im a fan of miles garrett and think with the added firepower on defense he could have a huge season
i like the idea of being able to move guys around on the line to exploit mismatches or overload parts of the field
im not sold on pickett and while n.harris can break off big runs he isnt that consistent
but again, these are two teams out of my wheel house and i appreciate hearing your calls on the afc.n

My go to meal is chicken wings and I use a Frank’s hot sauce and butter mix to coat the wings. A little blue cheese dip, a fat doobie, some cold beer and if we win, I sip a straight scotch drink and toast the victory. If we lose, I go over to another game and repeat. Except for the scotch. I save that for victories.
As far as hawk goes, well some people get stuck being angry and can’t seem to behave any other way. As far as I’m concerned, I look at it that life is short and being angry about everything is a waste of time. Yes there is plenty to be angry about that’s for sure but just as much for which to be grateful.
It doesn’t help anything being angry all the time, unless you try to address whatever it is that is making you angry, do the best you can and move on. Staying in an angry place sucks all the joy out of life. I wish him well and hopefully we can be friends.
Baker is trying to make the best of it in tb and I wish him nothing but the best. I think he did the best he could here with the Browns but it didn’t work out in the end. He did get us to the playoffs though and got us a win. So he did help turn the Browns around and headed in the right direction and I’m grateful for that.
The Falcons are like most teams in the NFL, at this point in the season we don’t really know how good or bad any of them are going to be. Injuries play a huge part. Your team could be rolling along on top of the world, a couple of injuries to key players and the season is over. It’s all speculation at this point.
The Falcons have a favorable schedule, the defense has improved and they have a very strong running game. There is room for optimism and like all of these teams, we’ll see.

Ritter played at Cincinnati and did really well. He brought a lot of joy to people in Ohio so I’m rooting for him to do well with Atlanta. They are favored tomorrow by the way against Green Bay. Atlanta has been predicted to win 9 games this year so things are looking up for them. Wasn’t it just a few years ago the Falcons were in the Super Bowl? So I don’t associate the Falcons as always being terrible.
So if someone has a different opinion than you about a team or the league you feel the need to start name calling? Relax man it’s just a game and it’s for entertainment. I’m going to have fun watching games and I hope you do too.

I’m the biggest dog lover in the world. I’m still in mourning over the loss of my 17 year old best buddy who I had to put down a few weeks ago due to her suffering with cancer. So hurting dogs is a cardinal sin in my book.
It was a cultural thing with Michael. It’s what his culture was doing at the time and he was a part of it. He paid his price, did his time, lost multi millions and the respect of many by doing it.
He has apologized the best he could and vowed to be a different and better person. That’s all you can ask of a person. Hating on him now and wishing him harm wouldn’t do anything to him but it would keep me angry and bitter. Like I said, life is too short to be wasting time, energy and emotions being filled with hate and anger towards something somebody did in the past.
He paid his price and vowed to be a better person which it appears he has done. I let it go and believe me, at the time it came out, Michael was #1 on my shit list and no punishment was going to enough. That was then, this is now, he paid a steep price, he apologized, changed his life and I forgave him. At some point punishment has to stop because it no longer accomplishes anything to the punished. It does however keep the punisher bitter and angry.

Rams made a game of it with the 49ers, Pops. McVay went for the last second FG to get the push (niners by 7). I had teased niners by 1.5 so that was a win for me in one of my parlays.
Cam akers was deactivated before the game and kyren looked like a good #1 RB. What’s the deal with akers, he hit on mcvay’s wife or something? Sent her a dick pic?
But u gotta admit Rams look better than expected, O-line looks decent, Stafford is healthy and still has a killer arm (the one Int hurt tho) and mcvay is dialing up some good plays, moving the pocket for stafford and getting space for kyren williams. Defense is still a work in progress but theyre mostly ok there also, held the niners to 365 yds for the game, after letting mccaffrey march down the field for an opening TD i thought it would be a wipeout but they actually gained more yards on the day than the niners.

Tonite we have patriots and dolphins and tomorrow we have TWO Monday night games, saints vs panthers and Buck’s browns vs steelers. I think buck is right, steelers QB is barely better than fields and this might be a blowout.

so whats the deal with the chargers, they lose another close one to crashville and are now 0-2
not like they cant bounce back but its not a good way to start the season
rams lost a close one to sf and i might have to buy into these young rams receivers at some point
