Ya know being a bilichick LOVAH......i am always SHOCKED at how good he is at keeping a stud at the Qb position. Garappolo might be suiting up for Da Bears next year; he's from the chicago burbs, and the bears will be willing to trade for him and will finally be able to ditch cutler to the curb.

Well, my Bears crapped the bed again in another prime time game, losing to another rookie QB in the process. So, we're one of four 0-3 teams (saints, jags, browns) and still in line for a top 5 pick in the 2017 draft. Plus, Quitler (see what i did there?) hurt his widdle thumb and now we get to see a real QB, or a reasonable facsimile of one, in Hoyer lead this team for the next few games, hopefully...

Well, some players need time to get better and faster/stronger (or 'roids) to where they can contribute on the field.
What do you think of Orleans Darkwa now that jennings has a broken thumb and vereen tore his triceps and is out for the season? Is darkwa going to be a #1 back? But the giants are a passing team, with the Odell, Sterling working outside and Cruz working the slot. I watched darkwa play last year, he's not bad but not a game changer. Unless he gets a whole lot better...

I had langford too in a league, not that i really wanted him but he was a low round pick and decided why not. I picked up jordan howard later that draft and am glad i did. Hes bigger than langford, maybe can break more tackles, get more YAC.
Bears have been rebuilding for the last 5 years (and rebuilding for more than 20 out of the last 30 years) and the results look like theyre still about the same or worse. Dont know if people will get fired if their record doesnt start to get semi respectable and even if you cleaned house, doesnt that just set back everything further? I dont want chicago to become the browns of the mid... well, lake michigan (instead of lake erie) but theres not much to look forward to this season except free agency and the draft next year. Oh and finally waving bye bye to cutler, who just to spite chicago fans will sign somewhere on a reasonable deal and starts keeping his turnovers under control and starts winning a lot of games.
Oh who am i kidding? Cutler's going to hold a clipboard for the rest of his career in the nfl after he leaves chicago. He is what he is at this point and that's someone you dont want to rely on leading your team to any sort of long term success.

I think we have bobby rainey behind orleans and a rookie i have forgotten the name of lol. I am honestly not impressed with orleans even remotely. I hate how hard it is for us to find a gem in the backfield, i digress i wanted phillip rivers instead of eli, looked how it turned out! I actually think mcadoo will run alil more as the season progress's, imho it keeps d honest or more honest when they fear your backfield.
I cant believe your so calm after this yrs start for da bears! Then again you seem pretty intelligent and grounded so ill rage for ya if the giants blow another game like last weekend! Big ben would look good in chicago.........

Sorry, I can't find my mushroom grow either. Maybe they finally deleted it. I think this forum wants to concentrate on cannabis, not shrooms or other substances.

Picking shrooms from cow dung; one of those things you always hear about, but seldom get a chance to do.
So long as you give them a good wash (and make absolutely sure they're what you think they are, if not cubes or golden teachers then at least not poisonous) it's like free money.
If you can pick them for free why grow them? Just to put your education to use, see if you can do it? Well, so long as you avoid contaminations (green and black mold, had some of that in my grow, that was my biggest problem but half the jars turned out all right) you should be successful.

I have no choice but to be calm about the Bears prospects (or lack thereof) this season; if i got worked up over every loss i would shorten my lifespan by half because of the stress.

Yeah Orleans Darkwa, despite having a somewhat cool name (like a comic book character's secret identity name) looks like just another dude out there. Gets what's blocked, not more than that, and you're just happy he holds onto the ball when brought down.

When you said bobby rainey, i thought you meant chris rainey, who was a good RB for the florida gators and also fast enough to run track in college. But i guess those two arent even related, and bobby, again, looks like just another replacement level player. but maybe if he gets more opportunities he'll surprise people with good production, anything's possible...

So far the Giants have called 107 pass attempts through 3 games so far, tied with Chicago and Tenn for #18 in the league. They have 77 rush attempts through 3 games, which is #14 in the league. So theyre passing on 58% of their offensive snaps, which is about league average or lower (think 60% or little higher is league average).

I think % of rushing attempts is influenced mostly by whether you have a lead or are playing catch up and have to throw the ball more. Unfortunately the giants havent had a rushing game that was a major weapon since Ahmad Bradshaw and Brandon Jacobs. Thunder and Lightening is often used to describe two backs who rotate carries, one small and fast who makes people miss the other big and strong who breaks tackles, but Bradshaw and Jacobs actually lived up to the name for a few seasons...

of course elliott was drafted 4rth (and is so far legit) but jerrah got all kinds of flack for drafting a rb that high
in the top three rounds of 2016 only four rb were drafted at all
i love the ground game and grew up on a steady diet of sweetness and bo'knows
but it just seems its a pass first league and thats what the fans and OC's want

I am really starting to embrace this thread, Its been along time since ive shot the shit with a group of guys I KNOW id get along with in person unequiv, my spelling there would have been questioned! lol.
