Just kick it on the forum for a while and be a sponge. Post pics and ask questions if u cant find the answer. And the best ..most fun part is touching and bending and topping and etc (I fing hate trimming hahah)..and thats where your learn the most as well.
Most important thing to remember is dont give up no matter how discouraged you may become. If everyone grew the bees knees the disp. would all be extinct. :)

Ya 400 in there and a 600 outdoor modified shed with a dual split ac. Ill move into the 600 shed either week 2 or 4. All my stuff is getting to big in veg (I dont usually grow this eradicaly) so my prepetual 2 plant every 2 week harvest is going to b a little off timing wise for a bit due to my arm and outside temps. I will work it out. And once I can get a few more out of veg ill be able to start training better ...and try to get more light to the bottom.
1 goji og already rooted in dome :)
To much moving..I want to be able to flush easily if needed and too many diff strains for a scrog in my opinion.
I usually use tomatoe cages for stability but I wasnt sure if I was gonna stay in #2 gal or not ..and now its a bit late. Bamboo stix for me... but ill be able to deal with that much better in a month or so.
Have a good weekend to all.

Anyone have any tricks for holding up heavy branches? I dont really wanna put stakes into my medium right now and some of my stems are starting to sag bad. 3-4 weeks left so im gonna need to figure out something. Tying to the top of the tent isnt an option either

Build a frame work to tie up to. Or build a screen or sturdy cage to put around them. Tie back to the main stem. Theres a few for ya.

Really tryin to tie them to anything will probably be trouble for me because I have to move them to deal with runoff...im guessing I need to maybe build some kind of box to sit the plants on so the runoff can collect underneath then I can tie them to something. I get paranoid every time I move them anymore

Tomato cages would be your best bet but they have to be put on before bloom:biggrin: You have a couple options still at this point without tying down to the tent.
1) You can duct tape two stakes to the outside of the container and then tie off branches.
2) Wrap around the plant a few turns with twine so the whole plant carries the weight.
3) Sharpen stakes and put them on the edges inside the pot. Sharp stakes will separate the roots mostly instead of mashing them.
I would go with #1-duct tape is your friend and that's the way I would go unless you have fabric pots.:tiphat:

Go right around the pot and stakes with the duct tape several times and secure them good. Duct tape+heat+weight will make the duct tape fail in a matter of hours if you skimp on the duct tape.

I would really just go with some stakes in the medium if u have to move them. Ur going to cause minimal damage compared to not supporting the colas. Or build something stationary, and us drip trays and shop vac it. It sucks but it will get u thru the run.

Haaa they use duct tape to make repairs on bush planes when they have minor crashes here. One old guy out hunting on atv got mauled bad by a Grizz, lots of wounds and half his head skin and a ear was laying on a shoulder. He duck taped his skin and ear to his head and taped up all his other gashes and drove himself 30 miles back to the nearest road:biggrin:

Chem d ,goji, a heavy og and the cheese (in coco) all rooted. The coco cheese looks burnt but I think im gonna keep the vortex over it anyways. 2 more in dome un rooted if I do want it. I accidently suppercropped my louie tre to hard and broke 2 tops which I guess is ok cuz the height issues in veg right now..but since no nodes exposed I scraped the sides and used root burst and rapid rooters and into the dome. That root burst is the bees knees.
Everything looks great Inside.. ill post pics in a day or 2.
These r pics of the 2 gojis I saved that r outdoor (1 in Coco on 4.5/7 and 1 in promix which I reduced t0.9 ec using a 3/6 ratio.
The other 4 are master kushes I saved from 3x3 tent with 150w hps in it early on. Outside stuff im just messing arou d with but these gojis might actually push something out. Well c.

Heat is finally calming down so I cant start moving stuff around. 3 weeks in...I went to 6/9 and didnt chk for 2 days and the master larry is showing signs of burned leaves..ohh well. Tonite ill do a good feed with xtra run off and put the chez chemd and master larry under the 600 and move some others into 3 x 3 under the 400.
Vortex showing signs of mag deff so i bumped it to 6/9 for 1 feed and ill go back to 1.2 ec and watch em. I think if feeding every day or multiple times a day 1.2 is the max for most of my strains..at least under the 400. Maybe under the 600 it will take a higer ec better.

Ohh and one of my fire og in veg was lavishily lounging right on my t5 bulbs so it got a little sun burned.
I slowly get to get out of my sling now so I can start training and clonening etc etc.
Im gonna test 3/4.5 out on a few newly rooted clones and go up from there.
L8rs guys and girls.

Remember that half strength is better used for if ur rooting in coco to keep the cec correct, or if ur medium has a salt buildup and u want to reduce. Other wise full strength or right around there, is safe all the way through as soon as they have any roots. that half strength early like that might not keep them happy.

the 6/9 feed strategy is already half strength compared to all other nutrient manufacturer recommendations. So reducing it that much can cause deficiencies.

I feed my freshly rooted clones 6/9 or maybe only 10 to 20% less strength, and they love it.

If u want to do ur half strength test that's fine, but I ask u to do half those clones at full strength or a touch less and compare to ur half strength and see which take off quicker.

That's not what I see reading the GH recommended feed. The highest they recommend on micro and bloom is 4/8 and that's late bloom. 1/4/5 to 1/4/6 early to mid bloom, the 1 being floragro. I guess they also recommend their liquid koolbloom which puts the bloom right up there near 9. Maybe using 2ml more micro makes up for 1 ml gro but in no way is 6/9 much less than their schedule feeds.
