its been a while since there was a top solid first rnd rb and i think the rams can find some value at a later spot
we wont be seeing th return or gurley 3.0 anytime soon like you said, but im sure we could fill the spot in a team friendly manner
im still getting up to speed too as far as the nfl goes and we all can only go so far until we have some real football to look at
i always wonderd about tehse prize bottles of whatever you hear about that fetch record prices

yeah i guess theres a lot of money in buying booze.its not for super expensive bottles but i heard some people go across state lines and buy nice bottles for cheaper cause some states dont have a firm price on alcohol or something.like you can get the bottle cheaper or something.i dont know the details.just something i heard a while back.so i bought those Trailer Park Boys gummies.i probably shouldnt of done it.it was $30 including shipping for 10 gummies.i dont have the kind of money for that when i could go to a real dispensary and probably get the real deal cheaper.i dont know never been to one.but its the boys so at least ill save the bag as a novelty.maybe they will be good.
my mom just got out of the hospital today.her whole body is covered in bruises doesnt look good.she forgot she had at least an ounce in her bag when she went to the hospital and one of the nurses found it and called the cops!cops came and luckily they didnt arrest her or give her a ticket but they took the weed.i had a feeling she took it with.she totaly forgot.one of her problems was she had very low sodium.a buddies sister almost died from that.i think she did die and was revived.i cant remember.it was a while back.at least shes home.she went 2 weeks without smoking ciggs and wants one bad.shes got patches but shes gonna start again soon.i know it.only thing i got going for me is i dont smoke ciggs

I don’t know if ive ever had it but knob creek is definitely a highly rated bourbon, in a blind taste test it’s 12yr old bottle compares favorably to pappy, I think.

Atlanta drafted bijan robinson, the TX rb, at #8 overall. He’s actually expected to be a top fantasy pick too since he’s a true 3 down, workhorse back and atlanta is heavily run oriented.
But ur right Pop it’s hard to find an RB drafted with a premium pick nowadays. The best rookie RB from last year was drafted in the 2nd rd, Breece hall by the jets.

I think people did the same thing with cigarettes, Hawk, they’d go to indiana or even further south and buy a bunch of cigarettes. Supposedly in kentucky or something they were like half the price of chicago area cigarettes. Maybe now taxes are higher everywhere so there’s not that ‘arbitrage’ opportunity as there used to be.

Ive heard that these super expensive art sales are a type of tax evasion and money laundering used by the ultra wealthy. Like u can donate the painting to a museum and deduct its price from ur taxes. But maybe there’s more to it than that.

There’s a lot of optimism for the season, with a real #1 WR (DJ moore), improvement on the O-line (#9 overall pick Offensive tackle), a free agent LB (tremaine edmunds) and no Rodgers in the division. We’ll see how it works out, there’s reasons the bills let edmunds leave in free agency (low impact player, doesn’t create turnovers), our LT is still a rookie, DJ moore is really good but not great (he’s no Kupp or jefferson or chase) and of course what if Fields is still a subpar passer? Even if they win 6 games that’s still double from last year but overall a very poor season.

Paying $30 plus shipping for 10 gummies is pretty high, should be like $20 at a dispensary (if it's on sale, and includes tax), but like u said it was more of a novelty purchase, Hawk. Let us know if they get you high.

Yeah, the NFC south is going to have 4 new starting QBs this year, Panthers with #1 overall pick Bryce Young, Falcons with desmond ridder (although he started the last few games of last year when they benched mariota), Bucs with Baker mayfield and Saints with derek carr. So that’ll be interesting. Falcons also have a good TE in kyle pitts and WR in Drake london, to take the pressure off of bijan. I wouldn’t mind taking him in the 1st round of fantasy drafts, I took zeke elliott his rookie year, also saquon in his rookie year, both turned out well.

Looks like the dispensaries around you have pretty good prices, pretty similar to IL, around $20 for 100mg THC of edibles. Taxes for you seem to be around 33% total, I think IL is around 40% or so. It’s a ripoff I know. It’s nice to have a personal grow and be able to have unlimited personal supply for a fraction of what it would cost in a store. Do you grow every year or can you skip a year if you have enough saved up?

Does ur mom like spicy food? Taco bell came out with the volcano taco and burrito, it has lava sauce which is a pretty spicy cheesy sauce. I tried it this week, for a fast food sauce I found it genuinely spicey but not over the top, still had good flavor.

I watched some of Rick bayless’s mexican cooking show too, u can tell he really knows his stuff but his manner was so calm and even it seemed unnatural, even creepy lol. He has frontera grill, that’s in river north so like the north side of downtown. I been there once, it’s alright, their schtick is if you order guacamole they make it fresh at ur tableside, a guy comes by with a cart and cuts open the avocado and mixes it up in front of u.

The saints have chris olave at WR, he had a pretty good rookie season last year and should be a decent #1 WR for derek carr. They also have michael thomas, who was awesome like 3-4 years ago but has been mostly injured since but if he’s healthy that’s a really good WR tandem.

We don’t do dynasty leagues where u get to keep players on ur roster from last year but I wouldn’t mind being in one just to see what it’s like. I guess the real secret in those leagues is if one of your low draft picks (8th rd or lower) breaks out you can keep them next year for a really low price (giving up ur 8th rd pick this year, for example).

I didn’t know TX had medical dispensaries, that’s cool that they have a few. Did you need a medical card to get into one, Pop? Thought they only let in people who have a medical card so they don’t get a bunch of lookie-loo’s in there.

Ive been to Downer's grove once or twice in my life, Hawk, they had a Fry's electronics out there i would visit, also a Margaritaville restaurant (jimmy buffett the singer's restaurant) that's since closed down. Seemed like an alright area from what i saw but im not too familiar with it.

I think Hawk would have a pretty awesome restaurant, there are pop-up restaurants that operate without a license and get business by word of mouth, open only for a day in a new location so they disappear before the authorities can shut u down. Also I think u could open up a take out store from ur home on doordash, I seen on social media where this guy cooked Digiornio pizzas in his oven, advertised them on doordash (I think he lied and said they were fresh made) and people actually bought them and gave decent reviews. But maybe the best would be if he could manage the kitchen at a little bar and grill, he could some up with his own menu, change it whenever he liked to use whatever ingredients were available, etc.

someone sets up a grill of a tamale cart and there you go
the latest one i saw was selling fresh juices and agua frescas
it was just some guy with a table and a bunch of coolers
if it was closer to home maybe i would have stopped by and tried something, of course you have to be careful so i would also bring some alcohol to mix in, just to be sure its safe to drink
there are no dispensaries in tx, they were all in co
now i hear nm is opening up and its a not as far a drive, plus i hear their bud is just as good if you find the right spot
i was a big fan of m.thomas, he seemd like a big body physical reciever who could come down with the ball even in coverage

yeah i knew i was gonna get shit from the toothbrushes.i use them to clean my grinder screens and clean the table if im snorting stuff on it.those brushes dont go in my mouth.i got an electric toobrush and waterpik combo forthat.usually i clean the table and because its glass its easy to collect kief and screening buds.unfortunatly you guys saw the aftermath.sorry.already cleaned it..

Oh,sorry baba.Yeah my dad and i used to grow in cornfields and mink cages.my grandpa used to have the best mink in IL and the make good starter gages.be hard for any anmimal to get in there.racoon might if hes clever enough.anyway it was mostly garbage.my dads crazy.we would get weed seeded by rural hemp and cornworms in the buds.the last few years have been better though.didnt see any cornworms but lots of seeds.must be some new pesticides they are using.i just did it for exercise.i know how dumb it is.my dad would rather spend an hour cleaning weed while hes watching old westerns rolling joints the whole time.now hes only 62 and in better shape than me.but hed rather go through the old ritual of rolling joints on a record cover for 2 hours.barely even catch a buzz than smoking even half a joint of something thats gonna get you high.hes nuts and ive never seen this out of anybody.i can barely smoke good pot without coughing but hed rather smoke a few joints of garbage to relax?its nothing new,even when we were dealing hed smoke a half ounce a day of decent stuff and drink a 12 pack.i wont smoke anything if it dont get me buzzed in 3 or 4 hits.ive cut back alot.he dont smoke ciggs either.you guys ever see anyone like this?smoke joint after joint of bunk weed?

We’ve got some carts like that in chicago, Pops, selling the shaved ice, elotes, fresh cut fruit and tamales. Not all at once though, usually each cart does one or 2 things. If you find a good tamale cart that’s reasonably priced that’s gold baby.
The sketchy thing with these carts is there’s no way to wash their hands, really. Just have to hope they aint nasty and scratching their butt or picking their nose between customers. Or do what Pop does and bring ur own alcohol and ‘ahem’ disinfect ur drink so it’s safe. Ur a real man of genius.

I think there’s a few medical dispensaries in TX, according to Leafly at least. But maybe they’re limited in THC % of what they can sell, according to the TX gov website? Still, seems better than nothing.

Michael thomas set the single season reception record in 2019, got a big contract extension and has hardly done anything since. Plus I think he’s had some attitude issues with the team, maybe theyre pressuring him to hurry back quicker but he keeps picking up new injuries, etc. The saints had a good run with sean payton and drew brees, won a championship 10 years ago, but their future doesn’t look all that bright. But maybe derek carr will surprise everyone, who knows?

Portillo’s does all chicago area food right, I agree with Pop that is a good looking dog. And im glad the gummies are working out for you, plus you get to keep the bag for display.

Rick bayless probably makes more money from the frontera grill frozen food sold in stores than from the actual restaurant. He’s only got like 5 locations, the one in the north side of downtown and the others are in airports I think? Restaurants have such low margins it’s no wonder 90% of them go bankrupt.

Ive often thought you could hide a good amount of cannabis in a cornfield, no problem. And it’s fertilized and watered for you by the farmers? But I guess it’s also sprayed with pesticides and stuff too. Hopefully by the time you harvest all the chemicals are gone or break down.
Even if it’s seeded by wild hemp if you harvest enough you should be able to make decent hash out of it. It’s more work and expense to do that though. I’d probably make oil or butter out of it and use it for edibles.
I remember back in the day smoking a lot of mexi-brick weed, it got me high but wasn’t as potent as something grown indoors or good outdoors (it was seeded and suffered rough handling). Sometimes it could be surprisingly good even though it looked like crap lol. Sounds like ur pops is just used to the routine of rolling and smoking, maybe it’s more of an oral fixation thing than a ‘getting high’ thing with him.
