NEW Colorado Growers Thread

I am starting a campaign of calling the health department to file complaints of dog feces orders from lazy neighbors. If at the end the end of the time they are looking at they find more complaints from dog poo than our herb...They won't have a lot to stand on. It is just a phone call. The cops here are too damn lazy to do anything more than collect the numbers. Let's change those stats!

I think it's just Denver, at least so far.

It's not really about little guys unless you're careless & have really pissy neighbors. It's about warehouse grows tucked in all over Denver who decide to air it out for whatever reason. I drove a mile long stretch of Delaware st south of Evans st 5 days a week for years. It's residential on the east side just across the alley. Big MMJ growers along there reeked out the neighborhood on a regular basis. Dunno what they're growing but it's really skunky stuff.

We all like fragrant cannabis, I'm sure, but low odor varieties are an asset to small growers if not to sellers.

get a spool of barbed wire, go nuts with it and plant away, it's like a dare to the rippers :D

I planted decoys last year sure enough they got taken 2 weeks before they were ready.
I'm sure those rippers are long gone now and anyone else who smoked those buds.

Does any-one have any experience with a bug spray called Talstar One?

The hoppers are already outrageous and Nolobait does not seem to have any effect. I am planning on spraying my entire yard but know i have to keep this away from my grow spot. How far is safe? The hoppers have killed about 2/3 of my yard plants...I want to save something.

Have you ever tried 5% pyrethrum? Listed as organic I believe and with the concentrate you can mix it however you want. 50-60$ a pint. Not for sale in Ca but not sure why.

It's residual effects are what makes me look at this closer.
If it does get rid of everything they claim (Hoppers, crickets, earwigs, ants etc.) then it might help me in fighting other things.
The sad loss will be my spider losses. I had finally found brown-recluses to add to my widows, giant crabs, wolfs, and several jumping species. They keep down rippers also...I don't even go in there when it is dark.
I want to use this on my yard NOT in my grow area...I just don't know what a safe distance would be to prevent it getting into my girls.

I need something STRONGER. Yes i have tried it...The stupid hoppers ate my mums...from which it is extracted. The hoppers changed last year...These are some MEAN mofos.

I only said that because my kids and I always walk around our yard bare foot, hence why I wouldn't use it. On the plus side talstar works great against russet and broad mites

If they are getting after yours then I'll probably be seeing them like you have them here in the next week or two. Fuck my life.

Two of my Swazi seeds came up :dance013:

The ones that didn't pop I think I'm going to try GA3 on. Especially this old Afropips gear.
