I guess that makes sense, lifers vs short timers is a whole different vibe. I figured it would be more like shawshank redemption, yknow, like minds with like minds regardless of skin color, and everyone hates the anal rapists. Is that a thing in prison, the anal rape, or is that just hollywood bs?
I hear they don’t even allow cigarette smoking in prisons anymore. How that didn’t cause any riots I don’t know. Unfortunately prisons have gotten worse over the years cause it’s the one group people can still discriminate against, that no one cares about. That may be true for the violent psychos and sex offenders but the majority are in for non violent crimes (drugs and theft) and they should be treated more humanely if u actually wanted to rehabilitate them.
Will they show bears games in the prison? That at least is something. Hopefully the bears give him something to cheer for this year, not saying they’ll be good but better than last year at least.
Bears are playing the titans in chicago at noon Saturday, rams vs chargers in LA at 6pm.
I like how julian is always carrying a full glass of whiskey and coke everywhere, in the car, out in public, etc and somehow never manages to spill a drop. Makes me want to drink a whiskey and coke actually.
I planned on watching some of the women’s world cup but never got around to it, Pops. The US women’s team lost to sweden Sunday morning, game started at 4am central and I taped it but forgot about it and just saw the score online. Then a few days later tried to fastforward to the penalty kicks where they lost and even though I recorded 30 xtra mins it didn’t get the penalty kicks cause of the overtime period. Lol ah well, to be honest women’s sports kind of suck, I keep comparing it to the men’s version and think there’s no way the best women’s player could even earn a bench spot on a men’s team. But I guess that’s the wrong way to think about it, you could apply that thinking to high school and college, the vast majority of male athletes at those levels wont sniff a pro career either.
