Won some $ on spain winning the euros, so that was nice. Lost a bit on betting the score would be 0-0 after 90 mins. Quite high scoring, this one.

i watched the whole game (ive never watched a whole soccer match before)
it was ok
at one point the guys in white scored a goal and there were a few moments of crazy action near the end where the goalkeeper blocked a shot, only to have it headed back, then a spaniard in red went bamm! with his own head blocking the shot
i dont remember what the cost was but it was not cheap, but the kids and mrs liked it so we went and i got to pay
i also liked fudruckers!!! not cheap especially but it was a great burger for a good price

Nah, ur watching football wrong, Pops, u have to watch the flow of the game, the passing, the cutting, the filling of gaps, then you can get into it, see how the offense sets up their attack, how the defense attempts to cut it off. There wont be as much scoring as american football of course, but i do appreciate that there's few if any breaks, other than halftime.

Im pretty sure native americans have an obesity problem, among other issues, and fry bread is one of the causes. Never had it but some pizza places around here sell bread sticks that are strips of pizza dough that are deep fried and covered in salt and parmesan, terrible for your diet but dang if they arent delicious.
That pumpkin fry bread recipe looks healthier but iffy, there's no flour among the ingredients, wonder how it fries up...

American football is more bursts of action with stoppages after every play as the players reset, soccer is continuous action with steady flow to the game, punctuated by sudden shots on goal. It's a vibe thing. I was like u, like where's the action? But over time i started to appreciate the flow and tactics of soccer. I also like the fact that the games are less than 2 hrs and there's not eleventy million commercials. I have chevy trucks, cialis and kevin hart draftkings commercials burned into my brain. I guess that's the point.
Dang Hawk, maybe u should have them buy u a chainsaw and u can roll up ur sleeves and take care of business. That's probably dangerous tho, with the branch hanging up like that. Buzz, do u use a chainsaw a lot? Ive used a small one once or twice, it's alright, just need ear protection.
Maybe u can start burning some of the seasoned wood and make charcoal out of it? And then use the charcoal in your grill?

Man the weather was crazy. got an alert on my phone to get in the basement. when i heard some strange wind is when i took it serious. as far as i know everything is ok. looks like they did a little work and will take care of it tomorrow. they are gonna wheel barrow the logs. just been hard to do stuff. the weather is insane

When World Cup 2026 rolls onto the stage is the time to get into football/soccer/flopball, @pop_rocks . The pace of play, the variety of playing styles, and the passion in the stands is amplified beyond belief. I got hooked on world Cup in 2002 when we went to visit my brother in Sicily. On the flights over and back I talked with some guys who were amped up about it.
The fans from Iceland have the best cheer!

That is definitely a dangerous situation.
I don't use my chainsaw a lot. I used to do a lot of chainsaw work. I was the Horticulturist at Thomas Edison's Winter Home. There were many huge trees on the grounds and we had to make sure that large wooden objects in the form of branches did not fall down on groups of tourists visiting the gardens. One of the groundskeepers on the crew was an excellent tree and rope climber so between us we kept the Stihls making wood chips, smoke and a lot of noise.
I have an electric chain saw now for when the pecan trees drop a chunk.
All of it went up the chimney in the form of smoke.
I may be going offshore on a red snapper fishing trip tomorrow or Thursday if the weather holds and the creeks don't rise and the barometer is moving and the fish are hungry and the sharks are not... so I am standing by.
