Hey NG2k, looking good.

The light green stalks are probably from the light being too close. Raise it a couple inches and keep an eye on it.

The stated finish times are usually understated for marketing purposes, only the plant can tell you that. You need to observe the colour of the trichomes and harvest when they are ripe enough for you. This takes practice and experience, and notes help for next time, but that finish time sounds a bit on the short side.

They will chunk up in the last couple weeks of flowering, but you may not be there yet. Judging from your pix, I would say they have longer to go than the pack states. Make sure to let each bud reach it's full potential before cutting, and you don't need to harvest all at once. Once you start getting cloudy trichomes, cut a batch, wait a week, cut another, maybe a couple more days, last cut, label and date all jars, and compare the stones when they are dried and cured. Next time you will know exactly how many days to flower to get the buzz you like, because they buzzes will be different, going from heady to stoney the later you leave it. You can even leave the undergrowing popcorn buds to fatten and ripen once you have taken out the choice colas. They will be much better. The worst thing you can do after so much time and effort and money is to cut the crop prematurely. This is what the commercial growers do and you get a bag of crap because of it. Have the patience, reap the rewards.

Organic or chem, the more plain water flush, the better. You can't possibly clean out more nutrients from the soil than your plants needs now. The more you flush, the more the true flavours come out and the less of that 'earthy dirt' flavour you will get. Also, the smoother it will cure, burn, and smoke. I would start flushing right away. You don't want to smoke unused bat shit, I wouldn't. Some of the pros flush 3 weeks before.

Good luck and can't wait for the finish and smoke reports! :joint:

Heero007 thanks man

Heady Pete thanks for stopping by man....
im not raising the light at all, the temps are fine and all the buds are getting a good amount of light. its only ~4 bud tips that are discoloured and its so miniscule i frankly just dont care.

yeh i know they try and drop the times as low as possible just to make it seem good to cash-croppers. i go by when the plants ready and not by the time stated.... hence why i havnt started flushing yet. but i was hoping that they would be ready in the earlier time stated by nirvana as i was going away for the last 5 days.... however as i have seen that they will take a while longer i have already re-organised my trip so that i can let them go the full-whack. patience... is not something i need telling about!

to me... i dont mind an earthy flavour as long as there is not too much, it comes down to preference. i dont use bat shit either so theres no worries there and to me the term "pro" means someone that does that job for a living (aka dealers/growers who sell on). i will give a large flush but nearer a time i think will be best.

stealthshield thanks man.... good to see your still around

ill post a picture update for you all tonite... starting to get a little fatter round the middle now.

Peace to all

Nice NL NG2K... I am toking on a bit of that myself. What a beautiful crop you got there.

I am really interested in the nuts you added to your soil and if you are going to do it again. It sounds like a nice natural way to get a rich mix. What other nutes are you using?

Awesome job! :lurk:

Is there no guano in your BioBizz products?

To clarify, by 'pro' I meant seasoned experienced breeder, not a commercial grower.

JENNA :yoinks::wink: good to see you back around :D. thanks for the kind words... i am very pleased although recently the camera doesnt seem to focus aswell which doesnt really do it justice :chin:. yeah as i was sayin in chat to you... i WILL be using the nut-mix again.... im pretty sure after a few grows when i got the ratios right i will post up a FYI thread in the organic forum and see if it can be made a sticky.... till then its just my little secret  other nutes i am using are all by bio-bizz... bio-grow, bio-bloom and topmax.

HeadyPete i didnt mean to come across all defensive... sorry if i did.

Taken from the biobizz website said:
All-Mix was developed especially to be the best potting soil for organic cultivation. It consists of 20% sphagnum peat moss, 35% garden peat, 10% high quality organic BIOBIZZ Worm-Humus , 30% perlite and 5% Pre-Mix.
and i dont believe the "premix" contains guano either no.

thanks both.....

No worries mate, usually 'organic' ferts almost always contain guano, I tried to find an ingredient list on BioBizz website but no luck. I thought the grow and/or bloom liquids would have some guano in them. Anyway, doesn't matter. From your info and photos, everything looks great, if it ain't broke......

My buddy BonsaiGrower is growing LUI with the BioBizz and it is turning out very well. So well, in fact, I think I have just decided to ditch the Advanced Nutrients and go with the BioBizz. :D

Peace and good luck with your harvest.

i am more impressed with the soil than the nutes although the top-max is a trooper.
id say definitely make the switch its just so easy to use... AN always gave me the impression of ... lol :pointlaug

the whitetips of the 4 buds are down to heat stress but only because these 4 are directly under the bulb and are tall and lanky where the others are all short and fat...

i do need a better fan and a carbon filter but apart from that im pretty much set. i could maybe do with a veg/mother room but dont really have time to build it or much space either.

well im away for a few days in the next week but after that im ok to harvest. i might have to make a deadline of 54 days but thats only because family may possible visit. i doubt they will go THAT long tho.

peace

yeh judging by the crop here im not too bothered by the few nanners. i cant wait for the next grow. i mite not have time to do a full one before i go away again... mite just do a bit of dabbling with some AF plants in the meantime.
i really wanna try some satori tho.... that is a hill that must be climbed for me.
thanks again

looks great ng2k, shame about the male flowers but scratch it down as a learning experience! regardless they are really starting to fatten up. how do they smell? edit - they look like they can go a little longer yet,let them swell a little more, don't harvest too early, you might kick yourself! with your lamp as close as it is with cab growing the very tops of the plant may look like they will go longer due to the intensity but even with that thrown in they look a little young to be taken quite yet.

i'm looking forward to your next run with the satori almost as much as you i think bros!!

well... i am going to have a check on the trichs this morning. i do believe they can probably go longer aswell. the majority of the pistils are still white tho, is this an indication that they are not ripe or do they turn brown during drying/curing.
it all depends on the trich ratios. i may pull just one plant if the trichs are all cloudy, for a sort of "up" high if ya get me, and save the rest till they get a bit of amber on them.
smell..... i wouldnt have said they were "odourless" at all. if i open the cab for more than 30 seconds the room reeks! very very sweet smell for sure! i am definitely going to invest in a better fan and filter before the satori. but wont bother if i run some LR first.

thanks man
