DEA's don't have that kind of money. The ex-DEA I've met are working for the MED and they are still paper pushing after their raider years. I'd be willing to believe that some other bigbiz sold them out, though. That seems way more reasonable to me.

I'd like to think that if the DEA makes raids/arrests that they do so because they have direct evidence of that grow being linked to out of state trafficking. Also, that looks like more than 99 plants. Which isn't legal.

I'm waiting to see a rec grow or MED licensed place get charged with out of state trafficking. We all know people do it.

Or VIP before that. Does anyone remember the ploy they tried to use to lure him back into the state? They have the Post publish a piece with a quote, "We're not after Carlos! We're trying to get in contact with him to give him a tax return!" LMAO

Oops. Selling into high priced markets has always been attractive.

Long ago, circa 1969- 1970, a childhood friend went to DU. Another friend & I had a dynamite connection for Mexican brick- $85-90/lb if we bought 20 or more. The DU guys would rip it out of our arms for $250/lb whenever they were headed home to Scarsdale & places like that for Thanksgiving, Christmas, spring break, whatever. Dunno what they got for it, but they were mostly business majors. Go figure.

Pueblo's local police and sheriff departments announced yesterday that they were going to be targeting local grows over 12 plants. They said that the state has set 12 as a max??? Did i miss something or are they making it up?
I thought that new law said 16 plants and didn't go into effect this year???
Any idea what they are talking about?
I tried to get a hold of captain kirk and was asked not to do so any more...i think i am on the list they mentioned???

This is why we need to play Johnny Pot seed and re-introduce "ditch weed" every where. I'm sure one of you could rig up a drone and we could do seed drops from a drone. Then their attention would be drawn to other places with higher plant counts, and would be a waste of their time to go after only 12 plant grows when there are other places out there with higher counts.

Sorry guys. I have been searching the 2 news sites i watch on tv (5 & 13) to find a link to that. They never posted it...they only list about 60% on their sites so...

Captain Kirk (sorry that is an inside joke going back to the days when he was investigator for my lawyers BKO...he was the one dumb enough to say "beam me up Scottie".)
was showing off a bust of about 50-75 plants...i wasn't paying attention. then he said something about a new state law limiting to 12 plants...I know the city has been pushing along those lines but i don't think there is a state law. During that he said that they had a list of grows that would now be bustable under new law...i wonder if he made that up. I may have accidentally shown him a couple of things long ago...I never thought he would go back to cops, much less become sheriff.
He was the one to call me last year and warn me to hide the Vette because i REALLY made the city cops mad. Now he won't even take a call to ask him what this about. That scares me.

Not last night but it's been doing it all morning today.

Please don't do this. I hate the thought of rogue pollen flying all over the state. If you feel so compelled then maybe do it with fem seed?

the pollen thing is inevitable imo, maybe not in metropolitan places like inner city, but once you get anywhere NEAR (14 mile radius or more in dry air with wind blowing) a hemp farm that isn't pulling males or is growing monoecious varieties for seed/oil, or just hemp farmers that don't know what they are doing (still alot out there unfortunately)
fem seed is a great idea
until the some fems toss nanners and throw pollen that gives rise to potentially more hermaphrodite traits.... i mean if pollen is gonna fly it's gonna be of ALL kinds of diff types... hot hemp, hemp at <0.3% , fem nanner, regular high THC.

i think the general concensus among "seed bombers" should be to start at your local police department, plant in irrigated areas working outwards from there. also specific bombings of HIGH HIGH numbers of seeds at elected officials houses and high profile peoples properties

I use to put a few plants in front of the old cop shop every once in a while...some lasted several months. there just is no place do that around the new hold.

This the closest thing to what was aired. But it doesn't match.

No snow...yet. But we got about 2 inches of hail. Sounds like it is trying to start up again?

This is insanely true! The pot farm out at pleasant view ran by the college prof Abdel has no understanding of hemp and grows all the males together w females, I mentioned cloning good stock and planting but they would rather get there seeds in the ground

Might have ta go have a chat with this fool.
He's ruining a lot of bud crops including a bunch of Medical grows. I've seen the results! The buds are damn fine but the hemp seed they're throwing is a fucking mess.

Might have to get a bunch of those seeds and toss them into his fields! That'll put a damper on his lame ass projects. I mean... He can't be growing anything over .3% THC so lets pollen bomb those fields with some high THC vatieties.

Fight Fire with Fire!

I'm sorry you guys don't like how some people are farming hemp. It's their right to and people faught hard for that ability to grow hemp, just like people faught hard to grow medical flowers. Seed "bombing" their grows is so wrong. Acts like that makes me ashamed of this community.

part of me wants to agree with you
but
the other part of me knows some of these know-nothing hemp farmers (who are NOT the type who have been activists, for broader rights to grow cannabis, but instead are the carpet bagger type) who are growing hemp with males in the fields. one woman local to me is growing multiple fields of hemp for seed in an almost antagonistic manner - she approaches newcomers who are growing hemp and asks to use their field for her "project" hence spreading MORE males across a larger area rather than keeping her pollen isolated in a one field. also she tells local medical growers that they need to move their med crops up into the mtns or out into the desert away from her pollen to avoid having seeded med crops - not understanding at all what it would entail to move an entire med grow in mid august till mid sept (pollen season). alot of hemp farmers act like they have it figured out for a couple/few years before falling flat on their faces because they grew crops of market inviable product (seeded hemp w no CBD value, fiber value or marketable qualities).
this womans seeded crop(s) stand to damage ALL cannabis growers, including CBD hemp growers and medical THC growers alike, her pollen will fly and create seeds in crops all over the valley.
don't get me wrong, i welcome the day when a market viable crop is causing these same problems, BUT that day hasn't come and wont come this season...

Anyone been in contact with anyone from the "Stay Concentrated" group lately? Or did those guys flee the state for greener pastures? They had a great blasting crew, until city regulations forced them into basements and back rooms, where accidents destroyed both equipment and product. One particular extractor from that crew, Mike "Gat", seems to have vanished entirely after burning several of his loyal fans.

Plenty of new places and people to take your extraction materials too, of course, i'm a big fan of Hood and several other newer artisans, just wondering what happened to these guys, from award winners to ghosts in just a few years since their US Cup entry.

Honestly the tolerance of hemp growers and their practices which would be illegal or at least obliviously disruptive when you replace the word "hemp" with any other farmed crop make me sad. Seems like a not so subtle attempt to make sure that outdoor crops become a thing of the past, since law enforcement for the longest time has assumed that the vast majority of black market product is grown outdoors, if suddenly it's almost impossible to grow outside without tainting your genetics with hemp pollen or seeding out your entire crop, they can save a few dollars a year on helicopter flyovers, because fewer people will be willing to risk growing an outdoor crop as the risks against that crop increase in number and frequency.
