New extraction technique? Rosin tech?

I have some runs i could not get the Rosin off the parchment? I do not know why some do this. The Rosin is very oily when I try to collect it it just smears on the parchment .
i use a icepack for those but some here make a glass tool for it. I think for the most part if you dry and cure well before pressing and it is easier to collect.

I press two strains that produce a sappy ridiculous consistency from multiple crops across the seasons (unsealed rooms and sealed). Reminds me of making marshmallow. Not the breaking an expensive stand mixer part but the tackiness.

I put the sheets in the freezer and clean individually. Any sort of handling requires more freezing. Both have unique and sharp terpenes. Working it too long can cause fits of pure murderous rage as it sticks to everything.

And too wet of a flower makes for shit sticky as said above. Pushed a bead of wax once fucking around that way.

I can pick that shit up unfrozen with my roller tool. I have experience with a strain like that, always liquid. It will run off the razor if you have it vertical.

I'm looking for a tool that will get the rosin off the paper. Im using a dab tool that works well most of the time.

This is what I pressed today. I cant touch this stuff it will stick to anything it touches.. Pressed at 190f for 70 sec.

HH - i use old ss dental tools. U can get em cheap on ebay and even at ace hardware stores. There are many useful shapes u can pick thru and get a nice flat sided tool. Work great.

I havent tried TFX , but i have tried slick sheet. It is harder to get off the slick sheet than parchment as I recall.

HMK, I'm also a glassblower, yet I can't envision how a 8mm glass rod can pick up super sticky rosin without leaving a streak of residue behind on the parchment.

Been doing it every day for well over a year, and i use closer to a 20mm roller, 7mm handle. Works excellently, no streaks.

Could we get a picture of that? I use a glass swizzle stick and it works OK but I'm curious what a pro like you uses. I have heard you mention it a few times but I can't quite picture it.

Thanks

I lose a good portion on these that are very oily. Just a smear mark on the parchment., If I can get something that removes at least 98% I will be happy. Most of my squashes im getting all the rosin up. This 120um bags @190f run was hard..

I also get the hardest to pick up rosin with some of the strains, especially when its really fresh, nothing that a icepack and a dab tool can't pick up. I generally mix it all into one pile, then repress to clean through coffee filter and it becomes easier to pickup.

I have been using gloves to gather it up. I stretch it out and it comes out pretty nice. I am pressing bubble hash so it's really nice and shattery. It tends to fly off the paper if I try to scrape it with a dabber.

OilSlick recently released FEP clear film, apparently much more nonstick that parchment or PTFE.

I couldn't help but grab a few samples.
