What do you mean starting? yo thought it was a mutation on page 1 ...lol  we'd agree it doesn't look anything like the images on postcards from Amsterdam..lol :biglaugh:

Please show us a photo of a landrace Oaxacan to confirm this. otherwise we're gonna have to start sowing more seeds to judge things

Indicad2006 is perhaps correct, it is lines like the above that hold the ability to save the planet. IMO this is an ancient strain of 'utility cannabis' i.e. an all-rounder that holds many more uses than just getting stoned (food, fuel, fibre). we'll have to keep a close eye on patterns of growth. :joint:

Context: Before Europeans sailed to the Americas (see Columbus 1492), Portuguese merchants were real busy collecting cannabis seed from S.E. Asia (see Vasco da Gama 1499), for food, fuel, fibre. :canabis:

Please note: Had this plant come from a pack of commercial seeds,, we'd have long since thrown it away! This line is from 1978,, which was a vintage year in Oaxaca,,, so for now, we will persist

Internodes

Internodes

The internodes are quite tight for a sativa :canabis:

Jeezus, that plant is way wierd, just doesn't look like ganja at all, you could grow that in your front yard. Can't wait to see what the buds look like, pray she is female!

It really reminds me of one of the really freaky mutants I got in a pack of DP Bluberry, none of which got much further than this, but I'm really intrigued to see how this one develops. Got some H.O.G. seeds myself now, so I really want to get them moving soon, if I can find somewhere to grow them - I have to move out of here in six days...:(

Thats one wicked looking plant. Looks like something in a horror movie. One night your suddenly awaken out of peaceful sleep only to find it trying to eat the family dog.
I'll be staying tuned to watch this one. I hope its a girl monster.

That would definitely be one stealthy plant! Not all that pretty to look at, but dang, I could use those genetics if they turn out well :)

doc if you want some coastal mexican sativa, hand collected, circa Puerto Vallarta, pm me. "Yelapa"

9 foot trees, heavy yeild, some excellently psychedelic rare phenos that would blow any north american sativa away, and many mediocre-good skunky tall sativas.
