I have one growing that's around the 3rd week of 12/12.
A friend asked me if I could fix him up with the smoke that he had while stationed in Vietnam in 1970, and this is the strain that was recommended to me. Can anyone verify that this is what he's looking for?

This is an outstanding variety. I'm smoking some 5 month aged stuff tonight and she's just hitting her stride. Very interesting spicey, funky incense and body odor muskiness. Very pleasant clear high, got some power to it. I never have more than a small bowl and it puts me in a nice spot.

Hi BeaverIslander,

Orient Express is our main hybrid based on vietnamese genetics, although it also contains yunnan indica chinese genetics, as stated in the description of the strain.

The Orient Express regular version is more vietnamese sativa dominant while the feminized version leans a bit more towards chinese indica phenos.

Hope you enjoy growing her and hopefully the smoke bring nice memories to your friend.

Here is a fem seed OE.
It was vegged under LED's for 10 weeks then moved to 12/12 under Cree COB's and started flowering 3 weeks ago. (has been under 12/12 for 4.5 weeks.)
I didn't get much stretch so she's on the small side but I'm seeing pics of some nice big buds from others
