unless you have extra gap between plant\lights you'll need co2 for stuff nearing 40w per sq ft. I wanna do a 4'x2 stack setup with 25w per sqft till i get more light, and co2 to bump it to around 40w per sq ft and train close to some sativas.

Im guessing his tent is anywhere from 5-6.5ft tall so he should have a few feet to work with. Might be right though and super bright even up high, thanks to the reflective walls. Can always run 3 of 5 of the rows, and maybe add an extra timer during mid day for just an hour or so on full blast with the other 2 rows.. or unscrew some or swap around bulbs, etc.

75w equivalents are maybe a better option at say 12.5 watts each? Thats 312.5 total and 34.7w per sq ft. If you hit 1.5gpw thats roughly 16 oz.. sounds good to me

25 sockets in a 3x3 makes for a nice square fixture with good spacing and even coverage if mixing daylight and warm white bulbs. I'm just thinking of the fixture itself really. More sockets to work with anyway. Others here have made exactly that for a 3x3 using the 14w 100s and I wonder how its working for them.

Some people have run a 1k hps in their 3x3s too and still manage, seems like 350w is nothing compared to that. My buddy has 2 johnson cx6's @ 360w each? cob lights in his 4x4 with ceiling extension and it works pretty good.

25 per sq would be great in a stack setup with less headroom im sure. With lower wattage bulbs would probably do nice as is. Yet to see anyone run c02 and blast the plants with SILs upwards of 1500 umols. Would be cool to see.

Cant wait to see some stacked tent grows with SILs, please do

ok.

its there kind of, i can see it a bit.
i'm going scrog 101 starting today, well see what there is to see.

ive been running SILs for 2yr now at a range of 380-450w in the 9sg, sea of green, rotation between a dozen or so varieties. that has stopped and im going with 2 flowers only, gonna toe the line as a citizen and NOT. BREAK. THE. LEWD! fuck, you know what i mean just my fingers have problems with bullshit and lies

2 9sq tents, 1 plant each ya think? wattage is open for each, building whatever fixture needed can be done.

i need to repot the jbC99 and satori for this scrog to start, 3-4wk in veg from clone....pics 1page back....i have a 10gal nursery container, a 10gal smartpot, 3gal smartpot and 2gal niursery available...

so, go big right....10 gals? or actually, why shouldnt i go with the bigguns?

yea Drop that, lets palaver.....you mentioned tent on the side. :) that!

that will happen soon. 32x32x60. 1 maybe 2 stems, prolly a fabric pot/trough, scrog or just hellraiser-style trellis and tie-down.....Iscrog, invisible screen of green.

since ive been in sog mode i rarely veg more than a week after root unless there was top/train involved, so i have a new little curve with vegging for real time/scrog and pumping them up. which will be fun but also damn challenging with veg timing, lst/train timing, ya know....the sched/logisitics stuff. but, since im not running a 28-stem sog anymore i should have the time

this thread and y'all are cutting edge, really. to undercut the Mf`ers by creating insanely productive and drastically cheaper methods like this? i want to be with you all for the apocalypse, would give me hope to ride it out...;)

and the proof is always in the pudding pop. the flowers. and, as you know, according to consensus and my not-so-irrelative humble opinion those little cheapass led bulbs rock the casbah.....fuck the sharif and his 25hondo black dog state of the art fixture. the buyer/seller dynamic that pervades every stinking inch of the world around us is getting old.

this is state of the art...art being key word.

Big plants = Longer veg time. trade off's abound.
I'm stuck with 3 in veg and 3 in flower only. i seem to run perpetually over with starts cuttings etc hard to do it with 6 . but big plants are fun to trim but the wait gets old.

A monster in the cupboard...

A monster in the cupboard...

Hi to all on the forum, apart from my intro post this my first real post..
Thanks go to Blynx for starting this amazing thread and Terpene for great photos and all contributors that have grown the thread into a great source of info.
Heres some pics of my gardens, the big cupboard has 7 12w bulbs a mix of 6500+2700 these bulbs are from home bargains in the uk @ £2.99 each. The big one is 30w 6500 and was £11 from fleabay,my stoner mind has forgotten the brand:dance013:
114w total
My veg drobe has 4 12w 6500

The veg drobe is extracted into the big cupboard using the same fan.
The veg drobe keeps the big flower cupboard heated during lights off.
The fan is on a controller.
So thanks again and hers a few pics.
Mart

I'm finally getting to grips with this 1521 lumen figure.

A 100w lamp didn't make that much, but as they were withdrawn, they also received a name change. They are now the 1500 lumen lamp (that you can't buy). It's just a little notch left on the bench for comparisons. Based actually on what an led needs to replace it.

You need a 1521 lumen led to replace a 100w incandescent. Yes.. more lumen's. With a cfl, 1398 can replace it. Then a halogen, much closer to it's own design, needs 1326 lumen to replace the 1500 lumen lamp. Which was actually about 1250 lumen, when it existed. Yet we are often guided towards 1600 to replace it. I think it's Europe with the 1521 figure, which looks fine on anybodies packaging, worldwide.

So it's the exacting 1521 European standard, that sits beside the 1500 requirement nicely.

So our lamps won't actually be 1521 exactly. 1521 is what an led lamp needs to be to replace the 1500 lamp (100w gls). So it's more a claim about it's targeted market, than the actual hardware. Hence my box saying it's a 1521 equivalent in the smaller print

News flash. Asda (walmart in the UK) have 1521 lumen lamps that consume 12w now. The typical 14w lamps are still £6 a pair, and the new 12w one's aimed at the 1521 market are £8 a pair. Both carry the same 15 year guaranty. The 14w are the budget line, and 12w the premium product. Both aimed at the 1521 standard for led's trying to replace 100w incandescents.

I have almost all the parts for mod scrog.. I searched 420 mag and found Dr fish scrog design. Perfect scrog net attached to bucket..screen moves with plant..pvc design..uses pvc Ts.. Once they get big..attach screen..they become one unit..after..use screen for drying if u want..screen can be detached after and moved to new buck..clamp hoses used on all buckets.. Sushi shops have tons of free buckets..can be hempy or SIP setup..
