PROPS TO HEIRLOOM GENETICS!

I picked up a couple packs of Pices Genetics from Heirloom Genetics & they forgot to ship em out.
I waited a couple week before politely inquiring about the seeds so they hooked it upon with some free beans. (got 'em yesterday)

From Pices I picked up Gnar Dawg & Special Sauce then HG gave me a pack of Snow Ninja (White Haze x Ronnie Barrett) & some Katsu Bubba x Blueberry Temple.

I haven't heard much about HG so thought I'd give yall a heads up.

Buy some agent orange seeds and pop them.
Its a TGA strain if I'm not mistaken. I'm sure someone has some.

Grew Agent Orange last year. Her terps are very nice but unfortunately she's no comparison to Orange Glue from Relentless, whos terps were orange through n through with the added kick from the GG4.

Hey guys Rodehazrd here
I'm looking for advice on growing there in low humidity. Our land deal is done And we hope to be ready next spring. Do we need misters in 20% humidity. Thanks in advance

If they are getting after yours then I'll probably be seeing them like you have them here in the next week or two. Fuck my life.

Don't feel too bad too soon.
I have just given up on finding an organic way to deal with these Hopper, Ants, and mites.
I went out Wed. morning to find one of my Blue Cheeses laying flat on the ground..WTF?!?!?! Turned out the hoppers attacked right under the lowest branches. I propped it up and watered as norm. It still hasn't wilted out, so maybe i can salvage some...If not i am down to 10 of my 24.
The Talstar One P. arrived LATE Wed.. I sprayed the entire yard, trees bushes and all, starting at Sunrise Yesterday. About 7pm i found the hoppers were almost gone. Noticed this morning there was only 1 left and the ants (with a few other things) are gone as well.
Now, i CAN'T spray this too close to my grow area, but it is building one very nice barrier around the area. I think i like this so far.
If anyone wants to know i bought a 3/4Gal bottle for 39.00 delivered from doMyOwn. They were having a sale and a quart is 35.00 delivered. Loooks like i have enough for 3-4 years.

My Season so far, Ended up in hospital the last week of Jan. instead of popping beans...No, i went in looking 8 months pregnant and couldn't walk. Everyone in hospital would look at me like i was the walking dead when my potassium went down 1.8, and all laughed when i popped 7.5 litters of fluid from abdomen...They had to run to get more bottles.
I finally got a little settled and popped seeds in mid-late Feb.. I still can't walk too well, and stairs scare me to death to this day.
April i started going down hill while plants were going up. I changed lights to sex them. May, i had found all but 1 male and set lights longer again. June 1st i get call from doctor saying to go straight to ER. The grow area still isn't ready. Plants are in lg dixie cups. I spent the day getting 12 plants into gallon pots(killed other few), then off to ER.
This time my K is at 1.3...Way bellow the point of death (<2.5). The burning in your veins as they pump that potassium hcl into your veins...It just keeps building till they thin the mix or pop you over on morphine. My arms are still a mess today.

I came out of the hospital calling everyone i could think of, scouring the net to get in touch with others. i needed HELP! Most of the plants were not wanting to reveg and i needed to get them outside then. My ex called and i kinda blew up on her about always wanting free bud. The next day her brother, nephew and 2 grand kids were out side cutting limbs and weeds. They were done in under 2 hours flat. And yes most got buds...that were old enough.
They cleaned and prepped the GHs and i got everything planted the next day. Which was only about 3 weeks ago. The plants are just barely stretching out into their new surroundings. This is the first year that i didn't get the GHs dug completely for mixing the soil...I hope it is still good from last year.

The lesser humidity helps these plants. More trichs and resins. Just remember to root water and feed to reduce sunburn.

Darn deer got 2 of my Bubba Kushes, half of my crop... Chewed 'em down from about 4ft to about 4 branches. Didn't touch anything else though. Guess they like bubba too.
Gotta go get some deer repellent now. Ugh

A long ago gardener friend in Beulah had the same problems. Lion dung from the Pueblo zoo worked to keep 'em away.

Agreed. People grow outdoors all over this arid state w/ good results using root irrigation. Plenty of water is key.

Sorry to hear of your travails. Take care, OK?

Tough luck dude I had one stomp all around my headband years back and ate two blue dreams, nothing else. I tried all the Fox piss soap, liquid fence to no successful end.
Finally moved indoors.
Hope your luck is better

Never thought about sunburn but never had such low humidity
Thanks for the advice. What strains have you used in the dry air? I bet the thick indica ones do well . We seem to prefer the lower yielding strains but want to grow what they are buying in Co. For this project. I'm hoping my system will be good there . I plan to try some other strains Durbin poison for one to get familiar before we make the trek.
I wish you well.

It is interesting to me to hear about deer damage to cannabis plants. We have about 4 acres of hemp out already, in separate spots, but I have not seen any deer damage at all to the fields. Not last year and so far none this year.

All animals enjoy getting trashed in one way or another. Lots of them just eat fermented berries and get drunk. Dear love to eat younger plants. I guess they taste better, like comparing veal to eating some old tough cow

I think a lot of it depends on what other forage is available to deer & their population density in a given area. In dry years, they're really hungry because there just isn't as much food.
