How those OT Haze doing down in sunny FLA....?

Feast or famine! I put them in smaller pots but they are already almost 6' tall and they ping pong back and forth between me not watering enough cause I'm not there every day to drowning in all this rain. We get trace amounts almost everyday and then we go through downpours so they see it all.

Firmly convinced they will go into January at this point.

Here we are

Here we are

at 105 days, a 120 finish in not gonna cut it. Down to two seemingly solid females, culled two that hermied like crazy. No idea if that was genetic or environmental/stress related. Weather has been crazy hot for this time of year and we've had no rain since the hurricane passed.

They are still tall enough to make me nervous about somebody spotting them so I moved them to "the trench" and started bending the tops down for security purposes.

Curious when did you germ the seeds?

Is this 105 days from germ ? Or first sign of sex ?

I'd suggest continuing to LST , I do it vigorously threw out plant life till about mid flower , sativas can take it very well . Your gonna need ties and Or stakes into later flowering

Keep us posted

Best wishes

BH,

seeds were germed in late May and grown outside with supplemental lighting. Moved to flower (away from supplemental lights) on July 8th and that's when I started counting days but it was probably 30+ days later before they even began to show sex.

They've been through hell, small pots, tons of rain, periods of no rain, countless thunderstorms, a hurricane - some of them several days laying on the ground.

I believe age of the same plant helps with maturity. Meaning I think you could've Germed earlier. Also you would know best of your situation, but in my experience sativa/ sativa sativa Dom . The Hazes I've grown didn't start flowering till august . I think your right about 30+ days later . Soo the 105 days wouldn't be accurate. If your local has the weather to keep them out leave them as long as possible forget about counting days

Totally agree with Bigherb no sense getting 75% finished when you could take them all the way and I think you can down in FLA...also being that you are farther away than 10 degrees from the equator I believe they will bulk up more quickly for you towards the end as your light/dark cycle should be more dark than the plant is used too.

That's what I meant when I said 120 days wasn't gonna cut it, I think these will probably go well into December and maybe even January.

bigherb I germed when I did to try to limit the size and particularly the height of them. I learned my lesson when I grew ACE Guatemala and had to finish it in a 4' deep hole and was still sweating bullets

I understand about height , I can relate

Considering your using pots that will limit size and height

I start LST when they are few weeks old . I bend vigorously threw out its grow till the stretch stops mid flower . All the side branches grow as tops nice big colas , every branch gets tied down over and over and over . I tie a string around the pot and use that to tie down to

Push it to the limit and keep us posted
