Dubi always mentions from cuttings they tend to mature 2-3 weeks quicker indoors.

Cheers LT. I dont have access to any cuts but i can create my own.... i principally grow from seed because of my isolation.

Peace brother

196-28=168/7=24 weeks bloom man thats an eternity I am probably gonna put these on 12/12 immediately once all are above ground and then top at around 8th node and once stretch is complete go to 11/13 for the duration. Going to start with much less than 5 gallons too. but up pot at end of stretch to a few gallons of soil....

Any chance of a close up of the bud structures?

still holding out for a few more days but right now I got 5/9 germination ratio on the purple OTHaze. I had 1/3 from the first ones I tried too so that currently puts me at 6/12 sure hope a couple more sprout up!

popped 11, ended up with 5

wanted to make some seed but so far it looks like 5 girls. Projected chop date is November 5th at 120 days - plenty of long dark nights after that if needed.

thats what I meant man make an aero cloner and just take cuts off the seed mom you can keep taking cuts before you put into flower also just take good all around care of them and they will continue to be exactly like the seed mom.

used riot rooters, rock wool, soil, peat and nothing can touch an aerocloner just keep the thing totally cleaned out with bleach every 2 weeks and you're good. I put h202 just a bit in when adding tap water. hairy white roots in a matter of days. I only use 1 23w cfl daytime bulb on them too.

are those from seed planted early july then? or cuts? did you veg at all?

Don't remember exactly when I popped the seeds, It was late may or early June so they vegged while they sexually matured. I moved them to flower on 7/8 although that's still so close to the summer solstice that the change probably barely registered on them.

I see lots of preflowers, they all look like girls to me at this point but I've been fooled before so anything is possible. What I need right now is some dumb luck to A) find a fire pheno and B) recognize it soon enough to keep some cuts.

Honestly of all the ACE gear I bought last year, this was the wild card of the bunch. Unless you start with a ton of these beans and have the time, space and place to sort through them I doubt you'll find anything spectacular by itself.

If you're willing to put in the time and effort though, I think this line could be a valuable tool to infuse some of these stacked indica WLD lines with some NLD genetics and freshen some genetic pools with hopefully interesting results.

Update on the Purple haze off in my brain!

6 of 9 seeds have sprouted! Got some good JuJu on the last one that ended up sprouting 48 hours after the 5th one at 7 days! Got 2 Zamaldelica and 1 Malawi so if any of these 3 are males they might be used to dust off the old ladies of the OT purple haze! Hoping that I will find a nice OTH male though only time will tell!

Super Skinny leaf blades on these little ones too! I am excited to see how they grow!

Give these beans time and care, I can't tell you how many times I gave up on seeds and emptied the cup with soil onto the compost pile. Fast forward two - five weeks and I'm dumping the next round of "failed" seeds and dirt onto freshly popped seeds in the compost pile only now I have no idea what seedling is what.........

G'day dubi, first off I would like to say a big Thank you for supplying such a fine line up of solid genetics.
I purchased Old Timer Haze late last year in readiness for this seasons grow.
The packed was dated 8-12-2015 so absolutely fresh seed.
Could you please let me know what Haze parents may have been used for this dated pack.
As the purple phenotypes look impressive my main concern will be the flowering finish which dictates the overall quality as I am only an outdoors grower.
Again thankyou for supply such fine genetics, cheers mate SB

I'd start flowering @11/13 & go to 10/14 after stretch.
I'm doing this with home made Purple Haze x Malawi seeds (PhM x PhM) & they still need a lot of patience.
I did the same with my Purple Haze x Malawi and even with 10/14 one pheno needed more than 100 days from clone.
I would grow OTH with that light schedule too, for sure ;)

Do you mean you repot the plant after the stretch?

6 Purple oldtimer haze doing just fine! made it a week at a friends place and looking good. Time to feed them though they are just in peat starter mix and getting a slight bit pale now. Not as narrow leaf blades as I would have imagined though they were at first...

Finally Spring is just around the corner and We all know what that means....
Yes, Spring Sativa Sprouts you little ripper.
Couldn't help myself so popped an Old Timer Haze in my 6 inch pot with nothing but river sand and waited my usual 7 days to see life.
Will do the same method for the rest of the OTH pack around Fathers Day.
Thanks dubi so looking forward to seeing these beauties flourish in the great outdoors just the way nature intended for this particular strain.
