Sorry that it not worked out for you...
Maybe you are just too much used to smoking super potent cookie gorilla superhero nuclear strike kush strains!? Too high tolerance or you have to open your mind, i don't know. But i know OE is not advertised as such potent strain, it's different like most landraces which are not only breeded for potency and bag appeal like many commercial strains.

I just germinated my OE fem. seed, it will be the 3rd strain i grow from ACE. I had Panama and Malawi x NL(also made a new strain with it) and the plants and final products were exactly as advertised, including the high, bud structure etc. Very honest on point breeding. :)

Hi, after many more weeks and a good curing, I am back.

It's nice that you're assuming something about what I am used to or how closed minded I might be.
But I gotta tell you that after several dozens of joints and Vapes shared with several other people:

My 2 Orient Express ladies are a total disappointment still.
No THC in those mofos. Or max ~2% I'd say.

I made canna oil with the trimmings (with a lot of bud overhead, I trimmed them thoroughly).
And guess what:
I used 250ml of oil and to get high from this, I needed ~8-10ml. (and I'm not even smoking/vaping daily rn)

The last time I made oil from trimmings some years ago with also around 250ml of oil, I needed ~0,5-1ml for a good high. (I was smoking a lot back then, 3 vapes per day were pretty common)

So that was the last nail in the coffin for all the weird arguments I heard in this thread.

Two plants from feminized Orient Express grew into plants that had almost no THC.
I have basically proven it to myself now and if no one wants to believe it, I couldn't care less.

I would definitely warn anybody, who wants to get their fingers on this strain though, cause it seems the genetics aren't stable at all. (2-16% THC possible, what the heck)

Not trying to hate here, but I would have never believed something like this to be in the realm of possibility. ^^
I didn't grow for years for specific reasons and had a jump-start decision last year to JUST DO IT. :muahaha:
Had to reinvest a lot for equipment and with higher energy cost and a big light setup, this grow was my most prestigious yet.
I was so happy that at least I had a high from the oil I made, since not getting high from the big amount of sticky I have now, really broke my heart. 😭
I hope no one else has to share this experience, enjoy the good potent Orient Express you guys get... :canabis:

I took her down today, 87 days flowering, last 2 weeks 11/13 and she just kept going, but definitely ripe. She has the most amazing smells, something sweet and ???(I thought of what it was the other day, but being a stoner and having not written it down, I can’t for the life of me remember.)

Sorry again for your disappointment @Nizla sounds like you got high CBD phenos from your Orient Express plants. We try to be as much as transparent and accurate as possible with our strain descriptions, i'm sorry you didn't realize that Orient Express description on our website states on our the possibility of such CBD phenos.

I grew a beautiful OE and put her into jars about a week ago, chopped at 9.5 weeks, a little early but my tomatillo hybrid project took priority. The aroma is floral forward with honeysuckle and geranium/spring flowers, and is balanced with some sort of a musky tire sitting in the sun. Can't really describe it but it's a really unique smell for me and she stunk louder than anything else I was growing so I've been blown away by this plant.

Needs cure time for the high, but to me it feels THC dom with a really clear, focused high. Taste on smoking reminds me of humid summer nights in the Southern US, really reminiscent for me. It's a lovely morning in the garden after a joint of OE. The plant size got away from me and I didn't have room to up-pot so she had a lot more yield to give I think, but I'm still really pleased with her. Thanks again to ACE for another win, smoke report in few months.

Thanks to you @early_hominid for chim in! :) Love the way you put your experience with Orient Express into words!By the sound of its terpene profile and effects, sounds like the classic organic, herbal, wet forest OE of kind and well focused sativa effects that enhances every activity. Enjoy!

Looks divine and almost done @El Timbo :dance013:

Very curious about this one!
Recently harvested my 2 fem. OE: one forrest, bark smelling Vietnam Black leaning pheno, and one sweet & sour, orange smelling, China Yunnan leaning pheno.

Just wondering, is there any indication which pheno is more likely to be THC-dominant, or to be more likely having relevant CBD content?

Cheers!

Classic looking sativa dom OE pheno @El Timbo :D Are you already starting to enjoy it ?

Glad to hear you have just harvested a couple @Felice each one leaning to each parent plant for terpenes, the forest smelling to Vietnam Black and the sweet and sour to the Chinese. The chemotype in this case is not heavily linked to visual or aromatic traits, let us know your insights about them when you give them a try!
