Wise or wives'... it depends.

An "Old Wise Tale" would be some story with a solid moral at the end that imbues some sort of wiseness on its audience. The story of Icarus is something I might consider an "Old Wise Tale."

An "Old Wives Tale" for me is a bit of gossip, hearsay, or word-of-mouth wisdom passed down. I prefer them to be untrue as well. Something like being vaccinated will give you autism, or watching the water will keep it from boiling, as Old Wives' Tales for me. If it depends on confirmation bias then it's a wive's tale.

If an Old Wive's Tale turns out to be correct, like putting your face in the freezer to stop from crying when chopping onions (or putting a pickle under your tongue), then for me it becomes an Old Wise Tale.

So basically, if it makes me smarter then it's a "wise" tale = Theory/Law
If it makes me dumber then it's a "wives'" tale = Hypothesis/Concept

Stiches out today so I finally get to take a full shower. I smell like a dirty ass neglected dwc reservoivor with root rot . If all goes well and I get a shower ill take individual pics of all the plants to show their progress. Lets hope my non showering hippie binge is over finally.

These r pics of things that r a little messed up right now. Chem ds that were really bad are back and showing light green throughout so its time to bump up to 6/9. The vortex and 1 louie r showing yellowing on top so ill let them dry out a bit too make sure its not overwatering and then ill bump them to 6/9 as well if its not. The 2 cheese were showing that wierd zinc deff. but thats when they were in rockwool cubes before the transplant. (Transplanting from rockwool to coco with no hiccups at all. Didnt miss a step) all new growth looks good so I think were ok there 2. The worst one is the goji og...but its on a comeback with all new growth green so the minute I feel comfortable ill take some clones and toss it.
4 mk are in the 3x3 (no pics) lagging prob cuz I went from solo to 3 gal to quick but whatever im over this strain and not rgaf. If they come back ill flower em but if they get in the way lll just toss em (juggling for the ground space). Sorry for not so close of pics I was hurting.

These r overall pics..and overall were doing good. I just sprayed with neem and pyrethrin so thats 3 times in 2 weeks and I feel confident that all pests ..big or small are now gone and were completely clean. Im cool with all progress. On the chem d that were messed up I see light green and a little mag deff but with the boost to 6/9 I think that should take care of that. So if pla ts are stalled out with no tip burn and all looks good then bump up and if showing light green and a mag deff. id bump up. If it was only a mag deff id think about epsom salt but since I see both and I know chem d is a piggy ill do the bump to 6/9. Thats it for me folks.
Happy the stiches r out and happy to be mostly showered up.

what kinda coco u using. Is it the fine coffee ground shit.

hardly ever go to much lower than that 6/9 concentration or the cec will get outa wack.

Canna..its between coffe and stringy. Taking about 2 1/2 days to dry out right now. Itz all good. I will chk on sunday and plants will tell me the answer themselves. My hydro store guy (owner) is my friend so i just took what he reccomended .
