Wind damage to a screen door is totally believable, DB, I used to live in a place where I had to replace the screen a couple times cause it didn’t have that chain on it to keep from swinging open 180 degrees when it’s windy. That flexes the heck out of the hinge. If youre somewhat handy and have a power drill you can probably do it yourself if you take measurements and check home depot’s website – a new screen door might be $100-150. A 2nd set of hands would help too, someone to hold it while the other screws it in place.
Or don’t fix it and argue it’s normal wear and tear, like Pop said, I mean it’s not your responsibility to make sure the door was properly installed, ur just a renter.

I cant imagine not turning the heat on during winter, you have to live in a place that rarely gets below freezing at night in order to do that. A little ceramic space heater could make things a lot more comfortable for u, I had a friend who growing up his bedroom was in the basement, during the winter he’d huddle around his little space heater like a wino around a bottle of hooch.

Tell me more horror stories of interacting with the homeless camping out in downtown san diego. My body is ready. What about random annoying ass tiktok-ers?

Went to Trader Joe's this morning in Cambridge. Fresh oj. Bangles/cream cheese. Steak tips. Salsa and tortilla chips. Pretzal nuggets.
Only spent $200 this month on my cannabis. 1/2 gram kief a day. Have 3 grams left and it's the 25th. Not bad. Made it through the month. Was high as shit and in the bathroom and thought I heard a voice in the downstairs apartment under me going "he's lighting up again!" But it was just my brain on drugs and the plumbing in the bathroom walls. I have to be particularly careful with that because I used to perceive that stuff as real and act on it...punch walls, yell. Get hospitalized and medicated with antipsychotics. Gain 75 pounds. It's just the weed, man. Nobody said anything. It's just the wind or plumbing and you're high as shit. I wish weed didn't give you like slight auditory hallucinations when you're paranoid and stuff from being high and doing something risky. Who said that?!

Trader joe’s always has good stuff for a decent price, theyre the upscale version of Walmart. Costco is better for bulk savings though.

If you can keep ur kief budget in check you should have more money to save or spend on other things, that’s always a win.
Haha, I know what you mean about cannabis making you hear things that aren’t there. When im high and looking to sneak another hit or an edible or some booze, I start hearing the woman walking into the room, or pulling into the driveway. Like every little noise becomes something that freaks me out or im afraid of. it dosent really freeze here on the coast but it gets cold in the winter
you have to remember its all relative, if you are used to nice things you expect things to be nice
we did visit soem friends this weekend and their place was at elevation inland, thats where the cold things live
it was super fun because they are frea$$$king ri$$h so they had the home heater on cranked up all day

Yeah, not sure why energy prices are still so high, natural gas prices have come down a lot from last year. Coal I guess is still more expensive than normal. IL actually has a lot of nuke plants so electricity prices are pretty cheap but theyre still 12c a kilowatt/hr, up from 7-8c before.

I know biden’s not the most popular president but im not sure it’s entirely his fault that energy prices and inflation are happening. Most of Europe is experiencing higher inf than the US, I don’t think that’s biden’s fault either.

What’s this about ur fitness level being low? Is that a 1 on a 1-10 scale? Seems like u do a lot of hiking and walking with some strength training during football season, maybe that scale is for professional athletes.

Hopefully hawk kept his mom out of hospice, or if she’s in hospice he gets to stay in the home at least. It’s not surprising there’s a lot of family drama with a parent so sick, it’s stressing out everyone.

Anyone watching the XFL lately? Ive had it on once or twice, all of the QBs are recognizable backup names from the NFL, so that’s something. Josh Gordon, the WR who’s been kicked out of the nfl like 5x for drugs, is playing for the seattle sea dragons, might have to watch him next time.

I try not to wear a shirt more than 2 days in a row, by the 3rd day I feel like I can smell it, even if I didn’t sweat in it. Do you have an in unit washer dryer or have to use a common area laundry? As long as you don’t need to go to a laundromat, it’s not too bad doing laundry once every 2-3 weeks.

I think coal accounts for more electricity generation in the US and the world than any other method (nat gas, nuke, solar and wind, diesel or fuel oil, etc) so we’re still beholden to coal and other dirty fuels. All the EV people think theyre being clean by not using gas but electricity is mostly made by fossil fuels still.

Ur right, Im pretty sure the US doesn’t need any imported oil except maybe from Canada in order to meet their needs. Shale oil is plentiful in the US but is normally only profitable when the price is 60/barrel and up, which it has been for a while now.
It’s definitely a proxy war between nato/western Europe & US vs Russia, but what else is new? Vietnam in the 60s 70s, Afghanistan in the 80s, various banana republics in central and south America, Africa, middle east, Syria now, the superpowers of the world do their political dance and millions of people suffer and thousands die because of it.

Apartment inspection March 24th. Should be okay just need to do a little with cleaning....sweep, mop, clean bathroom. Not having a ho to do the cleaning is shit. If I didn't love weed and single living so much I'd grab a chick and bring her to stay at Castle dirt. It would be crazy in here with a baby...would have to live in better public housing. This place is for elderly and disabled. It's not great but it's been home the past 10 years. Nasty Russian dirtballs came back already. Really thinking it got kicked out of it's new place already. Shit. It's possible...I mean the only place this old dirtball lady can get away with her insanity is this dirt hole. And an insane asylum or nursing home. Might've gotten evicted already. And they're back here now.

Doing laundry 2x per season, is that twice every 3 months? Not sure I could go 6 weeks without doing laundry, you must have a lot of extra clothes. On laundry day it must take you 3-4 hrs to wash all ur stuff, but at 75c a machine that’s actually a pretty good deal. My local laundromat is 2.50 for small machine up to 4.50 for bigger ones, dryers are about half that.

Yeah the smoking and drinking certainly doesn’t help with exercising, I know whenever I made I was pretty sober before exercising but as soon as I was done id ‘celebrate’.

Is dan Snyder really asking for 7B for the commanders? The Walmart people bought the broncos last year for 4.6B, not sure why the Washington team would go for 50% more although it is in a bigger market, but one that it shares with the ravens.

The NFL draft combines starts today and ends next monday, every team’s coaches and GMs are going to be there so there’ll definitely be a lot of talking about trades and such. Free agency starts march 15, already some players are being cut (Mariota from the falcons, Kenny golladay from the giants, carson wentz from the commanders etc).

If you didn’t live with the mrs do u think you’d be changing your clothes less frequently, Pop? Or u just don’t like the smell and feel of stale BO? Do you change clothes every day when camping for the weekend?

The Russian dirtballs are two 90 year old piece of crap female monkey things that live across from each other and go back and forth throughout the day slamming doors the whole time and yelling out for each other. The really bad one said it was moving...but it's been back for 3 days. It's a Russian Jew it spent all it's cash on a Lexus and now its been sitting in front of my apartment for 3 days. It bought it a few years ago. Anyway I wrote the housing manager once again about them confronting everyone who goes in the hallway and slamming doors going back and forth. It is acting like it did before when me or someone else complained...staying low, not making noise. What a fucking sleezeball
