I would say this is strongly dependent on the person as some can handle their Marijuana, however others cannot. If they're trying to work efficiently to achieve an ideal grow, it's probably best to put these in place. The biggest down-side to this is once they put one rule up, they get a bit "rule-happy" and want to keep posting rules to the point of feeling like it's run by the government! haha

Yea some people can also handle withdrawals from not smoking better then others. If the person has health problems then it can be life threatening for them to quit.
