I tried tubular in my early experiments and I just couldn't find a screen/filter that would work.
Tubular would definitely rule.
Tubular would definitely rule.
are you talking tube extraction? i hope so, thats the future i think. pressing plates is ok, but for volume i bet tubular would slay..
hair straightenrs and curlers are for the ladies...no thanks...yeehaw ..dry sift and bubblehash rule..
I feel ya wit the hair staighteners S-T, but HYDRAULIC PRESS?!?? Thats like if a tractor and a semi got drunk off moonshine and raped a 50 cal assault rifle and had a baby.
As soon as I found about this tek thats where my mind went exactly.
ATM I am working on de-bugging an 20 ton press a friend has butr as soon we get that all settled i am going to try to develop a ram style press.
I imagine a bore with cylinder to fit that has a tolerance of around .oo1 and have screen thats at bottom with .0017 iu or so, with a few relief holes at bottom of ram. the idea is the oil will follow the path of least resistance and flow out the bottom... Make sense , i know it sounds convoluted but love to hear any ideas about this. we would be heating the ram and cylinder of course.
My first post here but have been lingering for years. Wanted to share with you guys my mini 4ton hydraulic press, still needs to be beautified though...has three interchangeable sets of plates for other art projects as well. I designed and 3d printed the case for the electronics, plus some minor pieces on the press itself. maybe it will inspire others as it is meant for small personal uses =) View Image
Super clean press! And small too, I dig it great job! Do you feel 4 tons is enough pressure?
I max out my 6 ton every time with a slow consistent squeeze. Not sure if its really necessary though to get everything out. Im only squishing for personal use on 2 inch blocks though
So I have a hair straightener, a t-shirt press, and a 20 ton press. Bubble, kief, hash all press just fine with my t-shirt press. The 20 ton is needed when pressing flowers. Anybody else concur?
