Ghost Train Keeps A Rollin

Ghost Train Keeps A Rollin

Haven't posted up any garden shots in a while, so thought I'd update. I just retired the Star Killer after getting enough to make the gf happy, just doesn't yield enough to justify the cost of growing it. Will definitely be keeping the Ghost Train Haze, that one's a winner winner chicken dinner. It's been pretty well received so far by some people with way more experience than me, plus I love the RSO I made from it, so it's a keeper. Couple of pics below are from today (end of week 10 with 2 more to go I think).

Been looking at Centennial Seeds for a while trying find a good high CBD strain. Anyone run any of their gear before? Kinda interested in either Otto II or BaOX. Curious what you think.

Good info, thanks Av. May head up there today to see what he's got. Saw something about a re-release of Halcyon too. One of these days I'll try breeding so I can make my own.

I have some of these going did you find an og phenol or haze leaning? Sounds like haze from the time your letting her flower 12 weeks? I sure like the smell of this plant

How much lighting are those GTH's under ? Does it yield at least .75 gpw ?

The phenos I kept were mostly haze leaning. Nice lemony sweet pinesol kinda smell. I'm running them under 450W Eye Blue MH from beginning of flower all the way through and I veg them under LED. I've never taken the time to figure out gpw, maybe I'll do that when I harvest these. Starting amber up a bit now, should be chopping them next weekend. I'll do a calculation to figure out gpw and let you know.

$458 to replace some bolts, an ignition coil, and a spark plug...

Last time I spent that much money I was the one doing the fucking.

A lawyer recently told me the 2 year residency requirement will be no longer starting January 2017 but that it would probably take a year before the license is actually granted. Good news for people interested in the rec market in more than one state, pretty inefficient on the time frame tho.

Checked on the notill over at doublekindness and duck's place, doing well, took the advice from you guys and pulled a bunch of tillage radishes, bunnies were stoked

Still can't seem to get the upload to stop turning my photos sideways, gonna have to look at the camera settings on my phone and see if maybe it's saving files at a weird size.

That is in Colorado.

I doubt the same approach will be taken by other states right off the bat.

The point of the two year residency, is to encourage local business.

I doubt other states will allow outsiders to set up shop and funnel profits to another state.

As far as lifting the requirement here, still need a lot of money. It will help those will large outside investors enter the market here.

Yea thats why I posted in the CO thread. I understand the point of local business but if you're doing business in said state the taxes will stay in said state so it really doesn't make any sense except people not wanting outsiders to take marketshare. Out of state investors have always been allowed in CO, but only at 20% ownership.

On "paper" this is true, but there have always been plenty of out of State owned Companies.

Go to a lawyer write up something saying John is the real owner, and that Bob will represent the company for 2 years as the owner. After that 2 years John (the real owner) steps forward, and takes control.

No one knows but the lawyer, the real owner, and the front man. I know of a few from personal experience that have done this. Sometimes they will kick the front guy down with 5% of the company, but mostly they just pay him a decent salary for 2 years for doing nothing.

This was in the past, and I am not up on the current ownership of any stores so if any enforcement body is sniffing around don't bother asking. :moon:

She has some New Zealand and another breed, I plan to start my own bunny poop factory soon, just been a few years since I had to gut & clean anything harder than a chicken/turkey.

You said good news for people interested in the Rec market in more than one state.

Not sure how you draw that conclusion.

I would be very surprised if other states immediately opened their market to outsiders. I would also be very surprised if states adopt the model CO has.

Yes the tax money stays in state, but it would do that regardless. The state wants those that live in the state to benefit, which was the whole reasoning behind the two year residency. No one wants to see Livwell set up in every state.

If that requirement is in fact being lifted, it is simply because CO wants more tax rev. Maybe it is the fear of CA going rec.

Regardless, a turn key licensed op and dispo can be anywhere from $1-5M. If you don't have that kind of financial backing, you are going to have a really hard time competing in CO.

The sideways pics are a site-wide phenomenon. Im not sure what the deal is either but I bet it's not your camera.
