I've got a touch of frost on the ground this morning.
Forecast for tonight says 34 but I bet it's colder than that.

I'm putting warm water on the girls this evening in order to mitigate the coming frost & will probably do so first thing in the morning as well.

Happy harvests COLORADANS!

I've been puffing Jock Horror for a few days now that it's cured. It's nothing exceptional in terms of potency but it has good punch & a lively complex high as opposed to the little bit dull high of the NL. It has a playground of the mind thing going for it, which I like. The aroma isn't very strong but it's different. I couldn't put my finger on it until the wife commented that it smells like star anise, a strong component of the smell of the nearby asian supermarket. The buds don't look like much, with an overall grey-green cast & tan hairs but the trichome coverage is solid.

I grew it exploring the lineage of Royal Flush, something I grew 3 years ago & still rather like when I drag some out of the wayback stash. Excellent flavor. Of the two parent lines I think that Eldorado has a def edge in the mindfire dept which I like...

My outdoor girls all look like they need 2-3 more weeks. I'm hoping for a warm, dry homestretch on into Croptober once we get past this cooler wet spell.

X2. God I felt like I was in Seattle this last week. I have several that need just a few more weeks. Spent an hour in the rain the other day trying to rig something up but couldn't get it to work. Wont have time to go at it again until this weekend. I hit 26 degrees early this morning. Luckily the girls pulled through. It didn't get below 33 until after 3 am so I got lucky

Most of mine are still throwing pistils & I've got to go until Oct 18 if I want 50 day mature seeds. They may be ready sooner but I like to be sure.

A neighbor's Nirvana's NL is ready for harvest- probably next weekend-

Came through a week of cold & wet like a champ. I started it indoors April 27 & it went out June 4.

Looks good Jhhnn, do you know how cold of temps it was withstanding? I'm always interested in hearing what plants can handle

It was down around 40F several nights in a row. We were more concerned about the wet because it mostly rained for several days straight. Not a hint of bud rot.

Man it has been crappy outdoors for growing, so cold and wet, i'm hoping the PM stays away.

Fingers crossed but I've been doing well here to date as well. I've only had a few spots on one plant but it was from caterpillar damage anyways. I'm thinking another two weeks for me with maybe the Stardawg IX being ready first.

Those caterpillars were pretty bad this year, so were grasshoppers and aphids, i chopped my home made blueberry cross today, it smells super dank cant wait to try my first outdoor organic colorado grown cannabis.

Thats interesting about the caterpillars in your plants. How do they arrive? are you under trees? I had a few coming from a wild cherry tree overhead. I plan to make a table out of it or something. For sure getting the chainsaw out soon to deal with it.
Enjoy that legal weed bro. I hope to be there next season. My place there in Co has been dry all year now harvest time and it is rainy and cold. I keep watching the daily weather to try to be smarter on my first legal run and the long dry warm fall isn't happening this year. It would be a bummer to get a monster plant to finish and have bud rot or PM,or mold from caterpillar poop.
