Sounds like you got lucky and found some really good buds Bulldog, or does it indicate that the quality outside Amsterdam is really good?
Last time I travelled anywhere in Holland outside haarlem of Amsterdam was 99 and I remember that the buds in the little towns were all old cuts of things like Power Plant, Super Skunk and Haze, but of course, they have the best phenos and special cuts, so they were very good, I swear the SuperSkunk I bought in big 5g bags back then when as good as any modern Diesel, a rich, lemony, almost fuel-like taste and very potent. I've often thought that a part of the fuel taste of Diesel comes from the Superskunk part of the genetics. I mostly smoked hash on that trip though, I was travelling by train so it was easier to smoke pipes of hash. The big, black lady train conductor thought it was hilarious when I jumped off the train at every stop, had a pipe hit and jumped back on again before we set off! That train went to Tilburg and I spent the day there but didn;t like the aggressive vibe of the place and chose to get a late train ratehr than stay there, all the bars and coffeeshops I went in felt like trouble and violence was just under the surface, not at all like most Dutch towns, probably due to being in the extreme south and close to the borders. Leiden was probably my favourite city, I spent 5 days there hanging out in Coffee and Dreams opposite the univeristy cos i met these freaky American chicks when I first landed and they insisted on putting me up for a few days in this huge house they shared with all kinds of wierd creatures studying at the university. I had only just graduated from uni myself so it was my scene, hanging out smoking fine hash with a load of students, wish I'd stayed there and got a job to be honest, instead of coming back to the UK!
