Maff x Zacateca Tribute not messing around. Serious smoke. Not sure what to call the cross yet, maybe Holy Freeze (Zacateca Tribute is Oaxacan x Big Sur Holy weed which is (Zacateca Purple x mazar)). Any other ideas for a name? Plants weren't really purple so Purple Freeze not gonna work I think. Freeza? Of the first 3 varieties harvested and made into hash this is my fav so far. We'll see how things stand next spring after a full fall/winter of testing~~~~~~~~~

Well now I fully understand why the name Lilacghani was chosen. The buds looks like clusters of fkin lilacs. Pinks, reds, purples. I had no idea they would get this purple. I don't grow ornamentals but the color is beautiful. I knew the Lavendar side of the family had some purpling of the leaves but geez this thing has purpled up my cross of Somango 47 and Lilacghani. Total surprise purple. In the images for Lilacghani seeds they don't show the crazy purple phenos. And it seems to be dominant. In the cross more than half were purple buds, but less intense than the pure Lilacghanis.

These BlueV2's don't look too bad either! They are just a limited release of Blue Velvet that is supposed to be Purple Thai leaning I think. DJ Short genetics or the new brand New World whatever.

I only had 1 of these survive so I will be drying it and not fresh freezing it to make hash. I will let it dry, then crumble all bud up and soak in Everclear.

Can't wait to grow the seeds next year. Will be fun to find out who pollinated it, my Zen Kush, my Somaster, or the Philippine Kibugan. Probably pollinated by at least 2 of those. Originally I wanted to pollinate it with a landrace Thai but didn't get the seeds in time.

The bud structure is nice, a bit small but not too small for me. Thin but tight/dense. Nice smells of course and purples. Branches were a little to easy to break but the plant does grow with a nice upright habit. Really can't wait to grow a bunch of the seeds of this next year. Should get some crazy stuff out of it. I'm giving it another week. Seems more sativa than regular blueberry

Super Sativa Skunks. I might change the name to Skunkapulco because it matches the plant better. Smells and grows like the Acapulco but bulked up by the Skunk/Balkh. All the early purple has disappeared!!! Even though we are in the 30/40s at night here. Looks like classic 90's buds. nice density, very resistant, but pretty long flowering. Will finish in a week outdoors. So far looks like a great cross for me, but I've not tried the buds yet. Again, this is Snow High's Coco Loco x Khalifa Genetics freebie SSSC Skunk x Balkh afghan landrace.

Here is the other Super Sativa Skunk or Skunkapulco. This one is 10ft+. Smells like Acapulco, flowery, cherry cola in there some, glue, incense, hashy, so goooooooooooood and not like all this skunky/fruity junk nowadays very different. Some of these buds are pretty chunky~~ Usually I don't think you can assume what the effect of a new cross will be like but these small so much like the Acapulco I'm confident they will be like that. Which is sooooo good. I know familiar with the Coco Loco and the Skunk Balkh so I'm pretty confident the cross can only be good. Best direction it could go in is the Acapulco. Sunshine in a jar baby. This stuff will get me through any winter haha

Beautiful flowers! Interesting cultivars!

Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the support. Just a backyard grower. To me, it's more fun to make my own crosses rather than just grow the latest trend. It's a way better feeling when you create something new that is awesome than just trying to ride coattails or hot trends. Cheaper too~~~~ I'll keep trying to get rare interesting cultivars to play with.

Next year is
Cinex
Blue V2 crosses
Super Sativa Skunk Critical
Some other random stuff

I have some Chilean landrace and some Manipur seeds that are interesting genetics I need to grow out eventually.
