I'm still deciding on the best way to tackle these but I will start a grow thread on these when I do.

Tom, If its not too tedious for you could you give me a brief description of the mexi, thai, hawaiian and african lines used in the mix. I'm a big fan of the Norcal afghan/thai crosses. I'm really suprised we don't see them circulating much anymore. I'm also glad to hear you mention the deep chunk as being cerebral. I thought Humito and I were the only people who felt that way. The plants I've grown so far have a very social buzz. Anyways these letters you sent us really are a special gift and hope none of us disappoint you in redistributing them to the community.

Hóla!!!

Sounds very interesting. How long do those "pure" Korean strains flower? I would love to get these beans in my pot´s!!!

Raco, you are one lucky mon´, I am going to visit your thread if you start one.

Hey Zam, I would agree on the cerebral aspects of DC, but I have gotten a couple phenos that knock you out pretty good. It is a nice up head space for an indica that is for sure. I am sure it would make for a nice happy strain mixed with the right sativa, you are probably already working on that aren't you :)

Well it depends on what you mean. Tom was smart and generous enough to send these packs out to breeders who will thus turn around and use them to make new creations. Hopefully Tom will be around to help id the strains and phenos that come out of this mix. As someone said earlier in this thread, it is just the start of another snowball which will just keep growing. While there won't be any immediate gratification look for products of these genetics to come in over time. Hopefully with some careful germination I will get at least two femmes of each line. Hopefully we should have a pure line around here that shares a similar pedigree to each of them for not altering the lines too much and keeping them as close to the originals as possible.

With luck you might find some of the X18 Paki in there. It's one of about 20 varieties in the mix.

I still have 10 left...just waiting for the next moon...and fingers crossed!! :D
And the XVIII cutting that I´ve shared with a few good friends lately...

XVIII :D

Tom my ol friend  It's great to see all these great genetics going around to good folks who will give them the love and care they deserve :joint: ... You're truly an exemplary breeder; shining above all those who have filled their hearts and this culture with greed! I was blessed then and I am blessed now by your generosity and care for our cause, I brethren :rasta:...

On another note friend; I was wondering why the old mendo was giving me a bit of a problem germing (3/6 so far)... The Cripple Creeks were a bit tough to get going as well... I have changed the germing method a bit... I'm now scoring these seeds a little before setting them to germ... I was accustomed to the vigorous grow of your genetics from back when the DS9's, and Tarantula were grown humbly with love by my friends and I nearly a half decade ago... I now know the cause for this average germ rate I have been experiencing, and applied the proper method for germing... The other strains; PTK, Tarantula, and CalJax are hella vigorous and growing as expected:D... I am in full gratitude for having the honor to continue your hard work and see it spread to the community! Much love I brethren, and I hope you and your loved ones are safe and sound... JAH bless

Some of you have these & are wondering what they are.

Pure lines have always taken a front seat in my program regarding my own time management however when something good comes along I certainly do collect. This collection represents decades of freeing the good ones out of the vaults of the oldtimers.

Old Mendo-

A mix of mostly hybrid seeds containing cannabis originally from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Korea, Mexico, Jamaica, Africa, India, Thailand, & Thai based Hawaiian genetics in no particular order. I made this mix up from various sources of cannabis grown in Mendocino County from the mid 70's through the 90's. You'll not find any Dutch hybrids in there as they were purposely avoided during collection. This is what Mendo used to be- a flashback if you will. Some of the seeds in there are very old, please use extra care when sprouting.

Beautiful pics Raco! Could you give a brief description of the X-18 and a comparison to deep chunk since it is a portion of this mix?
