Yeah Pops, josh allen was pretty rough as a passer his first 2 years but took a leap his 3rd year, it's Fields' 3rd year and he looks even worse than last year. People are saying it's the O-line (which truthfully isnt good) and the Off Coordinator (also not good) but put some of the blame on Fields as well, he's still having the same issues, misses open receivers, holds the ball too long, slow release, etc. And now he's not even running.

In his defense he's not the only young QB struggling so far. Pickett on the steelers is only in his 2nd yr but looks worse than he did as a rookie. Deshaun watson used to be very good but had 2 turnovers that were returned for TDs by the steelers last night and overall was inconsistent as a passer, had some good throws but also sailed throws too. Mac jones isnt leading the patriots offense to many pts. Zach wilson still sucks but at least the jets tried to replace him this year. Some bears fans want the undrafted backup, tyson bagent, to get some playing time at QB, he'll probably play well enough in limited minutes but as soon as they give him the job full time he'll start sucking im sure.

There's also 2 MNF games next week too, hippy. Last night one played on espn and one on ABC so that's how they were able to do it. Also on espn2 there's the manningcast where peyton and eli watch and comment on the game.

That was beautiful, Buck. I was a big nick chubb fan too, wanted him in fantasy cause I thought he would have a monster season but like u said it’s over like Rodgers’ season, and who knows about his career? He had a similar devastating knee injury in college, tore his acl mcl lcl in October but came back in 10 months to start week 1 the next year and ran for 200yds (!). Of course that was 8 years ago, he’s 27 now not 19 and this injury was to the same knee so who knows how a 2nd surgery and rehab goes.

This was deshaun watson’s 8th game for the browns, it’s been pretty bad so far but he was out of football for a year and a half and he’s had pretty good seasons before so there’s hope he can be what he was. There’s less hope when u consider Stefanski’s playcalling, like u said Buck he’s been pretty bad, Baker looked decent for the Rams and now the Bucs, maybe stefanski needs to give up play calling cause outside of chubb heroball not much is working.
Steeler’s Off Coordinator is also getting all sorts of heat from the fans, there were calls of Fire Matt Canada after a failed 3rd and 1 attempt that had no chance, it was a Pickett RPO that he lost yardage on almost immediately. Across the league so many people are upset with their team's playcallers, i know bears fans want a new OC for fields.

I would only make one note, u made it seem like they played brissett before getting watson, they had to start the brisket cause of watson’s 11 game suspension. I made a mistake, chubb actually tore every ligament in his knee in college except for the acl. Maybe it was the same last night. Man's acl must be made of rubber to not be torn when everything else is. Also in both cases his knee was dislocated.

The 49ers are favored by 10.5 or so, Giants will be without saquon who sprained his ankle on sunday. Daniel jones sucked the first 1.5 games of the season but turned it around the 2nd half vs the cardinals, but the niners are another level of defense, probably better than the cowboys who shut out the giants 40-0 in week 1. I guess it all depends on danny dimes, if he can carry this team maybe they can beat the spread if not theyre looking at losing by 20. But in all likelihood the 49ers are winning this game.

Yeah, Rams got a swap of 3rd day picks (7th for a 6th rd) in 3 yrs for trading akers to the vikings, that’s pretty much nothing in compensation but at least it wasn’t as bad as the trey lance trade (4th rd pick for someone who cost the 49ers three 1st rd picks). Akers was a 2nd rd pick right? And the rams got their use out of him, he had some decent games for them so not a total loss.
Kareem hunt was supposedly washed up last year, that’s why the browns went with jerome ford as the primary backup and let hunt go in the offseason, but he’s supposedly 10lbs lighter so maybe he’ll have some more bounce than expected.

Yeah, rams traded akers and a 2027 7th rd pick for a 2026 6th rd pick, these picks convey in 3-4 years so who knows if the current coach/gm will even be the same then. Basically they traded akers for a bag of peanuts, he’s not even making much $ either (1.3M this year) so it’s not like a lot of cap savings either.

The pie and free wings sound like a great deal for $22 or so. Was it a big pizza or more of a personal size one? the giants kept the game interesting for a while but like you said, sf went ham in the end and nothing nyg did could stop them
the game got extra chippy at the end too which kind of shows how the giants players felt about the loss

Yeah, don’t think giants fans are feeling too great about their team now, saquon has a high ankle sprain and daniel jones is being paid 43M/yr and has looked like azz for 5/6 halves so far. To be honest their O-line has been injured and their receivers are still average at best but Jones hasnt been able to elevate the mediocre talent they have on offense. They made the playoffs last year but I think their fans are resigning themselves to another losing season at this point.

You saw fields play last year Pops, think u commented that it takes him a long time to pull the trigger when he's in the pocket, but that was before he unlocked the rushing cheat code. If he runs well against KC maybe they can put up some pts but it’s highly unlikely they win, maybe if they win the turnover battle 3-0 or something.
