I totally agree about the stoney effect. SSH always had a bit of stone to it I didn't like. It was good erbs but it definitely had a stone to it that increased the more you smoked. If I am going to smoke something that feels like cat piss I better be flying me carpet ya know?

I grew and smoked Sour Diesel starting in 2006, a little late but I grew a lot and smoked a lot. I reversed it and grew out 100's of the progeny. The amount of variation was incredible. Of all the plants I found great things but none were equal to the magic of the clone I was originally given out of the Albany, NY area.
Psychedelic I'm not sure about that. The effect was very special as it started by improving my vision, crisping things up so to speak. Very positive, energy boosting, everything I see is new again type effect. Like wow look at the paving job these boys did on that parking lot, just beautiful lol.
Now the downside is after a week of smoking the Sour D the effect was nearly non-existent and that was the case with the S1 gen as well. Really fast tolerance build up. I don't know if that is from the terpenes being volatile and quickly degrading? Just the chemistry relation between my brain and the Sour D?

for me yes, visuals were changed. but as you say it is not stable, so in the same meaning the effect is not stable too, I can get three different effects from it. one chemdog like, one euphoric skunkweed and one with enhanced colors, artistic visuals and changed vision overall...
also every time I grew it, it was a little different. it is not stable in one environment even...
