Hi all
If you hadn't realised this thread was / is a bit of a joke
http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=62407
The plant in question is a genuine landrace ibl from Oaxaca c.1978, but this doesn't mean is exemplifies or typifies the line, the region, or the strain of cannabis sativa there grown. It is an example from which only x2 seed from the lot were sown, simply as a viability test before sending to the massive at icmag. One plant was culled, the other remains.
Several (often wild) theories have been put forward to justify the appearance of this plant on this thread and via pm (thanks for the feedback all)
This plant has been grown using a standard method,, used on 100's of other individual strains without any problems, (other than those of the usual gun-ho breeders and general kcuf<-ups). It has nothing to do with wild-creature that go bump in the night... and the only indication the water pH is defunct lies perhaps in the soil-base which is way out for this specific strain. The EC of the water is 0.8
The most plausible answers so far have been put forward by HHF: ( good chap )
1) This type of ganja isn't suited to standard white/black peat soil mixes.
2) This type of ganja generically does not like levels of N (in soil substrate or otherwise).
The above is perhaps related to climatic influences (including what goes on under the dirt) over this genotype,, and others from Latin-America perhaps (?)
This thread was put up as a litmus to test the base of reaction against abstraction, as opposed to anything serious.
Keep sowing, learning, growing folks
Erb, roots, and culture...
