...It's been more than 6 years since I found he abandoned, Patrón...
...Ahora tengo un amigo, que no lo tiene cualquiera...

I have met a friend at the school gate... ...At the school gate; he always comes with me and waits for me at the gate... I have met a friend that not everyone has it... ...That not everyone has it...: I look at him through the window and does not move away for a second; a dog is my great friend, for others the vagabond...

And I want to take it even if my mother scolds me, that a friend is a friend and it is not left on the street.

I will take it to my house even if my father doesn't want to... ...Although my father doesn't want to; and I will tell him with these words that I learned from him: "my son to a good friend give him the shelter you can" ...Give him what shelter you can: to the one who abandons a dog to your adventurous luck I threw it out on the street without having anyone who wanted it.

And I'm going to keep it although my father does not want that a friend is a friend and it is not left on the street.

...Sure you have forgiven the one who wanted to abandon him... ...To the one who wanted to abandon him, to the wind, the heat and the cold, to contempt and mistreatment, and rummage through the trash when the cats left...; When the cats left...
Today have left school and he wasn't expecting me...: my mother in my gate I was caressing it...

We are going to keep it!! My parents have told me: that a friend is a friend and it is not left on the street.

Now I'm lucky of me having him by my side... ...Of me having him by my side...; he looks for me at recess, leaning over the gate, and defends me if a child wants to take my backpack... ...to take my backpack...
I ask him what is his name and barking he answers me: "I am no longer the bum; Now I have my name."

We are going to keep it!!; My parents have told me: that a friend is a friend and it is not left on the street.

These are my five female Honduran Jamaicans from TychoMonolith, they're all in the early stages of flowering. I have two males as well, in a different location thats far enough away to prevent incidental pollination. The one here that's 2nd from left is now the tallest plant I've ever grown outdoors in a 2 gallon container and it's still stretching like mad, it already about 6' above the top of the soil. I have all the branches trimmed off the bottom 2 feet or so of it, which probably helps with the height. I like tall plants where I'm at because the sun rises over a barrier, so the taller the plants are, the more early morning sun they get.

Had several rains this week, with a total of 2.6-3 inches in the rain gauge, so don't need to water. Want to know how strong God, is? He waters the mountains! :smoke:

The plants are pretty uniform, flowering along well! Most have little pea sized flowers and are going to be done early to mid october, but there are a couple that are struggling to get started. Its always a gradation, but there is 1 maybe 2 Deep Chunk x Blueberry that are slow to begin flower, and there are 3-4 Deep Chunk x Las Vegas Purple Kush x Hindu Kush that are slow. Because there are so many, I am not thinking about not pulling them, and just taking a chance on the weather. Last year we had several killing frosts The second week of October and I was glad I pulled some of the slow to flower ones.

Forecast for next week we have some unusually cool weather coming in with a high on Tuesday of just 73 F. May be indicating an early frost again in a couple months. Average first frost here is about Oct 20.

It hurts pulling big plants, but if they aren't going to flower and finish on time in this shady spot, they don't do any good. Its pretty ruthless, but it lets sunlight in so the other earlier plants produce better quality flowers, and improves air circulation to reduce mold. Its on test seed though, so I will probably be more lenient and let them flower out, to see how they do.

When I chop I like to do it all at once if possible, but I could do a staggered harvest where I maybe take the tops off these late flowering plants if needed and let the rest of the plant continue to mature.

What do you think? Reverend was saying most plants get started flowering about this time of year. There is a possibility they will catch up once they get started being so large. Not any stacking on some though, not sure when to draw the line and cull them to make room for the other early producers. :smoke:

Paradise Cheese x Hindu Kush-- Got my tester! Saw a spot on a flower stem that started getting the beginning of disease where I had removed a leaf, so clipped it out and got a couple tester flowers! Smells wonderful and potent, similar resin profile to some of my sativa leaning plants. :smoke:

Energy Turtle-- Love that Purple Urkle! I heard it can be difficult to grow or slow. Looks like those are pretty vigorous and doing well! Nice garden! Is no till where you just set the pot on the soil and let the roots go into the ground on their own? Describe a little bit about your no-till methods, if you could please. Happy plants! smoke:

I work the soil less deep than I used to now, just a shovel deep, nothing special. Used to go 1.5 feet deep, but that brings up some heavy clay which isn't very fertile and has poor drainage.

In grow bags I fill them with amended potting soil then top dress or tea feed rabbit manure when the plant (soil) gets hungry.
I harvest in the grow bags and leave the stalk and roots in them until they break down.
The grow bags below are three years old and are ready for to be planted in September for a November harvest. I don't intentionally grow a cover crop in the grow bags though weed seeds makes it way in them. I'm hunting for a purple Urkle keeper and I'm really hoping the bigger plants smoke the best. I'm afraid by clone the smaller plants would be QP yielders.

Lrus007--Did you get some rain on them or is it just residual soil moisture? Looking great! With enough sunlight, the plant can send roots to find water.

Energy Turtle--Thanks, so you reuse them each year, and also replant with clones after harvest for a 2nd crop September to November? Love your basic methods. Less is more sometimes. They don't seem to have any deficiencies. Maybe your native soil is fertile there, trees are doing well in it. Love to see them grow in the filtered light. :smoke:
