Dunno about asparagus but in this case I don't think it will take months to see if it makes it or withers away. For sure it will grow roots from the buried part of the stalk if it makes it.

Orient express clémentine/mandarina pheno, super fruity, not the best yielder (I have another pheno yielding twice) but very resinous and super terpy. I didn’t know that OE can be so fruity. The other pheno best yielding smell also tangy/fruity but with something else darker.

I now buried the plant with only the head above the soil like @goingrey said... i think it's the only chance that it can survive, maybe it will grow some roots.

I think she's saved...maybe she won't take off right away and needs to get roots out of the broken part...but if she looks happy tomorrow, then he'll surely survive...

Unfortunately there was mold on the plant, i think because of the one rotten leaf... and when i looked for the stem it seems it was also ripped of underneath the soil. The two green leaves also started to rot. So i throw plant and soil away.
