well my box is down now fixing to clean it up and so some more mods to it , i found a brand new auto shade going to install it on the wall and see if that helps with the side lighting ( using POMH idea from her grow thread ) and see if i cant get my cool tube made and may be some fresh paint. And will re do the ventilation hopefully i can get hold of a dark room vent.. dam just now rember why i needed that glass i saw wile cleaning up my gf lot.. dam i could have used that on my air cooled hood i made

You should see if you can recover it. Then again, I think glass is pretty cheap so Idunno. I'm thinking of taking the pane off of an old picture for my little DIY oct. reflector. I'm sure it would benefit you if you got the glass.

LOL. You should man. You have the know how and tools. I wish I did. I bought a perfect shaped vase from walmart the other day my GF picked up on clearance for $1.99! I'm scared to drill a hole into it though for the bowl. It's a perfect bong. All we need is a bowl and pipe to fit it which I think we can get for $10-15.

thanks POMH got plenty of buds to roll but cant say that for my tomatoes the one i had in the box didnt do to well and my out doors one was killed by a freeze a few weeks back lol had 30 nice big fat juicy green tomatoes and it drop down to 26 one nite and killed every last one of them. but my lettuce is doing great out side as well as the one i have in a one gallon bubbler in the kitchen window. hope santaclus was good to you and ur family
just wanted to let every one know i may be going a way for a wile still having chest pains and feeling like i am tripping my ass off on caffeine not sure when or if i will be coming back i am hoping its noting but all so it could be some thing bad just what i need, got no money or a job and no ins either way it will break me financely, just wanted to give every one the heads up in case i never return. in the event i never return i wish every one here at icmag the best of luck and a happy new year.

I'm gonna be building the NGB box soon w/ some modifications.
I dont need it running right away as I'm currently growing in a c13 cab. w/ 450 watts HPS, and I use a c4 cab. w/ 70 watts HPS and floros for clones and moms and veg and breeding projects. (I just dont need as much goin on)
I will have plenty of time and funds to build it tight and get it goin as perfect as possible before runnin it.
you guys have pointed out some design improvements that make alot of sense.
so I'll probably have a cpl. questions eventually.
I've never grown outside of soil either, and I def. wanna set it up for hydro w/ the SWC ..so thats somethin' I gotta learn too.
I'm not at all new to growing, and I'm know my way around any wood or metal shop, so I think It'll turn out pretty nice. (I'm no electrician tho)
check out the links in my sig. if ya wanna see what I'm growin now.
1st question: How much do you think the cabinet weighs if built to the OG specs? (sans plants and water) (like if you were moving)???

hey all...am curious about building a box like this...just dont know the measurements of the plywood. would u be able to use like a 70 or 100 watt sec. light for the flowering room? ive got a ton of cfls but would rather get the good hps bud. ...do you use a heavy duty plywood or can i go cheap on it...without it falling apart
