NEW Colorado Growers Thread

Speaking of pests, I had some local shithead kid come through my yard and steal an ogkb2.0 and a gg4 I had outside... leaving 2 garlicbreath phenos perhaps to come back and steal tonight...

...built a fucking fence this afternoon, so that was fun...

I hope you find an answer to the 2 legged pests...They hit fast and out of no-where. I keep hoping that my fencing and stuff has mine secure...But the little pests will drive through a brick wall so what is secure?

That's an entirely different type of pest Seaf0ur. Maybe a different type of predator?

That fucking blows man. Maybe you would make you could carefully remove the rootball and then use screws and washers to attach it to the pot itself to some awkward ass 2x4s. Then carefully put the rootball back in? Maybe slow them down enough for you to come running out with the other 2x4?

I didn't know you moved. Hope it's for the best. As you say, your loss is probably due to dumbass kids. Real rippers would have marked the location, waited until at least mid September.

Now that you've been pegged the chances of a successful outdoor harvest are greatly diminished. It also creates security issues for an indoor grow as well. That's part of the reason I won't attempt it in my high foot traffic neighborhood along with the fact that our yard is just too exposed to prying eyes.

Lame...

Put up some trip wires n slow them punks down.

I have a severely autistic 7 year old... the best I can do is boards with nails up on the fenceline... which I can remove during the day.

I'll be burying them in the actual ground... as far as the kid...
I'm pretty sure its the kid my neighbor shot at last year...
He missed and they went running, but left a trail of leaves from what they were carrying going straight to their house...

problem is the 15 year old shithead always has friends around... so its hard to "prove" exactly which shithead came through.

...but I know...

...I'm waiting to see him...

...his momma has an empty house 2 doors down that the shitheads make a bunch of noise at...

The last pic is a detail of the green pheno, def a better yielder than the purple sister.

The upward curl of the fan leaf serrations is different. It's a well behave indoor cultivar if a bit floppy at the end w/ moderate stretch & solid chunky buds, soft sweet aroma.

It doesn't have the form of plants grown outdoors from mexican bagseed 45 years ago or so. I doubt that it's a landrace cultivar. We'll see how it smokes when cured.

Set up an "electric fence" wire it to an outlet so it's 120v. They hit that and they will be yelling out in shock.

You might want to give this a read before going too commando on them. https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=330737

Well this morning i took a shovel to the PCK. I find most plants die when you try to repot after they go wild. This PCK was 5 foot or more...The largest plant i have ever tried to transplant. I had to top 2 feet to fit into my tent...More extreme trimming once he settles in. He seems a little wilted but holding in.

I don't know if it makes sense to gather pollen on this. The only thing i am chasing is a true purple bud. I got this out of the mom. But everything i am seeing from trying to clone, trying to pollinate, to poor seed growth/production, on to the weird plants tell me this is a very bad UNSTABLE near genetic end strain. I think i am wasting time and energy on this purple...There has to be a more stabilized line that i can try???
I still have about 30mL of VERY stable Grape Ape pollen from last year in the freezer. If i want seeds i think it is the better choice for pollen.

That's ill advised & highly illegal because it's potentially lethal.

Real electric fence hardware is neither of those things.

As long as there is no load on the circuit. Now if they have a pacemaker, might not be a good then. Now if you have signs that mention live wires, it's their fault. But seriously I'm just joking about the electric wiring. Rusty fish hooks would be better for this, or perhaps rusty fish hooks with salt on them.

I think I read last year about a grow that was set up in some city back east, and the guy set up like fire works/ booby trapped the grow.

That's just one problem with growing out doors in civilization/town, there is always some one that will try to rip your plants if they can.

I think it was this morning that I scooped up a dead one with the shovel and chucked it into the bushes.

jesus, y'all making me so thankful... i gotta knock on wood, no mice, no ghoper fucks.... almost got the spider mites knocked out indoor & lady bugs coming this week.

Gee WhoDatIs...Who's Wheaties did you pee in?
I have a group of caught/fixed/release cats that have taken over my yard so mice, moles and gophers don't have much of a chance around here. The first year i started back up we had skunks that would eat all the lower branches, Luckily i was growing in giant totes at the time so they really couldn't reach the main stem. The next year rabies knocked down their numbers then bubonic-plauge finished them off. We use to have lots of them, haven't seen one in 4 years.
The hoppers only started this eating the main stems away on me last year. Up to that point i would find a chewed leaf, look around till i found a stoned hopper, and removed it...they really didn't do much harm before. I don't know what has changed in them to cause this much destruction. They normally only get super destructive when they swarm up, so i don't know what is happening in their population. If i can find an answer to that then maybe there might be a simple way to make them change back?

I'm just hoping that this is an exceptionally bad year and that any other years moving forward CAN'T possibly be this fucking bad. I've pretty much written off my Cacoon #4 plant as it's pretty fuct and won't produce much. The Caccon #2 is doing alright but they are still all over it and the BLR has been relatively unharmed but they have just started gnawing on that one's stems. The BLR is the priority. I need to get out there and do another spray. I'm up to 1 Tablespoon of the garlic/chili extract and 2 teaspoons of neem oil per 48 ounce spray bottle. I'll probably even do 1 tablespoon of neem 'cause fuckem. Budset is starting to set in and I won't be able to spray like this for much longer - then I'm really fucked.

I'm pretty over it all really. At least the greenhouse is protected for the most part otherwise I would be REAL fucking emo.
