Hi folks!

Guerilla is going really well this year.. The leaders of the pack are the Thai Chi (ACE). Just about as tall as us right now, and still plenty of Veg to go!

For you out door lovers. Here's what's happening things weekend, top it goodd, red triangle is getting fully. Also will be lollipopping the top. I fell the tension lol. But here me out, I don't expect it to be done until October. We get losts of cold ran.

By l lollipopping the tops we reduce mold risk. By chopping the bottom. Lol all the energy should go to the lollipops😂 my girl wrote this because I could write lollipocile that many time🤣. Also it's absorbed 30gallon of nute plus rain in about 3 days🤑🥺 the neighbors gonna have to cover the nute cost lmao

How does it taste? Had a Thai once, had super sweet pineapple taste and smell, don’t remember the exact strain no more
It's a complex taste so not easy to describe, but it shares similarities with Kali China so the most interesting nuances come from the China Yunnan I guess. Sweet and sour, tropical fruit, their website also describes it as grilled liver which sounds funny but is surprisingly accurate. Some carnic terpenes for sure, and combined with the tropical fruit makes for a unique mix that reminds me of Thai cuisine. My Kali Chinas and Thai Chis tasted quite similar but Thai Chi had the most interesting sativa effect. Kali China's effect was more boring.

Looking excellent @Funkalicious, Thai Chi is a great hybrid, very vigorous, great authentic sativa effect and unique taste that is very different to the bullshit they sell to kids nowadays (y)
I was already hyped as hell.. Now I'm howling at the harvest moon. Praying for a healthy harvest!! We should have some phat jars seeing how these girls are growing, got eight of them.

Guerilla taught me.. Anything can happen.. Not over until its drying on the clothes line!

Exactly, been burned too many times by now.
How was the yield on your Thai Chi?

We have lots of strains in the woods! Erdpurt, ErdbeerX, Cheese mostly, then some Creamy Kees, Bella, Zorro, Watermelon Skittles and a Gelato!

It's a good yielding plant. Not bred for that of course but productive enough. Curious to see how they do in a guerilla situation.

I'm a fan of Erdpurt as well haha. Great Afghan.

She's got a 'busy' structure with leaves and branches popping out all over the place, definitely could use pruning and leafing or you're get little tip doinkles and not much else. The idea that removing all the lower branches is going to cause the top to grow more works indoors, because the light intensity is higher at the top of the plant. It doesn't work that way outdoors because the light that hits the bottom is just as strong as at the top. My plants' produce a lot from the lower limbs independently from how the top does. Chopping off the lower limbs doesn't cause the top colas to get any larger or more productive. Each limb is it's on independent energy generator.

I'm talking about the major lower limbs, not the little scraggy ones. If you're growing in a container with limited space and fertilizer you may want the plant to focus it's growth on the limbs you're encouraging. Removing limbs is damaging the plant, causing wounds, and they can get infected by mold and bacteria. Happens to me every year

With this leafy monster I'd give it an even thinning from top to bottom. Enough that light penetrates down the length of each branch. Remove a bunch of the subdivisions. But we all do things differently, it'll be interesting to see how things turn out. There certainly isn't a 'right way' or a book on how to perfectly prune a ganja plant, and every plant is different. Hopefully you can post pictures after stretch and at harvest.

Well I don't think my palate is out of the ordinary or anything 🤷‍♂️ I do pay a lot of attention though. Also I have been vaping mostly for the past several years which I think helps pick out the nuances. When I smoke bowls, everything tastes more alike.

This morning I was drinking my coffe in the garden and I happened to see this white butterfly flying around, and a wasp come straight towards it, intercept it, drive it to the ground, and start eating it. Sounds mundane but it was pretty badass to see and I may have caught myself cheering a little bit 😳

I have been getting more into pollinators for the last few years, and I have seen wasps carry budworms to their house before, but never saw a full on interception of a butterfly before haha. That's another handful of eggs that won't be laid in my plants I assume 💪

You probably can but haven't really tried it much maybe? Are you a foodie? I think there could be a similarity to food. I'm kind of a pig so I could smell a truffle under a tree probably 🐷🐷

We don’t get enough monarchs or swallowtails but when I do see them it’s always special
They are pretty but when I see them and moths, all I can think about is this lol

Looking great CFL! Bounced back well! Learned a little lesson on that one. I don't think you would want it too much bigger anyway would be more prone to breakage. Are you doing any supports stakes? Looks strong enough as is.

Hey Mountain Outlaw nice garden! Not sure if you are growing those in that spot, but it looks like moss which would indicate low light/ shade. This would prevent the plants from branching out, so it may not be a great representation of what it would do under lights in a SOG.

Looking great though, got some plants growing in the ground?
Oh yes got some in ground and these are all late starts.
I got 13.33 gal containers, 5 gal fabric for autos and rest in ground.
I get nearly all day sun in the above spot, then evening shade. Been a rough start so this is just some hobby efforts.

Will update with pics as time progresses
