Love and long life to Oldtimer Haze

I made last year a reproduction of OldTimer Haze from Ace Seeds, and get very special plants, from purple, to green, and intermediated. I loved so much one in special, was green and had incensed and metal smell. This year I plant lot more of OTH and will give her a proper space. The evolution and adaptation to my land climate go so good!!

Also growing Tom Hill Haze and plan to make cross,

Here some OTH:

And here some Tom Hill Haze that comes from Gypsy Nirvana

The Tom Hill Haze smells more like lemon
Will come back with more pictures of OTH next days. Wish you best flowers and high, and safe growing session!!

I make my own nutes and the pH changes back to center after brewing in a vortex brewer with microbes for 24hrs. The soil usually sits about 5.9-6.2 the whole time. This is my tea mix for when they start to feed in veg and the bigger they get you can double everything that goes into the water. I alternate feedings and watering and in veg I use this tea on one feeding and the next feeding I use fresh nettle/clover/ryegrass ferment and homemade calmag.
1 cup worm castings
1/2 cup alfalfa meal
1/4 cup kelp
2 gallons of de-chlorinated water

What do you feed during bloom? How often? Alternating plain water and do you ph your feeds?

Considering cracking a few more to check out. I'd like to see what the green phenos have to offer.

I have an old timers haze from ace going outdoors in Florida I dug a hole filled with fox farms and filmed it once so I have 2 main stalks going now, it went past 6 feet so I cut it and started bending it down, the plantt appears healthy but I still see no signs of flowers starting, I cut out the Alaska fish juice 3 weeks ago and started giving it light P-K but it seems to be slowed down but still no buds or balls. I’m wondering if I have to get less than 12 hours of sun?

It should start soon or it may already be in flower sometimes it takes 2 or three months to really see it start flowering and gain weight it's mid August start of flowers in Spain Florida is further south in latitude so it takes 2 or 4 weeks more to start flowering so from now till mid month then finish mid December but your more south so plan for a January or February harvest most likely jan1 2021 it depends on the flower time because some go 26 weeks
So everything is normal keep doing what you're doing
This is all from observation and reading others experience and the breeder advice
If it's a male flower it and collect and dry the pollen then freeze it the male will be done by December probably start October mid October to drop pollen if it's a male wash it with iso you cant still squeeze a good high from the stem leaf and make flowers especially the ones that are freshly open and fall to the ground

Thanks, this is the first 100% sativa I have ever seriously grown, no smell on stem rub but didn’t really expect that. I’ll post a pic tomorrow since I have tied it down there is many more nodes for sure, if it turns out make I will save that pollen for some indica dominant fem. thank you.

Yes flower will start soon about two weeks so next month for sure you will know I hope it's a female I think it's female because a male will start flower now it's just theory though but you should be able to see preflowers by now check everywhere in the nodes and it should grow even more at this point actually it's going to stretch for about two months so mid late November it will stop growing and start getting fatter if not then mid December it gets fatter and you harvest about two months after it starts to bulk up so yes about Jan 1st unless you have all white hairs at that point then you go longer to February 1st
So if it starts about Sept 21st most likely it's 4 months that puts you at Jan 21st plus or minus two weeks depends how the plant looks it could go an extra month or two actually but most the time it's 4 months

Moved 5 OTH into the greenhouse a few weeks ago. They aren't sexually stable yet but the clones took and I only have so much space. I know Dubi recommends culling the seedlings and growing from clone in order to shave 2-3 weeks off of the flowering time but I always finish out my seeds.

My OTH in pre- flower

My OTH in pre- flower

This baby had to get tied down to the ground, now the main stalk and 3 side branches have offshoots reaching for the sky too. I have a feeling within the next 2 weeks the flowers will start, I have slowed down on the N and am feeding light PK with a dusting of gypsum on the top dressing. I wish I had some pollen from any 50/50 hybrid to do my first pollen chuck. Anyways I’m sure I’m in the right place. I can’t wait to get more ace gear. For the winter

Beautiful, Beanzy. You can see all the stalked resin up and down the stems. I’ll be keeping an eye on this one for sure.

Thank you. I love looking through your pics Ur Humble Nr8tor. After I moved these into flower I checked out your OTH album from 10 years ago. Amazing.

This has been about two years in the making for me. I had the seeds then but really wanted to be sure that I could properly handle long flowering sativas so I grew through all of the F1 Haze crosses from Ace that I could get my hands on (I am finally going to get to test Green Honduras Haze against Purple Honduras Haze this season) and then a lot of their other stock before deciding I was ready for the challenge.

It feels really good to finally have these in flower.

Thank you Sir, I had these seeds for 3 years and I love old sativas. There is no discernible smell on the stem rub yet. I haven’t had a chance to visit the plants for 2 weeks but there has been plenty rain. I am hoping to post some pics of flowers next. Here is 2 weeks ago.

Yes, I wouldn’t expect much aromas just yet. Wait until flowering is well underway.

Thanks. Crazy it was 10 years ago with some of those old haze seeds. The pure OTH is jungly in growth but it’s effects are so sublime...especially green phenos IMO. I was gifted some green and purple Honduras hazes and need to see what they hold in store. In the meantime, I’m expecting a very large yield from my Purple Haze x Malawi.

Hola ankhori!

Thanks a lot for the feedback :) Glad you had the chance to experience different Oldtimer's Haze phenotypes last season and that you reproduced them
I would focus on the offspring from your favorite ones, although to get seeds from as many different parental plants as possible is always a good thing for mid-long term breeding and preservation goals.

I'm so focused with our ACE lines that i seldom have time to explore others genetics, but for what i've have had the chance to smoke and seen from other ICMag members Tom Hill's Haze is excellent and much more tamed, earlier flowering and better yielding than Oldtimer's line. A properly selected 3 way cross between Oldtimer's Haze, Tom Hill's Haze and Sam's Original Haze would be a dream come true for any pure Haze lover.

Beautiful Beanzy :) Glad to see her planted in soil.

Sexually mature Oldtimer's Hazes usually stretch like mad in September, to start flowering in Ocotober, to pack weight during November and to finally ripe in late December/early January.
Best wishes with yours, please keep us udapted.
