No they didn't....:(
I didn't see any Afghani hash...The Manali creme seemed to be oiled down.....
Glad I only sampled it...The Leb is spicy and good...................CC
Both GH samples are good....Their Moroccan had that nice shine to it on the outside..Kinda granular shineyness...

Takje care.............................CC

I'll let you guys know what I find and maybe save you some time...
The Royal Dolphins is pretty good but not special....
I'll hit you guys back here later..................................CC

Ok thanks Capt., although I'll personally be focusing my purchases on the south NL shops and a friend in the Dam, that way I know I'm getting killer hash and buds too, at the lowest possible prices.

Remember the Diamond Haze and Cristal Royal hash if you go to Eindhoven (The Wall coffeeshop) ;) Very nice indeed m8.

Peace

And the Red Leb sounds good - I'll be getting some Yellow Leb hopefully from Tilburg, so it sounds like a match made in Heaven, lol

Peace and have a good day man

I'm going to Switzerland today, lol

hey BB cheers for gettin back to me mate....i got intouch wi the flyingpigsters and check-in's 24/7 apparently so i'm thinkin i might just jump the train from schiphol straight down south if its possible so i should be able to get there much earlier without havin to stop off int'dam....so it should be all good and we can get back to the dam much earlier wi a bit o luck. Hadn't seen the report in the hasj section about the Leb, i will have a look...i only ever saw Leb in Edinburgh back oh around 91-92-ish i think, stuff came in white linen bags and i guess what musta been the oil had permeated into the cloth, dunno if thats the real deal or not but man compared to all the mediocre rocky and skanky black we got back then it was well nice- met a guy in embra who reckoned not much of it ever got to the mainland UK as there was a "special relationship" 'tween the Lebanon and Ireland which meant they always got first dibs on the hash...dunno if thats true or not mind but we only ever saw it over a coupla month period back then. Oh happy daze, 10 days and counting....good to have some souls on recon already, cap'n i look forward to yer updates in what is going to be a very long 10 days hehe- dunno if ye'll be out Katsu way but remember there's the Papillon out that way too which is supposed to be pretty nice. Does anyone know how Nol got on? Is Sativa back open now?

edit: Bulldog, i checked on the ns.nl site and i can prolly get a train about 9am and get into T'burg on or around 11am so should be all good-as long as my flight's on time, but i'm KLMing this time so no easydelays with a bit o luck.

Yes sir, have been burning the candle at both ends since I left home and my tank is on E! And thats not E entertainment.....
Thats fucking EMPTY!

Finally found what i was looking for today ;)

Going to have to chill tonight and get the groove started fresh and early tomorrow...

Have enjoyed hangin' at the Sensi with crew by far the most and also enjoyed the new GH ,very chill place with excellent employees at both establishments...

Biggest disappointment..............Bluebird!Expected much more/better from reading but it's all hype....
Will do a report in my forum on the things I have sampled and places to eat and get lost and all that good shit....

PS..............GET A BIKE!!!!!!!!!!!
You are crazy to do it any other way!!!7 euros a day with insurance!!You can go literally anywhere in 10-15 minutes....All the way across the city in just a few minutes!!!The short time it takes to lock it up properly is nothing compared to walking or waiting on trams...

Mikes Bikes on Kerkstraat....Good people and good bikes that do NOT standout...

Take care....................................CC

Hi boo,

Ok cool, it's good to hear you're able to get to Tilburg earlier, and that you're also up for heading to A'dam earlier too - trust me, we'll stay away from the crowds of tourists as much as possible, and concentrate on meeting cool ICMaggers and smoking the finest herbs and hash in the Netherlands ;)

I think we're in for a real treat with the Lebanese, and KLM should be on time, you're right, so you should be in Tilburg by 11am no problems. I arrive the day before, so will be ready and waiting for you with a fat joint of the best I can find, hehe :) and I find good stuff ;)

...which brings me onto......

Well I know Mr.Haze gets some wares from there from time to time, and his word is gold, but I've never been impressed by Bluebird, especially their cattle market style service.

One thing I will say is that I never hype things up.....I'm a very experienced stoner, and am brutally honest about what I think of things. I can guarantee what I've been saying about The Wall in Eindhoven is definately *not* hype, as I'd hate to talk the talk and for the wares not to walk the walk, and it sounds like you need to make a trip down there, to see what the best the Netherlands' coffeeshops can offer ;) :)

And beware of Kerkstraat......it's a well known Gay street, LoL, maybe that's why the guys there were so friendly, lol, just kidding ;)

See you soon :smoker:

Fun seeing Soma come in and plop down with us as well.....

Seems like something crazy is just around every corner...
I guess I'll see ya around noon or so......Same place as today(I'll PM you tomorrow to be sure where...).....
Take care.............................CC

Have to say, I've never understodd why folks raved about the Bluebird, the staff aren't friendly, never have been and the hash is very expensive and in my experience, never anything special. It's a comfortable place to sit for a few hours though and never crowded, a nice change from some shops, but never bought anything there special, and may purchases been average and disappointign as it's not cheap.

Only reason I don't hire a bike is I don't like riding a bike when really stoned! Feels like your flying and is fine on a country lane but not nice in a busy city centre!

Couldn't have said it better myself, except I have seen it packed a few times, lol.....'standing room only anyone!'

The other problem is the exceedingly steep (and also dangerous) stairs!

Ah yes, the stairs of death, and they are painted matt black, which makes it worse! Many times have I sat in one of the window seats and watched someone fall done those steps, last year an Italian guy in a leather jacket landed right on his arse with a sickening thud, he wasn;t very stoned and was quite pissed off, mostly becuase he had made a fool of himself and had gotten the seat of his expensive Italian trousers dirty. I could not help but giggle at these three Italians arguing and gesticulating wildly as only Italians when worked up do, they realised I was laughing at the and were gonna say something nasty till they realised everyone in the place was giggling and just left looking rather embarassed.

The ones in Pink Floyd are also highly dangerous, in fact, I can think of many, many lethal stariways in Amsterdam! Last year the one in my hotel was like the gangway of a ship and the first time I atempted it, I fell down the last few steps, it was about 15 degrees from vertical with wooden steps no more than 6 inches wide!

I think most dutch stairways are dangerous.
There's a couple of coffeeshops in Arnhem too with nasty stairs. I've always thought it's for trapping stoned tourists into spending more money cause they can't get out. :biglaugh:
