ON THAT COCO S#@*

When u argue about the blanket statements it takes away from what I wanted to point out is a lot of the time its an environmental issue, or watering issue, or something else causing the prob. That's my opinion. Ive played with the extra mg and it never fixed my prob, it always came down to something else I was doing.

My louie tre og is either showing signs of over fert on 6/9..or lack of mag but I see a few tips very slightly crisp. I reduced feed to 1.2 ec so if it continues ill know it was mag and not over fert. Another thing is under t5s I saw a couple of plants burning on 6/9 I believe. Really green and slight claw with a touch of tip burn. The problem solving is fun but .. I need to get sum jars filled already dammit lol :) jk . Its all fun. Even when im 100% wrong it just means us growers as a whole r closer to a stable answer.

P.s. debating is cool on my thread guys..thats what all of this is about. Everyone has different issues every grow.. every strain..everytime.(even if sealed up:..too much co2 ,not enough co2 for that strain this time of year, when to reduce co2 etc)Nothing is guaranteed in farming/gardening my friends.
Ty everyone for your input

Now that I think of it the chem dz havent looked particularly happy on the 6/9 either. Theyre super green and not quite as perky as id like (maybe transplant helps all) . Those chem dz r like carbage disposals too.

if your plant is overfed - give it plain water - it will not mess up the "CEC" it will cause the plant to use the excess - check out a grower named Zoolander....famous for this...lot's of coco "myths" man.

would be nice to get clarification on this but according to Zoolander - plain water in coco is fine when a plant looks overfed...don't flush , just water with a little runoff...

If they are deep green I usually just reduce the concentration, but u can try backing off the micro which will reduce ur N. I like if im using 1.2ec and they are dark trying 1.0ec.

What are u spraying for, I hate spraying anything, unless its needed for bugs or pm. Ur using 6/9 right. This is where people usually exasperate a prob. Cause u already got the elements u need, so its something else not letting them get it, that's what u have to change, not the npk.

One can only assume foliar feeding to alleviate a nutrient deficiency while or before soil bound solutions are applied, or another factor causing the deficiency is problem solved.

Cloudy the feeding with water I believe is a last resort..kinda like you can get away with it if you dont have run off cuz its just diluting the stuff already in the coco. But my thoughts on this r... if a lot of something (lets say iron) was used and now I diluted the little bit it has left..then im kinda asking for a deff. I feel it would be more safe to dilute a new batch of nutes or mix lower ratios so that way I have a fresh new start.

Moving on chk it out. Veg stuff is all good and so is the flower tent. No broads for sure so good to go. It was the spray being heavy but im ok with that.Clones r perky, veg is perking up and my flower tent is getting structure. Toped and supercroped. Been feedn 4.5/7 which gets me to 1.2 with dc.. without dumpimg nutes out . Ill stick their for a while but in the next few feeds Ill bump flower tent to 6/9 full blast under the 400w hortilux eye fo 4 weeks then to the outside shed with the 600w hotilux eye for the last 6 wks. Every 2 weeks 2 more go in. Sloppy beginning to a prepetual but my jars are soo lonely.if pics dont post ill put em up manana or next.

All is well in weeds world. The leaf deff. Is on the louie and I see it on the vortex as well.
Looks to be clearing out as all new growth is green and loving life.. and if I had to guess.. nute burn which locked out mag. Something like that. All pants on1.2 ec 5.8 ph. Sorry for the hps pic...my timing was off as all this coco watering with no run off has cut my tent time down by 50% at least.
Heavy og in flower showed a fake deff. for 1 sec. as it too was a little sensetive to the bug spray (only on 1 of the 2) . 6/9 seems to be a little to heavy for me under the t5s on some strains so 1.2 has been soild for everything
Keep at it guys.
Peace.

The gojis I saved are outdoor..comming aroud..and starting flowering. These will b done halfassed to say the least but well see hat happens. Gotta put yourself out there in order to really learn. 1 is in promix hp ..the other is in coco. Once stretch is finished ill prob feed with no run off using dc in order to figure out how long I can do it before seeing deficiencies or salt build up. L8rs all
P.s. goji in promix not likeing the 1.2 ec so I might drop it due to dark green clawed leafs and possibley do a 1/2 ratio instead of 2/3 that most of us like in coco.

Hey bro promix is peat isn't it. If so don't treat it like coco I think. Im no expert on peat but I think u need a soil feeding strategy. Like feed once and water twice and back to feed. Also it needs soil npk, not the adjusted ca, mg, and K, like coco needs. Id look this up cause im not positive but that's what sticks out to me. Actually that 1/2 ratio sounds right. Now u just gotta figure out how often u feed vs just watering.

Cheese coco is not that hard it just has a tiny learning curve to get over.
Their is a lot of help here for any media you grow in.
Soil is not a bad place to start since it has a little more error room than coco.
Best of luck cheese..thanks for stopping in and holla if u have any questions.

If youre brand new to growing I would definitely recommend soil first. Get that down then switch to coco or dwc or something. Coco threw me for a loop but I am learning more everyday. Im about a month into flowering on my first coco grow and I can honestly say Ill never use anything else.
