kaep time in sf it is...I'm excited about football again, I think he can excel in kelly's system, especially if he utilizes the chip on his shoulder for being benched in favor of blain friggin gabbert...win or lose I probably wont be dozing off in the 3rd quarter this sunday.

at least he will kaep it interesting
/see what i did there?!?

i think he has a lot of upside and i dotn think it can get much worse by the bay
the one thing the 9ers dont want is for him to get hurt
(isnt is something to the tune of 14m guaranteed)

i will def have an eye on atl against the seahawks and we will see if matt ryan can keep up his aerial assault on nfl defences
this looks like a momentum game to me and i expect the winner of this match up to walk away with a big lift
and can kc turn the tide and hand the raiders their first conference loss?
big game for both teams

so how are my chargers going to blow it this week against denver?
i see chargers leading by 6 in the final seconds, only to ahve rivers fumble the kneel down and have it taken to the house by the denver D
/more realistically i see the denver D overwhelming the chargers o'line
hopefully no one gets hurt

Gotta agree with you on that, deezy. My ass still hurts from the Giants choking in the 9th inning against the cubbies, but at least I'll have some entertainment this weekend.

I'm an A's fan, I've literally watched both my teams fall apart over the last 2 years with the firing of harbaugh and the trading of yoenis cespedes...I mean he threw a guy out at home plate from DEEEEEP left field in anahiem and then like 2 games later he's just gone, and he took the teams heart with him. isn't this an EVEN year? I thought the giants were shoe ins on even years lol

LOL what can I say other than steve young, and mark mcguire...I just could never really get behind any of the LA/so-cal teams even though I've lived in southern ca for most of my life go figure lol. once I made my first trip to the bay area at probably like 8-9 yrs old to visit some family, there was no turning back hahaha.

the debartollos really knew how to run an organisation

i ahve this weird feeling
like having completed something you started and not f-in it up?!?
i dont know what to call it, but there was this strange mark next to the chargers name the other day?
dub-ah-you?!
whats that?!
/we actually helped the raiders more than ourselves as every win is one spot down in the draft

i really like this bosa kid
he seems to be full of energy and never stops

Bears are 1-5 after losing to the Jags 17-16 yesterday. Went into halftime with 10-0 lead, but the Jags came back. Yeah, maybe this year isn't their year. But high draft pick and all that.
Defense isn't as terrible as it has been past few years; other than the play where the CB didn't touch the WR when both fell to the ground (fluky/freaky play) they played well enough to get the win.
Bears play at Packers this Thursday. GB offense hasn't looked consistently for the past 16 games or so, hopefully they don't figure it out against the bears.

Is it crappy that the niners wanted to redo Kaepernick's contract before playing him? Went from a deal with what, 4-5 years remaining with injury guarantees, to a 2 year deal? I can understand not wanting to play him if he sustains a career ending injury, and supposedly it took him about this long to fully recover from his surgeries and get back in playing shape.
Niners got trucked in Buffalo, can't blame that on Kelly's offense. Didnt expect that kaepernick would look super sharp in his first start, maybe they'll continue to get better with more playing time.

Dak and Zeke are rookie sensations for the cowboys; good for them. I expect Romo will be trade bait this offseason?

Chargers snapped a near franchise record division losing streak against the broncos last thursday; made it closer than it had to be at the end but they got the win at least.

Raiders lost to the Chiefs by double digits. Their defense needs to start making more plays if they hope to reach the playoffs for the first time in what, 10+ years?

Vegas stadium bill funding was approved by the nevada govt; now Mark Davis just needs to convince 3/4 of NFL owners next year to approve the move and then it's Vegas Raiders.

I missed the 9er game, but I did catch Houston vs Colts which was a great game with an exciting finish. Houston came back big time and got the field goal in OT. Lamar Miller finally got me some fantasy points, which was also a nice thing to see. I think I won by about 40 pointa and my opponent has Enunwa playing tonight, but no way that goes for 40 points. Looks like I'll be 2-4 on the season so far.

Has anyone seen any articles bashing ken Norton jr yet? I haven't...maybe cuz the raiders been so bad so long that it's escaping notice how shitty he is doing w what he has!
If raiders were once again a perennial powerhouse and this d played this way he would already be gone!

Anyone else feel like this is a down year in the nfl? So many bad qbs and the coaching seems terrible. Very few legit top head coaches no wonder why belichek goes 3-1 without Brady. When Jason Garrett can go 5-1 without romo you know something is up, I hate him so much he falls into the category of a lot of bad coaches. The most amazing team of the year so far for me is the Vikings, 5-0 lost their 2 starting tackles, starting qb, all-pro rb, and god knows what else but that defense is the real deal and can carry them to wins easexially if Bradford can keep up his play. I can easily see the viks make a deep run and lose a close game because of their kicker, deja vu.

/ nate kaeding anyone?

minis D' is for real,ottoman
the real question is can they do what the denver D did last year and carry that team through the post season?
(just for the reconrd: i was a fan of sam bradford comming out of osu)

the future is now in dallas and unfortunately, there can only be one roty
what a turn around in dallas, garret got lucky
/actually likes carson wentz if we had to vote today

and dont get me started on new england and their soft balled, cheating ...dream boat... wining ways
/mrs chicky is from mass and becomes tawwmy from quincy when it comes to patriots football

yeah, its been a crazy start to the season

Rodgers had his first 300 yd game in a year against the bears, and 3 tds to boot. Thought for a minute after he fumbled and the bears returned it for a td that we'd have a chance, but no, only chance the bears have this season is #1 or 2 draft pick.
Hoyer broke his left arm in 1st half, matt barkley will be our qb until cutler returns. Maybe Barkley with some 1st team reps will be able to move the offense, not sure i want to see cutler out there again anytime soon...

Ken norton jr was a heck of a player, maybe a good position coach but perhaps overmatched as defensive coordinator. Was he DC last year? They were ok on D last year, right?

Vikings D is championship caliber but who thinks Bradford can lead their offense deep in the playoffs? Maybe, maybe not. Walsh has missed crucial kicks before so who knows, their season could turn out like Ottoman says.

Giants left Josh Brown home and signed former bears K Robbie Gould to kick for them in London this weekend. He's getting the ray rice treatment now: we knew it was bad, but we didn't think it was THIS bad, so now we have to get away from him...

Baba, I used to stick up for Bradford since his Oklahoma days but once chip got canned in Philly he's done nothing but make me look bad doing so. Then he goes to minny where I've been crushing him saying how much he sucks, but give credit where credit is due. He's got a hell of an arm and is extremely accurate add not prone to turning the football over and that sounds like the qb of the viks dream. A tough and extremely fast d with an offense that's capable of scoring sounds like a blue print for a championship. I feel the biggest difference for Bradford this year is great coaching, norv turner is an offensive coordinator hall of famer and Zimmerman of proving to be one of the best coaches in football. Bradford isn't playing for fisher or a dysfunctional Philly locker room ends up with legit coaches, I'm seeing something to this.

Fucken mcadoo man, his play calling is for an offense that can PROTECT a QB, this teams can't atm! Look at bilichick up in new england trying to find that bavaro magic he had while in NY, Pretty damn good job he's done with it as well, my question is why didnt the mara's follow that line of coaching? Or stick with parcells crew of coaches? That game hurt to watch in an offensive mindset!

The Eagles showed that you can beat bradford and the vikes with some pretty solid defense of your own (plus special special teams play).
Maybe it's too much to expect bradford to BE the offense when they're missing AP and their starting tackles? He's not bad but he's not a top tier QB that you can lean your offense on when nothing else is working.
But i expect the vikes to get back on track next week vs the bears and (probably) cutler.

I actually got up and saw that game, Vermon, and yeah; just some painful looking offense from both teams.
Manning couldnt complete anything downfield. Unless ODB makes plays in the open field, Eli looks pretty average. At best he'll avoid turnovers, but everything is dink and dunk stuff. Jennings looks like he's running right into tacklers, so no run game to lean on when the pass isn't working. It took an amazing pick six from landon collins to get the victory margin for the giants.
Kind of amazing that all nfc east teams are coming to midseason with a winning record. Who thought they'd be one of the weaker divisions in football? All 4 can play pretty solid D for the most part. I guess we know where at least one wild card playoff team is coming from...

typical nfc east mantra........lets beat the shit outa each other so none of us are healthy for the playoffs. Yeah man its def a year of lean on fantasy players.......i picked up carson wentz and started him yesterday just because i thought he may pull it off....i like that kid man.
