shouldn't breeder of the year award go to who ever wins the breeders cup ? seems only fair :tiphat:

Some judges only want to smoke indica....some only want to smoke sativa....we did it this way in the past and it worked out much better for the judges.

indicas ,sativas and hashes is fine ,but to categorise into breeders and growers as well just isn't needed :)

If i enter the 420cup! does that mean that i still have to pay 25 Euro to hang at
milas??? lol

Involves more than merely hanging out at one of the venues. So not having to pay for food or refreshments (which I was going to include in a post a bit later on when other things were solidified...along with the other inclusions) isn't enough. There's no pleasing some of you it seems.

buddah...you must have misunderstood....maybe OP said that, I don't know, but I know I didn't....it would make doing the photo shoot impossible, which is preferred to do with whole buds. DG entered last year so I am quite certain I did not make ANY input to that statement....so please do not include me in a statement like that....we have always wanted (preferred) to have nice whole buds to photograph first. PLUS....it would mean receiving entries in all sorts of different baggies, that would then be like picking out a marked card in a deck of cards...no way, no pre-packaging is to be done by anyone, grower or breeder. This is a blind judged event...and all samples will be in like baggies.

Hazy....the breeder of the year is the one award that Gypsy determines himself and is based on his decision alone. He has always done this, and it's his preference to do so as the owner of ICM, Sboo, and Sbay...in fact it's his right.

It's also unfair to have growers competing against breeders....they should be on a more level playing field, as they have been in the past. Many growers complained that they wanted to compete against other growers, not breeders too. In fact we did it this way in years past.

When you purchase a Judge Pass from Seedbay, it falls into the same payment policy as any other purchase made from the bay....so yes, same 14 days payment is required.

Be sure to hold on to your auction ID # for claiming your pass at the cup. In the past we've accepted auction ID# or your bay acct alias name, so either will suffice.

I LOVE like baggies!!!!:jump::dance013:

I want to enter, and buy a judge pass for the opposite of what I enter.
Problem is that now I dont know what I be entering. I have a room full of various strains that are now at 35 day flowering, and they need to be tested to see which I want to enter.

Thank you DG for making this all possible!!!

Great job, however big sigh that it crossed through my original plans of buying a judge pass for 3 poor students and having a blast. The choices that have to be made are horribly difficult now, grower or breeder, indica or sativa, what would be the best value for money..

Is there any indication on the average amount of entries going to be made in the breeder cups? Coz i think taking a mostly sativa and a mostly indica breeder pass would be the more sensible choice to make now.

PS.
I see judge passes are also available on the boo, can i buy them from there contradicting the OP or is it a mistaken entry on the boo?
Thanks

that's a real BIG shame ,,i miss that bastard so much ,1 day i will get the recipe off bruce ,:tiphat:

Get a mixture of different kinds of apples (anything ranging from bitter sweet to sour), preferbly homegrown, grind up to a pulp dunk into a cheesecloth or teatowel, and press till all juices have run out. Put your apple juice into a fermenter, add topfermenting yeast (bakers yeast will do the trick) and wait for anything up to 2 weeks. Bottle and let mature for a while at roomtemperature untill its developed the flavor you desire and chill.

If you want it to be a sparkling cider, add a bit of yeast and sugar to the bottles (make sure they can handle the pressure) and leave it to ferment!
