime a big smile... and a big fxxk you to da police... this place get's only visited in winter and spring... rest is freedom... no hunters no farmers no walkers.. and you can maintain the place and make it your own... not too much but enough to have a great sunny place... eg cut tree's and make nice plots...
Bildschirmfoto 2023-08-23 um 11.41.07.png

if i'll look back... it soo exiting and funny and damn good spot... always best time to visit ... @ night or evening ... but did also a lot in summer... not much traffic... and loved to watch the plants and smoke one ...
proud like a cock standing there with a smile from ear to ear ... in the hope Google take a picture with me @ my spot ... but never happend... only the plants...
good luck

Sorry to hear about the rats eating at the stems. I apply Liquid Fence brand Deer and Rabbit repellent as a perimeter spray around the garden every week after watering and also after rains. It says its rain resistant, but I apply more. There are also pepper based ones. Plant should survive, it looks like.
