Hi guys, sorry for loosing sight of this thread for a while,

Howzit Raco, seems like you are one of the few that managed to get some of these going.:( Remind me to talk to you guys about shitcanning paper towels & planting directly in wet dirt with difficult to sprout seeds, 4 days before the full moon (John Jeavons), in a previously arranged 85f room. I would say that your guess is correct in that these plants are likely mixed up (don't look at me:) , if I drop a seed on the floor it goes into the mixed bag & I only use one type of pollen per year usually), & that the lanky plant above is an "old mendo, one of the sativa crosses. They're looking real fine amigo, best of luck to the end. T

Hope you see this Tom. Would love the hear your soil germination methods

Some of you have these & are wondering what they are.

Pure lines have always taken a front seat in my program regarding my own time management however when something good comes along I certainly do collect. This collection represents decades of freeing the good ones out of the vaults of the oldtimers.

Old Mendo-

A mix of mostly hybrid seeds containing cannabis originally from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Korea, Mexico, Jamaica, Africa, India, Thailand, & Thai based Hawaiian genetics in no particular order. I made this mix up from various sources of cannabis grown in Mendocino County from the mid 70's through the 90's. You'll not find any Dutch hybrids in there as they were purposely avoided during collection. This is what Mendo used to be- a flashback if you will. Some of the seeds in there are very old, please use extra care when sprouting.

Is the strain called old mendo haze related to this project? Or is that just a coincidence? I'm referring to the one gooey breeder used. Also what do you think of this strain in general compared to your experience with other good haze?

Surely different. Gooeybreeder says:

Old Mendo Haze comes from Mendocino Co. in California from a highly prized seed line from an old grower who got this line from Santa Cruz in the 70's. It's flavor is amazing, it's high soaring and perfectly Haze!

It's Lime/vodka taste is one of a kind!

A Gooeybreeder fav!

Tom's description of his Old Mendo is in the first post, quite different.
