Get a mixture of different kinds of apples (anything ranging from bitter sweet to sour), preferbly homegrown, grind up to a pulp dunk into a cheesecloth or teatowel, and press till all juices have run out. Put your apple juice into a fermenter, add topfermenting yeast (bakers yeast will do the trick) and wait for anything up to 2 weeks. Bottle and let mature for a while at roomtemperature untill its developed the flavor you desire and chill.

If you want it to be a sparkling cider, add a bit of yeast and sugar to the bottles (make sure they can handle the pressure) and leave it to ferment!

it is the weed that makes it psycho cider :jump:

Yeah, I got to understand that, thanks to Hazy!

I'm wondering how he did it? Just "dryhopping" some weed through it? Or add weed in the fermentation process? Even if you create a strong cider at 8 to 9% ABV there is not a whole lot of THC that can dissolve.

It might be nice a experiment for next autumn doh ^^

I am going to try and word this as politely as possible as its the only way I will get my point across without hopefully getting jumped on or banned.

This is the ICMAG cup, not the HTCC, ICMAG cup has always been fun and been a pleasure to attend as a guest and even better if you have an entry in, makes it even more fun, but there is nothing fun at all about being charged 25euro for a guest pass, jamie made a post saying it dont add up, but if you take 1 min to add it up how can you guys possible charge for a guest pass??, and im pretty sure if there is no problems with volcano's this year it will be a sell out, there really is no reason to be charging the members here who maybe cant afford a judge pass 25euro if they want to attend the event as a guest, every other year its been free to attend as a guest so what makes this year different?? kinda disappointing to hear as its not as if you guys dont make enough from the ICMAG cup now you gotta squeeze as much out of the people who cant afford a judge pass and charge for a guest pass, when did it start to become about money, it should be a fun, friendly event with as many people showing up as possible, not charging people for the privilege if they want to attend, and i seen the post about maybe putting on free drinks and snacks, still dont make it right, I know its been done now and there is nothing im gonna say that will change things, but you guys really should be ashamed charging people to attend the event as a guest.

I tried to word my post the best I could without causing any offense, I know some people might not like what i have wrote but i tried not to be rude with my reply, if any1 does find my post offensive in any way then I apologize, but that is not right guys, something needed to be said.

fizzbomb....there are many inclusions with a guest pass...esp for this coming cup, do you wish for Gypsy to simply foot the expenses 100% himself? There has ALWAYS been a charge for a guest pass...sans last year with the volcano mess.

So...lemme get this straight....you feel that Gypsy paying for two venues (the awards venue being the most costly), providing munchie foods and refreshments at Mila's 'to those with a pass', goodie bags, and other inclusions we are still solidifying, should simply be free?

I know you fizzbomb...having met you at the 420 Cup last year, and mate...honestly, what you propose simply isn't feasible. I believe some of you have gotten a bit spoiled by not being charged when in fact there has always been a guest pass charge...it varies from year to year....like in 2007 when a guest pass was $175usd due to the professional cover bands and extremely costly venues....last year the charge simply wasn't enforced due to low attendance caused by the volcanic eruption, much to Gypsy's dismay....but yet there was still enormous costs he absorbed. The financial end of the cup is all about breaking even...not making a profit.

You are welcome to search this forum for all Official 420 Cup threads by DG spanning many years, and you will find that every one of them contains a cost for a guest pass.

If you (and others) didn't pay for a guest pass the past couple of years, you were lucky....and most likely why the cup was in the red each time by 10k+ euros.

For a 3 day event....you are complaining about what amounts to about 8.33 euros a day. The goodie bag, muchie foods and refreshments at Mila's alone are costing more than that per day this year and that's not even taking into account the other inclusions being solidified (yet to be announced yet), nor the awards venue and many ancillary costs.

Sorry mate...nothing personal....but this is just plain silly to think that Gypsy is supposed to hold a free party.

I do hope to see you there again this year, and enjoying yourself once again. :smoker:

Hi...firstly thanks for taking this on...in the interests of fair play I would like to mention that..

this

plus this

does not add up.

you would have to know in advance how many entries you are going to receive and I would also raise the point that last year there were only 4 indica entries in growers and therefore 4 samples for 150 euros is not a good deal.

?

any chance of a reply to this please DG .

Sucks if there is not a ton of entrys but for me the experience of being in on the fun at the ICmag 420 cup is worth the price :)

DG how does gypsy have to foot the bill for anything, if you do sell all the judge's passes the total cost comes in at nearly 20,000 euro, and you think im complaining about having to pay 8.33 euro a day, well if you want to look at it like that dg you guys will be making nearly 7000 per day over the 3 day events, so do i think gypsy should be giving a free party for every1?? no i dont, but maybe he or you can organize 1 from the money you guys will be pulling in from judge's passes alone and not charging guest for the privilege. the food has never been free in mila's, and how much is a hot dog or tostie?? and the food is still not free as you are being charged for snacks and drinks, might not be paying there and then but you payed when you purchased your guest pass so either way its not free. so is mila now charging you guys to attend her place?? did not think so DG as mila,s has always been free to attend, she makes her money from hot dog sales and other things so its not like gypsy has to pay for that which you suggested in your post, so that only leaves the award ceremony.

awards venue lol, now im not sure how much it was for the bastards of glitter lol and to hold it at the hippo studios last year but surely could not have been that much.

dg i can assure you i have not been spoiled, anytime i have been at the cup ( 3 times ) there has never been a charge for a guest pass, the cups have went well every other year without having to charge for a guest pass as well, all the costs have came from the passes that was sold, the way it should be, but now if you want to enter your being charged for the privilege also along with being charged for being a guest, i will say it again, this is supposed to be a fun event, but it just seems like $$ is taking over as there is nothing fun about paying 25 euro to be a guest.

no matter what i say on the subject nothing is gonna change anything DG, but there is an old saying that applys here, hope it dont cause any offense, but no matter how much you polish a turd, end of the day its still a piece of shit ( charging for a guest pass) I honestly feel very strong about guests being charged for the privilege to attend, and it dont really matter what you say DG as i will never agree with charging guest's when you look at the possible money you guys will be pulling in from the judge's packs alone, just seems a bit greedy to me tbh, no need for it at all, sorry for stating how i feel as i know it is not going down well with you or the other members but something needed to be said, and all i proposed was you do not charge for a guest pass, how is this not feasible??? maybe not now since you guys already got them on sale, but it would have been an easy thing to do.

last thing im gonna say on the subject, i dont agree and im sure others dont as well, no point going on and on about it, its been done now and ty for allowing me to state my opinion without facing a ban or being booted, but i will be saying no more about it. see you soon DG lol.

Anyone who went last year know which category had the most samples?

In fact, a full rundown of what was in each category would be sweet.. then people could make a relatively informed choice about which pass, if any, to buy.

If people can afford to fly to/stay in amsterdam, I think they can afford to pay 25 euros lol. I realize there will be people attending that are already close(r) but ya 25 euros is negligible. I have no idea what their costs are or what goes on @ the cup nor am I saying that 25 is either right or wrong. Just saying....
