I'm waiting to hear of Denver's ballot issue, (something)300, to allow smoking in some public places.

The Denver Post has been saying it's to close to call just yet, they are also saying ballots will not be finished being counted until or by monday.

If it passes, I think we could see a state wide ballot question in two years for the rest of the state. But we'll have to get at least 55% to get it passed since the other ballot issue that makes it harder to change the state constitution passed which means you need 55% to pass anything.

Initiative 300. Too close to call.

I think that 55% only applies to amending the Constitution. That measure sucks because it defies the principle of one man one vote.

PCK x Grape Ape cross. cut her down today and trimmed her up quick. These buds are SSSOOOO dense you can't beleive. the grape smell quickly turned very skunky sour on trimming. From cut to final trim about 5-6 hours. now i dry them very slow. The lawn-mower smell should set in tomorrow telling me to quit sweating them. I trim and dry totally different from most.
I Am taking tonight off. the lights really mess with my head. The smell makes it hard to sleep more than about 4 hours ( i have get lit to get that). Tomorrow...Girl Scout Cookies.

Edit; Almost 24 hours sweating...still smells like grape. Not sure what to do with this one...it is changing things up on me. I still want a nice slow cure to make her as black as i can. Were is that limit where she molds??? Thinking maybe vacuum??? Change out air every 8-12 hours??? I don't know what to do.

So... I have 3 girls from 12 seeds of the Rio Negro Colombian. I try to flower 6 but it'll have to do, I guess. They won't be crowded so maybe yield will be relatively OK. There are 3 phenos- lanky sativa, ovoid christmas tree sativa & a crown of buds w/ central spire pheno. I have 2 males off in another area so I can hopefully preserve the genetics.

I have a few folks asking for spring seedlings for next year outdoors. I'd appreciate some recommendations, particularly fems to make it easy on myself.

Denver Votes To Make Marijuana Cafes A Real Thing

Denver Votes To Make Marijuana Cafes A Real Thing

Denver is making green history yet again.

The city’s voters appear to have legalized the social use of marijuana in permitted private establishments, according to election results released Monday evening.

Supporters of Initiative 300 led 53 percent to 47 percent as of 6 p.m. ― a margin of 17,173 votes. State election officials noted that results were unofficial until the election is certified on Nov. 22. The Denver Post pointed out it would take a “supermajority” of opposition votes to shift the results as they stand now.

Colorado became one of the first states to legalize the recreational use of marijuana nearly three years ago, but it remains illegal for people to consume it in public. The only way adults can legally consume marijuana is in private homes, with the permission of the homeowner, or in a small number of cannabis-only clubs. Initiative 300 would change that, allowing customers of permitted bars and cafes to bring and consume their own pot.

“Colorado has been sending mixed messages to tourists and residents for too long,” state Rep. Jonathan Singer (D) told The Huffington Post Monday. “We tell people to buy marijuana and then tell them, ‘Don’t smoke it in the store, the park, the sidewalk, the bar, or really anywhere else.’

“And, by the way, don’t take it out of state,” he added. Initiative 300 “is a good solution to that problem.”

Initiative 300 would create a four-year pilot program that would allow Denver businesses, such as bars or cafes, to apply for a permit that would enable customers, aged 21 and over, to consume their own marijuana in designated areas.

Businesses that apply would be subjected to regulations similar to liquor licensing and would be required to obtain approval from a neighborhood organization.

IE Every neighbor will shut them down. We need to find a forced place to trial this out.

Still some steps in the right direction though...

On another note, I was talking about plant counts with a buddy last night and made mention of what Mile High Glass was talking about. I only left it at that but said I would try to find out some more info. Did you ever hear anything else about that or find any news articles, sources, etc. going into detail about that?

Any updated info appreciated.
