even the basic places are going to charge you $15 for a meal, the nice places are more expecnsive but you get to sit at a nice table and they bring the food to you

clams with the belly is a treat! we used to go to this place that had the ipswich clams and they were pretty good, prob like $20-30 a plate now but at least they would give you fries
$20 for a good pizza isnt that bad. especially if its a specialty pizza
/white pizza, the works or something like that
i know the hut has deals right now and you can always get a coupon for someplace like dominoes but i like the better pizza
better toppings and the crust is a step up from what you get from most chains

Super powered weed, haha, that’s a good one. The sprinkling of kief or hash on top does give it that extra potency for sure. Do you go for a 1:1 ratio, equal parts flower to hash? Or 2-4:1?
I guess DB doubles up on the metal screens so when he smokes pure kief it doesn’t all dribble away. Im sure he could scrape inside the bowl and the stem and get some really gooey resin with a high thc content. Would be a harsher hit than kief for sure but could get him high in a pinch. I know ive done that in the old days when ur all out of bud.

Most of the fried fish places around here also serve wings/chicken, and the fish is limited to various types of whitefish (perch, cod, etc), catfish and shrimp. The breading is made from cornmeal and flour, well seasoned and applied pretty heavily. Not a bad meal but with fried everything (meal meals come with fries) it’s a grease bomb.

Ive had a couple times I overdid edibles, once it turned me off cannabis so much I didn’t smoke again for a month or two. But yeah, getting sloppy on edibles isnt a great experience, you don’t want to lose control of yourself too much. Did you ever feel that you blacked out while high, like did stuff that you don’t remember the next day?

Yeah raiders released Carr this week to avoid guaranteeing next year’s salary. Now he can go to any team he wants and sign a brand new contract and that team wont have to give up draft picks since they didn’t have to trade for him. Is it still iffy how good he actually is? He was not good for most of last year, even with davante adams and josh Jacobs. Saints want him but they don’t have much cap space to pay him unless they want to cut a bunch of players.
Jarrett Stidham started the last 2 games of the season and sometimes played pretty well so raiders could always fall back on him, maybe he’ll turn out like Geno smith, better than u think. Rodgers is also possible, like u said, or jimmy g who’s a free agent now. They also have the #7 pick, could trade up for young or stroud, or get levis at #7. They have some options, we’ll see how they play it but ur right, theyre going to one of the players in the QB market this offseason.
AFC-west was thought to be the most competitive division before the season, but turned out it was the nfc-west instead. Herbert didn’t have a great year with the chargers but they made the playoffs, chef russ flopped in his first year with the broncos, and the raiders stumbled their way through the season after making the playoffs the year before. Not sure if anyone is going to dethrone the chiefs in the division anytime soon, maybe the chargers have the best shot next year.

Haha Hawk, never thought of an Italian beef being a roast beef sandwich, but ur not wrong. The meat is roasted, it’s just dipped in its au jus and served wet. Kind of like a French dip but without the au jus on the side.

I go through a metal screen every 2 days. Excessive? Perhaps. Mom bought me the 500 screens for $10 deal on Amazon. Might be 200 screens. But yeah it gets clogged within a day or two of taking 2 hits every few hours. New screen! Big hit! I throw the used caked screens in the ashtray. I'm high.

Bryce young and CJ stroud are the top 2 college QBs and will likely go 1-2 in the draft, assuming someone like the colts, raiders, falcons or panthers trades up with the bears at #1. Texans could also move from #2 to #1 with a bears trade if they like young enough. See that Hawk, bears control this year’s draft, haha. Guess there’s positives to being the worst team in the league.

I think chargers will be better next year for sure, they have a new off coordinator, Kellen moore from the cowboys. Joey bosa missed almost all of last season with a torn groin, he should be good for next year and him and Khalil mack should be an elite pass rush duo. And broncos almost have to be better now they have sean payton as head coach. So AFC west should be more competitive next year, and if the raiders get a good QB they could be revived as well.

It’s been a while since I had pho, I normally don’t eat soups for meals but they are very hearty, packed with rice noodles and beef. You’re into making that stuff at home sometimes, with the leftover chicken bones? I might have to try that out sometime, but it seems like making the proper broth takes hours of simmering. Might be a lot quicker in an instapot.
Raising kane’s shouldn’t ever be dry, but then again I once had a dry chicken sandwich at chik fil a so anything’s possible; if the workers get cheap or lazy they’ll serve food they shouldn’t.

I think new England roast beef doesn’t use Italian seasoning in their meat (mostly S&P, maybe garlic), doesn’t serve it wet except for a bbq sauce which is usually a brand called james river, it’s more tangy and spicy not as sweet as most bbq sauces. They also serve it on an onion roll, not a French or hoagie roll. And yeah, no giardiniera, I feel that’s mostly a Chicago thing, Pop hasn’t heard of it either in SoCal.

I think I once bought the same thing, DB, a couple hundred screens for $10, much cheaper than the local head shop. I would think you need to double up on the screens to prevent that sweet kief from melting through but maybe it burns fast enough that it doesn’t flow down.

Here’s a steak egg and cheese bagel I got from McD’s, had a buy one breakfast sandwich get one free so 2 of them were like $6. Not a bad deal for $3 each.

It was a great deal for 2 steak egg and cheese sandwiches, the steak is processed, way too soft and tender to be real steak but it tasted good all the same and besides, a lot of steak in steak sandwiches can be tough to take bites of. Except Italian beef, like hawk mentioned, that’s usually so soft it’s easy to bite and chew.

Ur right that breakfast rose along with everything else, I think omelets and skillets at most good diners around here are $12-15 each, even pancakes are $10 and up. Yeah, even with egg prices now you could make eggs bacon and pancakes/toast for like $3-4 a person if you don’t mind cooking and cleaning up.

Im seeing good sliced turkey is around $7-8lb at the grocery, that seems excessive for a bird that you could buy for $2.50lb if you want to cook a whole one. Maybe wait for a sale or go to Costco for sliced turkey. Or you could splurge if you don’t want to wait, you could probably make 3-4 sandwiches with a lb of turkey, especially if you have cheese and veggies to add.

I used to have a nice Roor bong (german company) that would use a glass ‘screen’, it was more of a glass stopper thing that would prevent ground up flower from dropping through but would let smoke around the edges. But if you have a bowl with a smaller hole at the bottom then yeah, just packing it with flower and snapping it through on inhale is another way to do it. Seems like you would have to change ur water more frequently tho.

Nicholas cage is like most movie stars, they get big by starring in a bunch of good or at least entertaining movies (the rock, raising Arizona, con air, etc) but after 10yrs or so they start making a bunch of stinkers. Happened to Stallone, Schwarzenegger, who else? Im drawing a blank.

Dental insurance might not be a bad idea, it might take a few months for it to cover pre-existing conditions so best to get it early and then wait however long it takes before your current issues are covered.
