i would guess the biggest wave ive ridden would be in the 12-15f range but it wasnt the heaviest wave by far
the thing about surf is you can have these nice rolling waves that give you a second or two to get going or you can ride the big boy stuff that is super steep and fast
i had this thing for getting barreled and so i would search out the heavier stuff, the waves breaking in shallow water or over a reef
we used to call em' slabs because it would seem like the whole ocean was crashing down on you and often times there was more water above you than below you
when i was young the water was not as dirty and we would just dive right in
we will see how akers does this year, but im not sure if the rams are going to extend his deal
just saw this thing about m.gordon talking about how rb is an underpaid position
i think you have the few elites and then just the rest
you have to bring a lot to the table to be considered elite in todays nfl

sometimes when im on the road and i cant drink like i want, i have to get by on what i can get
most places will have that steel reserve stuff and a lot of times its cheap!
knock and couple of those back and you are set for the night
ive never had a wave drop a jellyfish on me but ive had plenty of shit birds ruin a good wave
being in the water is fun and even thoe im nowhere near what i used to be i still like to get wet every now and then
i mostly swim,( not in the ocean too much) or i will body surf/ ride a sponge from time to time
i just like being in the water

oohh steel reserve is at the bottom of my list.ill drinkem if i cant find anything stronger.they got some flavored drinks out now that arent too bad but their high gravity lager is the worst.thats all my buddy drank was 40s of SR and he would put a bunch of icecubes in his glass.i would never water down my beer like that but this time ill make an exception.i just found out Trailer Park Boys has some new CBD gummies out with delta9.WTF is delta9?is that the new synthetic thc i heard people talking about on here?looks like they ship to my state some ill try them for shits and giggles.wish i could get my hands on that Green bastard beer and their liquormans ole dirty canadian whiskey.obviously im a huge TPB fan as if you couldnt tell

At the end of riding a barrel do you always wipe out or can you come out of it still on your board?

With the way the RB market is going it wouldn’t be surprised if you wont see any 15-16M/yr deals like Zeke, Kamara, Mccaffrey got. Those guys put up studly production at their peaks but you can still have a very productive run game paying RBs like 20% what they get. It’s a shame too, NFL used to be a smash mouth league but with the favorable passing rules that’s been de-emphasized more than ever.

I prefer whiskey and coke but rum and coke goes very well together too. Do you like the coconut rum, Hawk? In tropical drinks it’s pretty good. There’s this bar called hala-kaliki around O’hare that specializes in tropical drinks, served in fake coconuts and stuff, as long as theyre strong I don’t mind the sweetness.

Ive heard of steel reserve but thought it was like a local Pittsburgh beer. I guess it’s a 40oz malt liquor sold everywhere and has 8% abv so it’s a favorite of people who like to drink hard and fast? Im down with that. Is it expensive?

Pops is right, delta 9 THC is the normal THC that makes u high, delta 8 THC is the more ‘legal’ form of THC that doesn’t show up on a drug test unless they specifically screen for it, it also gets u high but maybe in a different way? Not sure.
I wonder if there are any shows on tv or streaming that are like TPB. Maybe that show “Shameless” that was on Showtime for a long time? That was set in Chicago, not canada though.

there is just this flow you get riding in a pit where you find teh sweet spot of the wave and go with it
if you dont find that line you can still make it if you are lucky, but sometimes you get to go through the spin cycle
kamara and c.mac were both dual purpose backs who could like you up on the ground or in the pass game
i think the game has changed and the backs who can run the ball and pass block or swing out are what they are looking for
/i miss smash mouth football too
sounds like some kind of tiki bar baba! those places can be interesting
weird decor and an ambiance you dont get at other places

I know what normal thc is but these aren't what's in buds that we smoke.these gummies are legal in most states even ones where medical and recreational isnt legal so it can't be normal delta 9.that would be illegal.espicially sending in the mail across states so I don't know what the deal is.now I'm seeing delta 8 drinks being sold in all 50 states so all this new stuff is news to me.when I get some money I'll order them and let you guys know.ill post a link.

Yeah Pops, for sure the RBs that can do it all, receiving and running, are the most valuable, but the chiefs showed you can win a championship with playing 2 backs that make like 2M total: jerrick mckinnon was awesome at pass catching (he had 9 receiving TDs) and pacheco was the grinder and interior runner. If you can save 10-12M at RB, that’s an above average starter on the D-line or O-line that you can afford.

Yeah Hawk, delta 8 thc is the ‘legal’ form of thc, it’s an isomer of delta 9 so just a bit different from delta 9 but still gets u high. Chemistry works in mysterious ways, doesn’t it?

the situational rb is very popular in the nfl and has been for a while
you bring in your 3rd down back or that short yardage guy when the situation calls for it and he gets the job done
but its also kind of a tell whn you put in certain player packages and a good oc lkes to eep the defense guessing
but i dont see a lot of high value rb and like you said i would rather invest that money in a great defensive player
i always thought of mailibu as a mix in, like you make a drink and add the malibu for flavor until i met this one friend who loved the stuff
its kind of like midori where if you arent a drinker its a nice sweet something you can mix and get a little buzz

im a whiskey/scotch/bourbon guy but i dont know if its the indian in me or what but ive been known to get a little crazy if i drink too much.im trying not to go to jail so i dont drink it unless i know im gonna be alone.i whiskey and coke more than rum and coke but cheap whiskey is bad and cheap rum isnt as bad so it depends how much money i have.oh! i dont think i showed you guys this $200 or $300 japanese whiskey i got last year.one of the best whiskeys ive ever had.i show a pic of the bottle if i can find it

Damn good whiskey.was kinda a pain in the ass to find it.almost had a fruity under tone.i think it's the second best japanese whiskey after Yamazaki.this was about $300 I think.and that's the cheaper one I think.not sure

Yeah, the lack of true workhouse or 3-down RB’s in the league really killed the value at RB for fantasy football. Now only guys like Mccaffrey and saquon are top 10 picks, it’s mostly WRs in the 1st rd along with maybe the top QBs (mahomes/allen) if youre in a 2QB league.

That’s the thing with modern NFL offenses, they usually run 3WR 1TE 1RB so defenses are forced to go nickel (5 def backs) to cover them. If youre the Rams offense with todd gurley then a 6 man box is like a guaranteed 5yd/carry, and if they bring a safety down to make a 7man box then good luck trying to cover gurley on a pass route with a LB or safety.
Id like to see sean mcvay with an elite RB again, cam is more than decent but he’s not on that level. But maybe with a better, healthier O-line this year he’ll have a breakout year, whatchu think Pops? Is he capable of maybe 1500 scrimmage yds (1000 rush, 500 receiving) and 10 total TDs or am I drinking the koolaid on that one?

I think the Yamazaki 12 yr is $300/bottle now, the hibiki is around $80/bottle, it's a blended whiskey so a little less pricey.
Have you guys ever heard of Pappy van winkle? It's a bourbon made in kentucky that's so sought after it's almost impossible to find in stores, and in the after-market bottles sell for 5-10x MSRP. Probably like most things that are so overpriced it's not really worth it but i'd like to try a glass just to see.

Pappy van winkle bourbon is so hard to get that supposedly some rich dude called the company up and wanted an inside connection and they told him that if he really wanted an unlimited supply it would be cheaper to just buy the company than to buy a bunch of bottles in the aftermarket.

Kamara was a 3rd rd pick but blew up his rookie year and mccaffrey and zeke elliott were top 10 picks, so at this point u have to think akers is who he is, a good but not great back. I think ur right, the rams will use him up this year and move on next season. Gurley 2.0 isnt walking through that door anytime soon.

No worries Hawk, football isnt for another 2 months so you’ve got time to catch up on the changes. I laid a bet on the bears making the playoffs this season and also winning over 7.5 games (out of 17) for the season. Was that too optimistic? The odds weren’t that favorable either.
